Maid Brigade of San Antonio

Maid Brigade went over and above to complete the work, sending three employees to do the work in order to beat forecast storms. They made the house look good!

We end up firing them. On a couple of different occasions they ended up breaking things. The cleaning was good. The first time, we let them know to be more careful...not a big deal but it happened again a couple of weeks later. They're getting too sloppy; I understand they've got other places to go but you need to pay attention to what you are doing so when they broke the second we said "Forget, we are done." There were even times when they didn't show up when they said they would then there were times when they were late.

They did a great job. They did pretty well as far as getting the cleaning done. It was satisfactory.

It went alright. They did a decent job for me. They're nice and honest. They do a decent job of cleaning up.

They were very good. They worked the entire time and did a good job. They did what I asked them to get done. We were happy with the service and the quality of cleaning they did.

I have been using them for a long time. If they do not do a good job they would come back and take care of it. They really take pride in their work.

We were not too satisfied. They did not do a job. They cleaned some parts of the house and forgot to clean other areas.

They are great. I am having them on a regular basis. I am very pleased with their work. I am having them every two weeks and when I have to skip a week for something, they work that in. I have been using them for two and half months now. I got them through Angie’s List. I like their communication; they call me to let me know if they are going to be late and to remind me when they are coming. They show up when they show up. Communication is very important. They are usually a team of three.

It was okay and it's not outstanding, I'd rate it about a C. I think they sent 2 people over here and my house is immaculate to begin with. There were stuffs that I didn't feel like that 2 people couldn't have taken care of this house easily and I was just not impressed, it was okay. The only reason that I could say that is because I used to be a housekeeper one time. I'm pretty good at judging stuffs that were done well. I would not use them again.

Cristina and Marisol were early and worked efficiently to clean my home. I would recommend this company.

it went well and I would like to use them again. I am a Realtor so have a very busy schedule. They called to see if I was happy and I was planning to schedule weekly cleanings. I asked that they call me back and I have never heard from them again...service was great but no so good with the follow up.

They showed up on time and brought 3 maids, not 2 (it's a large house). Everything seemed to be going well and they seemed to be cleaning well. However, after cleaning for a while, they informed me they were done, had gone over their 4 hour time, and had already billed my credit card for the additional amount. It would have been nice to have a heads up when they were about to go over time so that I could decide whether to pay for more or not. Overall, though, I was happy and tipped all 3 maids generously. We did not do a walk through to inspect their work. After they left, we realized that 2 of the maids had been doing a thorough job and the 3rd had not. Unfortunately, she was in charge of wiping down/out kitchen cabinets and we found out after she'd left that many had never been wiped and several were still very sticky from grease, even though I'd specifically pointed those out to her as needing work. We also found that several windows and blinds had not been cleaned in the kitchen area. I will say that they did a good job on the bathrooms and ceiling fans, but I don't think the tile floors got much of a cleaning. I hate to give a bad review to the other maids, but you cannot request a specific person to clean your home, so I wouldn't hire them again. P.S. We'd also hired this company to do a move out cleaning on the home we were selling. There, we got the slacker maid again and, while the other maid they sent was more fastidious, we ended up having to go back and redo a bunch of the cleaning and dusting ourselves, which defeated the purpose. On top of it all, one of the maids scrubbed a counter top so hard that she scrubbed THROUGH the laminate surface. The manager offered to refund our money or pay to have the counter resurfaced. I had him resurface the counter, but the company they hired did an uneven job, so I should have taken the refund. Maid service was supposed to reduce the stress of home selling and it did the opposite in this case.

The team of 3 arrived timely and worked quickly and effectively. They had good teamwork and did a great job.

two hours late, took personal calls, incomplete job

I spoke with them last week and she was supposed to call me yesterday to set up a scheduled appointment. Since I did not know when they were coming I made other plans. I found a notice at my door saying they came by twice while I was out. If they would have called me I would have known what time they were coming. Since they didn't call I wasn't home. I wasn't planning on sitting at home all day waiting for them to arrive.

Young ladies came right in the house and started. Did a great job!

The two cleaning ladies arrived on time and prepared for the job. They worked diligently and cleaned, dusted, and vacuumed the house.

They came at the time that we had it scheduled for them to come out. The big deal price was $89. It was over $90 additional. When they asked the questions on how big our house was and the square footage, they said that it was $89; I figured that's what we would get. She said that if it went over, it would cost more. The girls were very thorough, but they were very slow. I could see that they were not going to get near end what they had. I only have an 1800 square foot home. I've cleaned it before, and I know that they could have done it an hour if there were two of them working instead of one for three hours. I've had my house cleaned for three hours before and had it finished. But they have didn’t finish. So when they got through an hour later, we paid double. They did a good job but they were slow. I wouldn’t recommend them. This was my first time using them. They did a good job with what they did. I have a lot of detail work in my furniture. I think I even saw them wiping counters in the kitchen twice that they had already done. I had to be here because I had a knee replacement. It was the reason I couldn’t do it. I wasn’t sitting right under their nose, but I could tell. As slow as they worked, they would have been here five hours to get it cleaned like what they did in the bedroom and bathroom. What they did, they did good. They didn’t explain it very well that if they didn’t get it done in a certain hourly time that it would cost more. They didn’t say that. They said that it was two girls for one hour and a half or one would take three hours. So I said okay an hour and a half with two working, they can get through in an hour and a half. It was three hours before they left here. I thought the price was good when we purchased it but that wasn’t what we ended up paying. If it had been explained more carefully, I probably would have understood, but I didn’t. They came out when they said they were going to come out. I would imagine they are very professional; I don’t know. They were young girls. They didn’t talk much to each other. They were working. My only complaint is that they were just way too slow.

Extremely satisfied. So much so I've requested they clean my home on a monthly basis. They were prompt, showing up when they said they would and they were thorough.

They cleaned 2 bedroom, office, utility room, formal dining room, kitchen, adjacent breakfast room, 3 bathrooms, hallway and stairs. This involved dusting, vacuuming, cleaning all the tile floors and baseboard, all ceiling fans. I requested assistance from Josie before they came to help me with cleaning the oven. I had cleaned some of the oven but could not get the sides, back and interior top part of oven because of an accident. Josie arranged for that. Josie said if it is not something they normally do just call in advance and let her know. Christina and her partner who cleaned the house were extremely professional, knowledgeable and fast. Josie has been great to work with in arranging the appointment and helping me to identify what needed to be done. The Maid Brigade called me 30 minutes of my purchasing the $99 deal. I would strongly recommend the Maide Brigade and will definitely use them in the future.

Everything went well. They sent 2 young girls to clean and were here for 4 hours. I asked them to concentrate on the bathroom and kitchen, which they did. They did a magnificent job!

It went well. The ladies were pleasant and professional and came on time. I signed up for bi-weekly service. They did a nice job.

I had requested that the bare floors be washed and that the carpets be vacuumed, as this was a special (3 hrs. of cleaning for $89.00) and I wasn't sure that more could be done during that time. However, the service sent three ladies, and they cleaned the entire first floor, including high dusting and cleaning of window blinds. The ladies were careful and thorough. This work was good.

I purchased a Big Deal for the work and it was a good experience.
