In may I received a quote to have my cabinets refinished and granite counter tops installed. The salesman, Bill Shaw, was very nice and promised a superb professional job. I should have known something was wrong when the install date kept getting moved and I always had to initiate contact. First I was told it work take 1 week to finish my cabinets. That would be sanding, staining and polyurethane. I was promised that the paint in the kitchen would be touched up where the stain made contact and that everything would be left clean. I believe "TURN KEY" was the phrase used. One guy showed up to work on my cabinets, He did a great job at sealing off the work site and covering the floors. For the rest of the week, he came and went working a few hours here and there. After 3 weeks the kitchen was still not complete and the quality of work that was done was VERY POOR. You can see all the sanding marks, the color is not uniform, the poly does not even extend to the top of the cabinets. I contacted the owner, he came out and said that this was quality work, but promised that he would have someone correct the areas I had an issue with. This never happened. During this time, the granite counter tops were installed. When I returned on him the evening the cook top and the sink were left unplumbed. The granite was VERY grainy to the touch. Again, I contacted SAL, the owner and he said he would send someone back out to fix it. The sink was plumbed and the stove was connected, great! But the counter tops were still a mess. Someone came out, scrapped them with a razor and sprayed some more sealer on them. There are stains, CHIPS, and unevenness to the counter tops. This entire process has been a complete mess. I paid really good money to have this work done by a professional and it is ammeter at best. When I contact Bill, the sales guy, he tells me to talk to the owner. The owner will not return my emails. I have contacted other contractors to see how much it would cost to finish and correct the job. I was told it would be THOUSANDS of dollars in order get the job done correctly. I was told that the cabinets will cost more to fix at this time then it would have been if it was done correctly the first time.

AFter waiting 6 weeks for the job to start, he did a terrible job on the concrete sidewalk. Said he would fix it but it looked even worse. Finally got the owner to come look and he agreed they could have done a better job. Said he would come fix it. But that was weeks ago and they are not answering calls or emails. we paid just under $3000 for this work.

Gave them my check for about Aug 13 for $3099 and they cashed it but the service was not done for about 5 - 6 weeks after that. Owner Sal was nice but made an excuse that one of his workers wives went into early labor and was going to be gone for 1 1/2 weeks. So I had to wait for my work to be preformed.

Last year we had significant remodeling work done to our house and we love our kitchen and baths, though we have several issues with quality and the owner's integrity with honoring warranties. We have several quality issues with kitchen cabinetry which the owner acknowledged and supposedly ordered. We have crooked drawers and cabinet doors that have slightly warped and have "streaks" in the finish. We have texted and called the owner many times and even filed a report with the BBB which the owner answered by stating he would contact us. He has not. During the remodel, the only time we ever saw the owner was when a payment was due or when there was an issue I called about. The workers, as professional as they were, are not all as detailed oriented as they should be as there were tiles laid very off-center which we had to ask to be redone in the bath, cabinet handles not centered, etc. We also have can lights in kitchen which are having issues with working/not working randomly and we can't determine brand so we can try to replace ourselves. Though the owner stated there is a job supervisor on site at all times not sure I would qualify that as a believable statement. Not sure who it actually was. Most days there were only two employees, though at times three. VERY slow project. Not much attention to care of property during their work as they stapled plastic to doorframes, leaving staples behind; laid plastic down over laminate floor and moisture accumulated creating a warp; propped ladders against freshly painted walls. Owner did not seemed concerned with any of this. If you choose to use this contractor, ENSURE all quality concerns are addressed BEFORE final payment. I remember writing the last check to him and saying I trusted he would address the issues.

I had contrcated with S&D Remodeling on more than one occassion over the last few years. Generally I had been satisfied with the results. However, on almost every project, the cost was never the same as what was originally quoted. More importantly, one project involved providing repairs to a living room area of my house. A wall was repaired and the job supposedly completed. Unfortunately, it was discovered several months after the project was supposedly completed and payment in full was made, that, during their repairs, they in fact shorted an electrical circuit in the living room area rendering 3 electrical sockets downstream from the socket that is located on the repaired wall, inoperable. Clearly the contractor never tested to validate all sockets were working properly before the project was deemed completed. I happened to find the problem during the Christmas holidays when we attempted to plug some lights into those sockets. We had fogotten to immediately contact the contractor and report the problem but did run into one of his crew that did the repair, at a home improvement center and told him about the problem and told him we needed to get it repaired soon. It was not a pressing issue so we did not puruse vigoriously. It came to the forfront again this holiday season when we were unable to utilize those sockets. This time we contacted the contractor/owner and explained the situation and he scheduled a visit to diagnose the problem. He also had an electrician come by who verified the problem. The contractor kept indicating he would fix the problem if it was proven to have been caused by his crew. After it was diagnosed they left and were to get back to me with a repairr plan. Did not hear back from the owner for weeks! This is after several attempts to reach him by phone, email & text. When he realized he wasn't going to make any money on this deal, he became unavailable.
 I am taking this matter seriously and pursuing various options to hold this contractor accountable for the repair. I would suggest you are considering using thsi contractor's services...proceed with caution.

The project manager was in contact with me each time there was a weather delay and the crew did a great job!  I will be using this team again soon for other projects at my house.

I called S & D remodeling because a friend of us had used S & D remodeling before and they said that they had done an excellent job on renovations of their water view Rowlett, TX home and also that the price was very reasonable .  After we contacted about 2 other companies around the area. We decided to give them a call. So we did. Their price was better than the competitors. We talked to Sal Dominguez (the owner) and he responded very quickly. He discussed all our options and prices in a very professional way. He explained how long the job was going to take and we asked that he'll tell us the real time, (as we had experienced with other contractors, were they promised to get the job done in two weeks and they took about 3 months to complete the job.) He said about 4-5 weeks and he did, he got the job done in 4 1/2 weeks . We were very pleased with their work and professionalism getting everything done on time. S & D guys were very experience and respectful. The whole process when very smoothly and they took care of all our furniture when they were moving them around from room to room. I will hire them again if we have to do it all over again. Thank you S & D remodeling for our newly remodel house. Great job !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Give them a call I can highly recommend them.

S&D Remodeling did a great job on our renovations, called other companies and they could not do all the work we wanted to do, 
 they said that they have to call their plumber to go see the work  need it to be done, and also their texture guy and so on,
but S&D Remodeling was able to do all the work that we need it to get done. at a much affordable price for our budget.
the work was done exactly the way Sal Dominguez said ( project manager ) . they were able to get the work completed as they told us that it would take. very please with them , i will call them  again in the future  and will recommend this company, to any body thats looking into remodeling their home. good job S&D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I called S&D Remodeling for several projects. Sal Dominguez responded very quick and professional.
ask them to give me a quote and they did. had other quotes from different companies.  all were   higher than S&D Remodeling. I gave them the job, and we started the project. everything when along very good , sal dominguez explained to me everything that was going on and the schedule for the following days. they gutted the bathroom and the floors, at first the house was not looking clean . but when they finished with the projects it look excellent.  I will call them back for my other projects without a doubt. Very please with there work and guys were very professionals.

His team showed up on time and the work was completed as promised.  Sal provided a contract, returned all phone calls in a timely manner and was very professional.

I NEED IT A COMPANY FOR MY HOUSE REMODELING PROJECTS . WE TOOK OUT A HOME EQUITY LOAN FROM THE BANK .
WE HAD A LOT OF STUFF THAT WE WANTED TO DO: BUILD A NEW FENCE, REMODEL OUR KITCHEN, BATHROOM, FIRE PLACE,
AND SOME TILE AND WOOD INSTALLATION. SO WE CALLED SEVERAL CONTRACTORS, BUT SOME WILL NOT DO ALL THE WORK THAT WE NEED IT TO DO , AS WE WHERE TRYING TO BUNDLE ALL THE WORK , SO WE CAN SAVE SOME MONEY.
SO WE KEPT TRYING AND TRYING CALLING . AND MEETING PEOPLE ABOUT THE PROJECTS. SO WE CAME ACROSS S&D REMODELING WEB SITE IN THE BBB SITE. WE CALLED THEM AND THEY CAME TO OUR HOUSE WE TALKED AND WE FELT VERY GOOD ABOUT THE COMPANY . THEY EXPLAINED OUR OPTIONS IN A  VERY  PROFESSIONAL  WAY. 
PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. WE CLOSE THE CONTRACT AND THEY BEGAN THE WORK. 
WHILE THE PROJECTS WHERE ON THE PROCESS THE  GUY ON CHARGE  ( SAL DOMINGUEZ )  WAS VERY GOOD IN EXPLAINING THE WAY EVERY THING THAT WAS HAPPENING AS FAR AS THE MATERIALS , SCHEDULING OF WORK, TIME THEY WILL COME IN AND TIME THEY WILL FINISH WORKING FOR THE DAY. HIS GUYS WHERE VERY EXPERIENCE  IN THE WAY TO DO THE WORK . AND ALSO VERY POLITE PEOPLE . WE FELT VERY GOOD ABOUT THE JOB . WE WILL LEAVE TO GO TO WORK AND GET TO THE LATER EVERYTHING WAS LEFT CLEAN EVER DAY , THEY REALLY TOOK CARE OF ALL OUR FURNITURE THAT WE HAD IN THE HOUSE.  COVER EVERYTHING SO NICE  THAT WE WERE REALLY PLEASE . 
PRICE WAS VERY AFFORDABLE , AND THE HOUSE LOOKED SO BEAUTIFUL AFTER ALL THE WORK WAS DONE.
I WILL RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYBODY . THAT'S LOOKING FOR GOOD HONEST PEOPLE TO DO BUSINESS WITH
I CAN TELL YOU THIS IT IS HARD TO FIND HONEST PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD .
