Mayers Maid Service

They did an incredibly fabulous job. If I lived in their service Area I would use them.

Did not use the service as they were busy the date we wanted. The company responded immediately and tried its best to accommodate.

I communicated with Andre Mayer through Angie's email. He was very responsive and came out to see what I wanted to be cleaned. He and two maids arrived on time. When the time was up, Andre inspected their work. The maids stayed longer than the number of hours I paid for in order to finish the job. They did an excellent job.

I used Mayers Maids after a recommendation from my parents. They came to clean my 1 bedroom apartment and I couldn't be happier with the results. Everything looks great, and I was so pleasantly surprised to find all of my decorative items (and there were quite a few) beautifully cleaned/dusted and placed back on the shelves where they were. They even cleaned the chair pads at my kitchen table! The only drawback was that they were late (got lost), but the owner was prompt with responding to my concerns and even called after they were done to make sure I was satisfied with the job they did. Overall I'm very pleased with the service.

We have been very pleased with Mayers Maid Service. They do a great job and are very careful with any accessories and decorations that you may have placed around your home. IF something happens to get damaged or broken they not only left a message at your home stating what had happened, but they send you a message (call or email) and are quick to resolve the situation as well. We highly recommend their services and have been using them now for over 5 years!

Did a very nice job. One problem...on Angie's List it is stated that he accepts credit cards. However, he said there would be a 2% surcharge if i elected to pay by credit card. This should clearly be spelled out on the site.

It went very, very well. They covered details I didn't even think to ask for which was great!

The scheduling was quick. The ladies came and did a thorough job of cleaning the house and did everything I asked them to do like clean the inside of the ovens, changing of bed linens etc. Andre also helped me clean out the garage. Going to try them out for a monthly service.

The service went well, and they did a good job. They are coming on a regular basis now. They come every two weeks.

They arrived on time and were ready to go to work when they walked in the door. All went well. Very efficient. Did a through job in all the areas that I expected. Very pleased.

Two ladies came on time and started right away. I explained what I needed to have done. They were very thorough. Andre Mayer came by first to give an estimate and then came back while the ladies were here to check on things. He also made a follow up call. They were all very professional.

This is the third maid service I have tried and by far, the best! The two ladies did a great job cleaning my house. They were attentive, polite, quiet and efficient. I would definitely recommend using this company.

Mayers Maids is by far the best cleaning company with which I have ever worked. Their performance is consistent and superior to any other company I tried before them. Andre will periodically do his own inspection of the work performed, and he will make sure everything is perfect before they leave. I have absolutely nothing but praise for Andre, his team of house cleaners, and his company!

The appt was easy to make and Mr. Mayer came the next day to do a walk through to determine the cost and effort it would take. I didn't so much mind paying $285 but there are a couple of things I think should have been included for that amount of money. I was told by Mr.Mayer that it would probably take 5-6 hours for three people. My husband was home during the cleaning. He said they started out very thoroughly and by about two hours they had slowed down considerably and things done really well in one room weren't quite as thoroughly well done in another. He said that they became less organized as they went along, and one person would clean something and another would come behind and clean the same thing. They only stayed about 3 to 3 1/4 hours. Added to that, there were several rooms which they were told would not need to be cleaned, so they weren't expected to clean certain areas. Mr. Mayer left a sheet of paper for the cost of regular cleaning and I wanted to have them clean again, but there was not any follow-up and my husband thought he had thrown the price sheet away. I would like to try them again, but if the ladies who did the work had no interest in cleaning my home, then I probably wouldn't end up satisfied. I would recommend them to someone who is going to be around and can make sure the things they think are important are taken care of as I got the impression they are a reliable service. I just didn't think they much cared to make me a regular customer.

Mr. Mayer himself came to perform the quote. He did a very good job at assessing the situation. WIthin about twenty minutes we had a quote. We were ready to proceed forward with him, however, we found that the payment terms were the sticking point. Many services we find are like his in this respect. They want payment at the time service is rendered. That's fine, however, like many people we don't like keeping cash on hand in our home - and don't. Instead we pay by bank check or credit card or PayPal to all of our vendors. Mr. Mayer wanted payment same-day. That would work if the invoice was electronic and he accepted electronic funds transfers, but alas a physical check or cash were the only options available to us. I'm certain Mr. Mayer does a good job, however, for working people who don't like dealing with cash (obvious issues) and who don't use handwritten checks anymore (fraud, bounced checks, lost checks) . Additionally we like a paper trail. I'm sure this gentleman and his staff do a fine job - and for those who are willing to pay in cash or check I'd strongly recommend at least getting a free quote. Very pleasant and knowledgeable gentleman. We have, however, selected another service at this time.

I just bought a house and we decided to get a monthly cleaning service. I searched Angie's list and called a few companies. I ended up calling Mayers Maid and talked to Andre. He was professional and came out to my house the next day to give me an estimate. He worked with me on my budget and we set a time for his crew to come out the next week. They did a great job. We were very happy with them and now have them scheduled to come monthly.

Perfect they come every other Tuesday. I love them and I needed to do a better job by getting on Angie's list and actually putting in reviews because we're new to the area so every time we move we get on Angie's list to try to figure out who to use you know because we don’t know anyone but yes they are my cleaning service. They come every other Tuesday and in fact there coming tomorrow. They're really good and in fact I actually had a few issues along the way and I emailed the owner, Andre and not only being rectified the situation but every time the ladies are here I have same cleaning crew every two weeks when they come in and he comes in behind them and just to make sure that everything is out par and so he is really good and I have made friends here that have made new cleaning services in different areas of town and they never get consistency and I get consistency with them. Nobody ever cleans your house as well as you would clean your house you know but they were very consistent. They do a good job.

I've never had a maid group as good as Mayers Maid Service. I've never had such in depth cleaning before. Mayers Maid Service is very thorough. The man who owns the service trains the employees. He also finds out what I need and communicates that to the employees. They are very polite and extremely professional. I trust them being in my home.

It went extremely well. Two maids and a manager, together, did a really nice job. Very polite, and professional from start to finish. Received discount for being a member of Angie's List. The house did not smell of chemicals afterwards, but pleasant refreshing.

Called for an estimate and they showed up as scheduled. Scheduled the cleaning that went without a hitch. Would use again, cleaning made the apartment look like new.

We have been using Mayers Maids since early September 2012. The owner, Andre, is very responsive and always pleasant to speak with. His employees are friendly, professional and efficient. They do an excellent job, with an attention to detail that is greatly appreciated. I love coming home after they have been here - the house smells, looks...is clean! We plan to continue using this service for a long time.
