My car was doing the same problem as before. Mike came and picked me up with my truck and i was going to take him back but in the process my truck died in the drive way. Mike was fussing with me about getting back to shop and he didn't want to fix it. His focus was more on getting back to the shop. So i told him my truck wasn't fix he started name calling so he grabs my keys and runs in the shop. and told him if he had any more issue's to call the police i started to call the police and he came back to my truck and said it was my spark plugs. so i said its my spark plugs now huh, so he ingnored me and went back in the shop. I said hey i'm trying to pay for this but he was just rude very mean. By this time police came out and they told me couldn't do anything about it because it was a civil matter. He tried to tell me i could leave it there again to do more work i didnt feel comfortable in doing that.
Description of Work: I took it in to diagnose and idle problem on the car that was causing it to die.

Response from EAGLE TRANSMISSION
This is in response to Ms (member name removed) review of Eagle Automotive and Transmissions. The actual person the repair was done for is named Mr. (name removed). (name removed) brought his 1992 Chevrolet C1500 pick up truck with 348,088 miles on it and his complaint was quote "it dies when I come to a stop". (name removed) made it very clear that his main concern was to get the vehicle to not "die" when it came to a stop. We explained to (name removed) that the throttle body needed to be overhauled and the idle air control valve needed to be replaced. (name removed) was given a fair price for this repair but wanted to pay a lower price so we at Eagle accommodated this gentle and settled on a price of $350.00. The repair was completed and the vehicle was road tested. The issue with "dies when it comes to a stop" was corrected. We picked up (name removed) at his residence and felt strongly that he would be happy with the repairs but immediately started to point OTHER issues with is 31 year old vehicle with 348,088 miles on it. He pointed out that it was not idling PERFECTLY smoothly. (name removed) then seemed as if he was unwilling to bring back our employee. This caused great anxiety and thus explains the reaction of our employee. No one at Eagle has ever experienced this situation before. Upon returning to the facility, (name removed) made prolong stops at every light and stop sign to see if the truck would "die", which it did not. (name removed) was still not satisfied and refused to exit his vehicle and pay for the repairs. (name removed)initial issue was corrected but his expectations are unrealistic. The truck is 31 years old and the engine has an extreme amount of miles on it. It is impossible to get an engine in that condition to run like new and we feel that (name removed) was simply trying to find a reason to not pay for the repairs. We at Eagle have absolutely nothing to hide and would be happy to share any information with anyone who inquires. We at Eagle are members in good standing with the Chamber of Commerce of Pearland, we have an A* rating with the Better Business Bureau and are very active in the community through charities and events. We explain in great detail all our repairs and do no repairs without the understanding and approval of our customers. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction and will continue to do so.

On May 23,2012 we had 2006 Buick Lucerne towed to Eagle Transmission. They replaced a transmission cooler line assembly and serviced the transmission, charging us $561.72. This service took 2 days. Then on Oct 16, 2012, we returned the car to Eagle due to leaking transmission fluid problems. This time they kept the car for five days, charged $1519.98. They replaced valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, transmission 0'ring and filter. We asked that they review all parts that may need to be replaced and to do so while the transmission was out of the car. Their receipt stated to return the car within 2 weeks for recheck in order to validate the warranty. During the 5 days that they had the car, they never called to provide status. I had to call them to get updates. Took the car back on Oct 27 for recheck and because we still had leaks. They stated they needed it overnight. We arranged to return it the next week. Took it back on Oct 30 through Nov 2. They stated that they had replaced another gasket, but did not provide any paperwork since it was under warranty. On Dec 1, we took the car back again. They called at the end of the day stating that another fitting was needed. They indicated they would get it the next day. However, after not hearing from them on Dec 2, we called & were told it would another day before they could get part, so we picked up the car. After waiting another day for their call, both myself & my husband called to check on part. They stated they were having problems finding. I asked for exactly the description of part. I then called a autodealership & found the part. I called Eagle back, told them the phone # & person to talk to. Within 1/2 hour, they called my husband & said dealership was closed. However, after their phone call, I again called the dealership & they were open. At this point, we decided to take the car to the dealership for repair. We dropped off the car on Dec 5th at the dealership. On Dec 6th, the owner of Eagle Transmission called our home to ask about Customer Service. My husband explained that we now had car at the dealership, and they they had determined that the oil pan gasket and Transmission fitting were still needing to be replaced. Things that we had already paid Eagle to fix were now going to have to be done a second time since they were not completed correctly and/or throughly by Eagle Transmission. At first the owner, Michael Sawyer, told my husband that once they got the part for my car, they would charge us to replace, and not cover under warranty. He later, called my husband back and recanted this statement. He said that they would cover it under warranty. However, after having our car in their shop for a total of 14 days from May 23-Dec 2, having little customer service, and several untruths, we do not wish to have Eagle work on our car. My husband told Mr. Sawyer that we had already authorized the dealership for the needed repairs. My husband did ask Mr. Sawyer to refund us $1000. However, Mr Sawyer would not agree to any refund. Even though it will cost us a lot more money, we wish to have the car repaired by a shop that can be trusted.
