Worst customer service and experience. I would give them 0 stars if that was an option. Please take your business elsewhere. The owner is rude and non-trustworthy. It's your Floor charged my credit card BEFORE work was performed to repair hardwoods, refused to honor the quote that was given to me for the work, refused to refund me, and then charged my card 3 weeks later again fraudulently after the credit card company had investigated the dispute. Read other reviews, this is your warning. Do not give them your business! I would STRONGLY recommend you look elsewhere

It was going very well until I was " pushed" to pay my balance in full before job was completed. I paid my balance IN FULL and I never saw Gary or Mike ( co-owners?) again. I was forced to take action on my own after waiting several days for my problems to be fixed by It's Your Floor. I was left with a Master shower and two bathroom room sinks that were completely stopped up. I was forced to call my regular plumier to clear all my drains and correct problems ( at my expense ). ALL, the electrical plugs in both sides of bathroom did not work ( a total of 10 ). Again, I was forced to call my regular electrician to correct problems again ( at my expense ). I was assured the painter would be back to touch up all newly painted areas damaged during remodeling. Today, a month later I am still waiting for a painter. After several stains on my Master Bedroom carpet I was told by the supervisor ( Sergio ) that my carpet would be cleaned and all stains removed. I am still waiting. BOTTOM LINE-- DON'T PAY IN FULL UNTIL JOB IS 100% COMPLETED. I was so disappointed in this company I was so sure I could trust them and they would make things right. :(

The padding makes a crunching noise in many areas. "Mike" was defensive about my complaint and never fixed it. The $500.00 was for painting and intalling all new floor and door molding in the bedroom during the same project. I have never seen a poorer job of intalling molding. The molding didn't match any of our other molding, including in the master bath and wasn't even the same size. There were gaps 1/2 to 3/4 inch wide between the bottom and tops of the door molding and poor cuts to the floor molding. The contractor suggested we scoot the molding up and use filler...we paid for that???? There were large gaps in the floor molding corners that exposed the wall behind. They were never painted. He lied to his boss about us and the work, he said workers were coming to repair that never showed up and he didn't return phone calls. Painter never showed up. The worse experience ever on a home remodel project. My husband ended up buying all new molding, painting it and installing himself and we lost the $500.00.
Description of Work: $1,335.18 of the cost was for installed carpet in our bedroom. $500.00 was supposed to be for floor and door molding installation and painting.

I believe a company should be judged by how they take care of issues rather than how good of a job they can do. Anybody can do a great job. The true character in a company is how well they take care of their customers when issues arise. I contracted Its Your Floor to replace approximately 130 square feet of granite in my kitchen. The finished work looks great. The backsplash is amazing. I had asked Andrew, my salesperson, to be sure and have the guys cut the cooktop outside of my home. Research told me you should request this as it is very dusty to cut the granite inside the home. Unfortunately, this did not get relayed to the installers. Hole was cut in the kitchen area without anything being covered prior. Dust is to be expected for construction of this type, but some extra care could have been taken to minimize this and was not. Within 2 weeks of the completion of the kitchen my stove just quit working. It is an electric flat glass cooktop. I was mad at myself for not replacing it at the same time as the granite due to the cutout issue. I attempted to reach Andrew to ask about possible troubleshooting ideas, and also wanted to order granite for my master bathroom. After leaving 4 unanswered messages, I went to the store in person. By this time I had already discovered that the electronics in the stove were burnt, therefore no need to burden Its Your Floor with this issue. I did order my granite December 8th from Danielle, but have not heard from Andrew still to this day. The granite was scheduled to be installed on the 15th of December. I purchased a new cooktop for $850 which was a lesser model than the original Jenn-Air at $1500. Upon removal of the original cooktop it was discovered that it was not wired properly at the time of granite installation. Both black and red wires were not secured within the wire nuts. Heavy burn markings were present on the wires and housing. Fortunately, the breaker worked properly and tripped ? keeping the home from catching fire. I took photos into the store to show Gary (says he is the owner) the issue. He then tells me he is not responsible because he did not charge me to hook up the stove. He then proceeds to tell me about how they did not price the job correctly to begin with and cannot warranty stuff he does not charge for. Gary tells me he will check with his installer to inquire about how to handle this and get back with me by Monday. Gary called me back to explain once again that they he cannot afford to do too much for me, but will offer me my vanity countertop for $200 off. I politely asked about the possibility of just splitting the difference with me. I was shocked at his response by stating, ?This is a take it or leave it offer.? I was unable to speak to him as he would continually cut me off. He also would not give me his insurance information, therefore not sure if he has it. All I needed to hear was an apology (which did not happen) and I may have accepted his offer, but his tone and arrogance was a complete turnoff. He also explained to me that Andrew is hardly ever in the store, therefore it is very difficult for him to return calls. Andrew was readily available to me when I was considering the purchase of $4500 worth of countertops. When a business owner allows this type of excuse from his/her employees it should be a good indicator of the type of customer service future customers can expect. Again, anybody can do a good job. The character of a company will always show in how they handle customer service when expectations are not met.

Description of Work: We initially went to them for floors but found out they do so much more! We purchased engineered hardwood for our entire downstairs. This process included taking up tile and carpet and installing new baseboards. We also had them install granite counter tops in kitchen and guest bath. They also installed tile back splash in kitchen. They did a great job! Danielle worked very hard to get what we wanted and to make sure it was all done to our satisfaction. There was a couple of misunderstandings from workers on what time to arrive a couple of days but no harm as they were there shortly. Everyone we worked with did an outstanding job and we are very pleased. Prices were very good as well. We plan to utilize them for more work in the near future. They need to change their name as they do it all!

Description of Work: I hired It's Your Floor to replace carpeting and tile throughout part of our house. There were several problems with the crew that was being used and the supervisor who would drop in at the beginning of the day and sometimes at the end of the day. My contact at the store had informed that the supervisor was to be at all times. He also told me that I should address issues as they arose directly with the crew/supervisor. That was a little difficult because one crew could speak some English, the rest could not speak English and the supervisor was rarely there. Of the 3-4 crew that did the job, I would question the experience of all but one. There are uneven parts of the floor and if you walk barefoot, it is possible to "stub" your toe. Also, the bottom of the door frames were cut at least 2-3 inches from the floor which left huge gaps between the tile and the bottom of the door frame. My contact at the store actually came out and showed the crew how to build the frame back up so there would not be such a huge gap. They were able to repair one side of one door frame and then did no others. No other door frames were repaired/corrected. To correct one problem, the supervisor tried using sandpaper on the travertine, which left rub/scratch marks. They also ran out of travertine before the end of the job and tried to use a different color, which ended up being laid mostly in the laundry room. My contact at the store stated they would take care of the problems but were not willing to send another crew. The crew and supervisor would leave and not come back for hours. The last straw was when they returned at 8 p.m. one night to fix one of the problems. I had already contacted the store and told them I did not want the crew back in my house to fix anything. When the crew returned, I told them to leave and then told my contact at the store that I did not want any of the crew back in my house. My contact at the store did offer to make everything right but that it would have to be the same crew and not a new crew that would do the repair work. I am not sure of the exact date that service was performed but it was shortly before a Thanksgiving holiday. I have a date of 10/15/11 but could have been the year prior to that. I expected professional looking installation and was sorely disappointed with the final product. I would not use It's Your Floor again.

The crew which we had do our tile floors (see another review on this company here) arrived when we were told and did the job quicker than we were promised. They had the proper tool and equipment for the job and obviously knew what they were doing. The job as done just as well as the tile floor was a year ago. The crew was polite, professional and responsive to our questions and needs. They moved our furniture with care and worked well with us to properly position the furniture after the job was done. The sales staff at It's Your Floor are also very experienced and willing to work with you on choosing the flooring that is best for you. If I had just one criticism, it would be on the clean up after the job. There was some of the leveling cement on the paneling that had to be removed by us and some of the adhesive was not completely removed from the floor surface.

Description of Work: I had hardwood floors put in my living & dining rooms. The owner was very helpful and cam to measure the job himself. He said the job would take 19 boxes and billed it out @ 8.50 per foot, and there were other misc. charges. When the job was complete there was a box and a half of material left uninstalled so I thought there would be a discount for the labor on that amount, maybe $3.00 per SF. But there was no mention of it. So while the work was nearly perfect, my only recomendation to a person using these guys is... Get a bid in writing and check the SF for yourself!

I visited the store on a weekend and discussed flooring options with Mike. The customer service was pleasant and patient. I brought home some samples, then scheduled a time for Mike to come out to my home for measurements and further discussion. There was a miscommunication on our initial meeting date/time due to the the store accidentally noting the appointment in the installation scheduler instead of appointment scheduler. After the rescheduled meeting,I decided to purchase the floor materials and install from It's Your Floor. Mike was able to get the materials and crew booked for the following Monday. The crew was on time each day, courteous in every conversation, and agreeable to work with. My only criticism is that when I arrived home in the midst of the install one evening I found a cold drink sweating on my dining room table. It gave me a palpitation until I remembered there are other marks on the table from many years of use. Other than that the experience was very professional and uneventful. On the final day of install, I pointed out to the crew leader the white shoemold used against the woodgrain cabinetry was not acceptable and he quickly purchased, stained and installed darker shoemold to match in those few areas. Great responsiveness and willingness to make the final product just right.
Description of Work: Removed and disposed of carpet in entry, combined living/dining areas, master bedroom, vanity and closet (875 sq ft). Prepped the foundation surface and laid Adura vinyl tile. Finished with shoemold trim on baseboards.

THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE AND WE LOVED THE TILE. WE SELECTED A PRIVATE CONTRACTOR TO LAY THE TILE. SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. SELECTION OF DIFFERENT KINDS OF TILE WAS GREAT. WE RECEIVED THE TILE ON SCHEDULE AND THEY FACILITATED THE LOADING OF THE TILE.
Description of Work: REPRESENTATIVES OF THE BUSINESS CAME TO MY HOME TO MEASURE THE KITCHEN AND DINING AREA. THIS WAS DONE TO GET THE SQUARE FOOTAGE OF THE AREA THAT WE WANTED TILED. AFTER SELECTING THE SIZE AND STYLE OF TILE, THEY CALCULATED THE AMOUNT OF TILE THAT WOULD BE NEEDED TO COMPLETELY TILE FOR THE TWO ROOMS AND GAVE US A PRICE.
