He was never on time, did not start work till noon everyday, and did shabby work.

That guy is great. I really recommend him and I have recommended him to others as well so he's good. Everything was good. He was very prompt and responsive. He set expectations clearly as to what he will do and what will be dealt with within what he's offering for the price. Whatever expectations he set, he met so that is what I like and these guys actually did that. In fact, I recommended him to a couple of other people.

I called Luis on Wednesday and asked him for estimate. He was nearby and came quickly to my place, took measures and offered to pick up doors for me from Home Depot. He suggested he'll be able to do the work immediately and we agreed for Friday. When he came to my house I showed him damaged ceiling and mentioned that I already have a person to fix that but when he said his price, I had to cancel that person and accept Luis offer.
On Friday morning around 9:30 they came with doors and everything was done (and clean) by 2:30.

No problems

We had a leaking pipe leading into the house. Luis had to dig up the ground to find the leak. He then used top grade materials and put everything back so you could hardly tell the work had been done. We received an estimate from another plumber that was literally 4 times higher and I doubt they would have done the job as well!

Luis contacted me within just a couple of hours of me submitting the request on Angie's List.  We figured out that our home was on the other side of Houston from his location, but he advised that he'd still be able to do it.  I explained what we wanted done, and we communicated via calls & texts through-out that week.  We had to play with the scheduling so that someone would be home when he was available, but it was all done less than a week from the beginning to end.

Initially  I had a hard time getting in touch with Luis, but once I did we had scheduling conflicts and I had to wait a couple of weeks for him to come out to give me an esitmate. I was ok with waiting because none of my issues were not urgent.  I also agreed to wait because he assured me that he could do everything therefore I would not have to have more than one person come out to complete the work. He came we neogiated on a price then set an actual date to have the work done. On the day scheduled day to complete Luis arrive on time and completed the work very timely!  He was very professional and I have recommended him to a friend and she was pleased with the work he did for her. I have some additional work that I wll be contacting him to do for me in the near future.

Overall I give Luis and his crew a B+.  The end result looks nice.  I had the work done in a rental house.  However, It cost me a little more time in clean up in the end than I had bargained for and a toilet repair....

I wanted to upgrade my half bathroom and received a number of estimates.  One of the items I planned to change out was a marble tile floor.  Louis recommended that I have my floor polished by a professional rather than changing it out.  This took away revenue from him and saved me lots of money.  None of the other 7 contractors made this recommendation. Louis gave me his estimate and told me to call him when I'm ready to get started.  He showed up timely on the day we agreed.  He was very efficient, clean and completed the work  timely.  I am very pleased with the results and with the saved money.  I plan to contract with Louis in the future and will also recommend him to my friends.

Luis did a great job.  Very satisfied with the quality of work and the attention to detail.  He picked up the supplies needed for repairs, which made it very convenient.  His bid was less expensive that the other bids.  Pleased with overall experience.  Will recommend him to others, and use him the next time I have a need.

He was punctual and professional and we recommend him.

He did a great job for what I wanted.  I would probably use him again because I am planning to use him to get the patio roof done.  He does real good work.  He takes his time, but he lets me know what he is going to do and why he is doing it.  He will also tell me what he plans on doing and if it's what I want.  I say yes, no, or change something; he will work with me.  I was trying to put the door on the other side and he gave me reasons why it wouldn't work on the other side, which made a lot of sense.

The job went smoothly

The hiring process started off a bit rocky.  We played phone tag on a few occassions and had to reschedule our first two attempts at meeting due to weather and personal issues.  Once we finally found a good time to meet, we walked around the exterior of the home and both agreed on the specific items that would be fixed.  He provided me an estimate by the end of the following day and indicated that he could start work in a few days.  I shared with him the negative experiences I have had in the past with handymen, and we both agreed that all work to be completed would be put in writing and that the bulk of the payment would not be made until a final walk through had been completed by me or my wife.  I did provide him some funds up front for materials, but final payment was not made until we had a final walk around the home and agreed that all was complete.  Luis did a great job and took pride in the work.  I will definitely hire him again.  It was obvious he takes pride in his results and that says a lot to me.

After the work was done, you can not even tell any work was done on the bedroom ceiling. Great job.

He did a very good job and was very fast. He was on time, professional, and was the cheapest estimate I got. I'm intending on using him again.

We just bought our house and needed some random stuff done. He hooked up our washer and dryer and fixed a broken toilet. Also, the dryer had been vented into the garage so that had to be switched. He had to knock a hole in the exterior brick of the home to vent it outside. He also looked at our kitchen sink that we have been having problems with - and I really appreciated his honesty in letting us know that he didn't know water softeners too well (which we have hooked up) so he didn't want to mess with anything.
We paid $250 plus the price of the supplies. Luis was also so amazing and bought my husband some wood from Home Depot that he needed that wouldn't fit in our van.
He is coming back tomorrow to put up some ceiling fans and help my husband build a fence.
Luis was really a great guy. Very put-together and professional. I was really impressed and plan to give his name out to my friends.

Luis gave me an estimate for labor and additional cost for materials.  I was anxious for him to get the job done to finish repairs to show my home the next day.  He started late Monday and finished Tuesday morning. The estimate for scope of work and time to complete was spot on.  Very close to deadline but, he came through.
He repaired and textured walls in dining room and repaired cracks recently forming above door and ceiling.  He filled and painted each crack.  He then adjusted sticking  hall and garage doors and water sealed the back yard fence recently installed.
Overall I am happy with his work and ability to repair practically any maintenance problem.  You have to pin him down to a specific starting time and scope of work time because he is taking on new work all the time. 
I would recommend him in the future.  He is honest and hard working.  He is not the cheapest but is up front with you on what his labor rate will be for each job.

Luis is honest, hardworking and professional. He knows how to repair and correctly fix most anything you need done. I am ever so satisfied and pleased when he finishes the list of jobs I request of him. He is very innovative and gives the best solutions to get the job done. He quotes a fair price and works quickly and diligently to get the work done. I recommend him highly. I will definitely call him again.

Luis is very prompt, responsive and professional. He works quickly and performed many small jobs for me. When needed he did bring help for a larger job and the two men worked efficiently and quickly. As a single woman I felt that Luis was very respectful, fair and responsive to my needs. He was willing to do anything I asked of him no matter how big or small the job.

He is excellent. He is a hard worker. I’d highly recommend him. I found him when he knocked at my door and asked me if there was any work he could do for me. He does home repairs, painting interior and exterior, sheetrock, siding, fencing, tiles and plumbing. I am calling him back next year for tiling my bathroom. I like the way he works. He asks me to pick up the materials and he’ll go with me. Basically, I will be paying for the labor. He is honest and he’ll tell you the timelines. Sometimes the work gets delayed because of the weather, but that is understandable. He gives the price upfront and sticks to it. Personally, I think it was a God sent gift, when he showed up at my door. I gave him a simple project and he completed it that very day. I don’t think there is anything that he can’t do. However, when it comes to permit, I think it is a little difficult for him. He takes great pride in his work. He goes by referral and word of mouth publicity. He doesn’t give an advertisement in the paper. He used to work at a church for a long time. People, who came to the church, started asking him to do work for them. Later, he had decided to go on his own. He will call if he gets delayed. I have been very happy with his work. If he misses anything when he does the work, he’ll fix it for me. There are no hassles when it comes to him. He knows exactly what the work requires. He has an eye for the designs and other things. I will definitely use him again in the future.
