Footprints Bath and Tile McKinney

We were very pleased with the finished product of our installation; the quality was high, when we identified issues, the crew came back to make adjustments quickly. Unfortunately, the project timeline was pushed back throughout the process, so we were in a hotel for several extra days. That said, we've used other flooring companies too, and despite the timeline push, their quality of workmanship was high.

We were very pleased and satisfied with the way our new hardwood floors turned out. The sub contractor did an excellent job (John) and was pleasant, reliable and detailed. The only negative was that he was a 1 man crew (which we did not expect so be sure to ask ahead of time) and therefore the job took longer than we expected by a couple days. Overall a professional company and priced competitively.

The contractor worked with us after we had already made some poor decisions in purchasing our flooring. We worked together to come up with a wonderful end result.

The project was adequate, things looks pretty good but the finishing and polish was extremely poor. There was spaces between floor and wall, debris everywhere, gashes in the wall, carpet tucks came out after 1 week, etc. If you don't care about details, then these guys are fine. When it comes to finesse- to somewhere else

Very Professional outfit, they did everything they promised at the start of the project. They were also able to adjust and react to the few obstacles that came along the way. Very trustworthy, I gave them full access to house while I was away for a week. Would definitely use them again

Kate came out for a quote the day after we chatted and was able to give me an instant quote with extra incentive for a discount for a cash or check payment. Although the initial quote was comparable to other vendors, the cash/check discount sealed the deal. They were very responsive to email, great customer service, prompt and worked very quickly - finishing my project 2 days ahead of schedule. Couple dull spots in the finish, but that's to be expected - they promised to come back and fix anything later.

There's just too many issue with the floors to rate Footprints better. There's several boards that should not have been used due to damage, at least 5 boards don't even make it to the wall, that we easily see gaps under the molding. We have hundreds of spaces between boards and where the short ends but up to each other, with VERY noticeable gaps. The guy said not to worry because summer would bring humidity. Mind you, our house has humidifiers that were at 35% when they were installing in January. Also, make sure you have a 220V outlet for the sander...if not, you'll need to add. I was fortunate enough to get into a car accident because they didn't realize we didn't have the connection when they quoted the job; which meant I needed to stop everything to take care of it...car totaled. We had to clean-up stains on walls, not terrible. Another interesting note, the stain didn't look correct to me when they finished, which was proven when we had to fill some damage and it didn't match with what I selected. If this isn't enough reason to go elsewhere, best of luck to you. Oh, and you bet he asked me to give Footprints 5 stars (face palm)

The floors turned out great, however the installers were extremely careless around the house. The walls took a beating and there are sections that needed repaired and/or painted. They also had to replace a light switch that was broken during installation. If you have a nice house, I would suggest keeping a close eye on the laborers during installation.

Re-tiled entire shower. Looks amazing. Period.
