Alejandro Plaster and Stucco

initially hired for stucco repair work. And to give him credit, that stucco repair work appeared well done. We then decided to go ahead and get a quote for painting the entire outside of the house. Did so. While I was gone for a family emergency, the wife unfortunately decided to go with Mr. Edwin Gallardo company, Alejandro Plaster and Stucco, for the paint job. What a mistake. The first thing he did was scam another $1000 out of my wife while I was gone for work he said was not in the estimate. Absolutely false. He did not replace rotting 2 x 6s around the garage or above the garage back door, simply filling them sloppily with bondo. He did not replace the bent and wavy garage door seals. He did not power wash the house first; he simply painted over 13-year-old paint. There was insufficient filling of cracks and holes in the trim. There were multiple paint colors applied (yep, I paid extra for that), and the straight line cutting in between the colors is very, very sloppy. They splashed wood stain all over the front and back porch tiles. Apparently, while trying to clean it up, it just spread into the grout. A stain is also on the stone walls. He did not paint either of the back doors as agreed during the initial walk-around estimate. And there is more. We really were just trying to be open and cooperative and get him to come back and just finish, complete, or fix the job. We have tried at least four times to get him to come back out and deal with the issues. He has promised to be here after each call but has never shown up. Now he will not even respond. I see he has plenty of good reviews on this site. I wish we had gotten that kind of job or service. But apparently, knowing he was just dealing with the wife as I had to be gone, he figured he could get away with the bare minimum and scam her for a little extra cash as well. This company work is going to cost us a lot to repair and complete to a minimum standard. I took photos of the job. They were taken for potential legal purposes, but I am happy to share them to justify this complaint.

So far so good. Completed work on time. Came back for final inspection. Matched color to existing colors. Friendly and kept me informed during the entire process. Cleaned up when finished.

Stucco and paint of a patio expansion. Work started the morning after quite approved. 4 persons work on project and it was completed in 2days

The finished project looks great! The hardworking crew skim coated my existing stucco and overlayed all remaining areas of the wood siding with EIFS before installing the acrylic finish coat. They utilized scaffold to access elevated areas, covered sidewalks to protect them, and cleaned up the work area before requesting final payment.

They were very professional, took their time and didnâ t rush to finish the job. What I thought was a quick fix turned into a two day job. The work site looked better after they were done than before everything was clean and meticulous. Would highly recommend.

Repairing the drywall seemed to go OK. He promised cleanup which I was skeptical about. I had a right to be. Granted it was a little cleaner than most jobs like this. The following day we went to the rooms where the work was done. I vacuumed up about two cups of debris. Also, there was a trail of debris where he obviously drug his trash from the doors, across the balcony, down the stairs, across the deck , and across a concrete porch. There was also plaster in one of the AC units located below the balcony on the first floor - donâ t have a clue how that got there. As for painting? He took a sample of the existing paint for a match. Paint he got didnâ t match. He said it was still wet and when dry it would match. We may need to wait until next year for that to happen. So, obviously the paint didnâ t match. Ninety percent of the repair work was on the ceiling. No big deal, right? For some reason he also applied a lot of paint to walls. A lot of area on walls. This was done on walls not affected by any damage. Also there were a lot of random brush stokes on walls that made no sense at all. We will try to get a better match. If that doesnâ t work we will probably need to paint two rooms at least.
