Repairs went as promised. Quoted a reasonable change order that included replacing the water heater and replacing some vertical water supply piping. Gave recommendation for local wallboard repair contractor. Were careful with protecting interior of home while repairs underway.

I had a great experience with Katy Plumbing. They were on time, and I loved that they wore booties on their shoes to protect my carpet. We didn't know what was causing the leak, and Greg was able to diagnose the problem quickly. I liked that he brought a helper, Angel, because by working together they were able to fix the problem quickly. They also gave me a year's warranty on the work. The office emailed a picture of the technician, and his experience, and I liked that too.

It went well. I called around 5 pm on a Friday night and a team came out by 6 pm, reviewed the damage, provided and estimate and completed the repair by 7 pm.

1. Called - requested help and technician arrived within 90 minutes - diagnosed and repaird the leak within 15 minutes. Saved us a waterless night - kept water damage to absolute minimum. Very satisfied. 2. Called - described problem - received acceptable quote - authorized work. Technician arrived within 2 hours - replaced water heater control head - briefed us on its operation - started heater successfully and left. This visit save us from replacing whole water heater and substantial expense. Technician was neat - professional - knowledgable and friendly. I will use them again as needed. Very satisfied.

I was very pleased with their service. They were able to come out quickly, and I really liked that they emailed me a picture and information about the specific plumber who was coming to my house, so that there was no question that was legitimate when he arrived. The plumber who came out was prompt and respectful. We had one main issue and 2 smaller issues that we wanted addressed. The main issue was water leaking through the ceiling from the 2nd floor. He was able to quickly determine that the flange around an upstairs toilet was leaking and this is what he repaired. This repair was thoroughly and quickly resolved. The 2nd issue we were concerned about, he was able to determine was not a problem and that we did not need to do anything about it. The last issue was the kitchen faucet not shutting off properly and dripping. He said that he could fix it for us for about $100, but also stated that it was an simple repair and that we could easily get the parts from Home Depot or the like if wanted to fix it ourselves. This is what we chose to do, and he was absolutely correct. His honesty concerning the ease to self-repair the problem saved us money and we greatly appreciate that.

Greg is the name of the plumber, had serviced twice. For this second one, some other ridiculous company wanted to rip me, and would charge $4000 for a water leak, they diagnosed to be underground. Greg came in, and found the water leak point, and charged $39 (not the fixing). I cann't be more satisfied with their professionalism and good attitude and being honest. Even their service is not cheap, but certainly the most trustworthy one.

They completed the job in a very good amount of time. They had to go pick it up because they weren't sure what size I wanted. I was able to get a senior discount out of it and they did a great job. They cleaned up very well after themselves as well. Greg is the man I dealt with and he is very personable and just an all around nice guy.

Things went great with Katy Plumbing. Honest company. I had a leak at my water meter. Thinking I had the leak from meter to the house I called a plumber. They came out, assessed the problem, just to let me know it was on my neighbors side of the meter, running to the street, and in turn, the cities responsibility. They didn't even charge me for the service call. Very reputable company.I would highly recommend Katy Plumbing again.

They have been here when they say they are going to be here and they get the job done. They are reasonably price and not outrageous like some of the other companies in the area. They are good! They always send out coupons for $25.00 off any job and they actually take the $25.00 off at the end of the statement. Whenever I need any plumbing work done I will call this company in the future.

My experience with Katy Plumbing was first rate from the phone call to the finished job! I called in the morning and was given a time the same afternoon. Our kitchen faucet was leaking, I bought a new faucet, watched the Delta online videos on how to install, and then chickened out and listened to the drip for a month or so before calling this Angie's list plumber. The service person, Greg, showed up on time, checked the faucet, gave us an estimate and got to work. He even put on disposable paper shoe covers so he wouldn't scratch the floor. Our house is over fifty years old and this is the third faucet in the kitchen. The Delta faucet I got assumed a modern setup with compression fittings. These are the ones do-it-yourselfers can use without soldering. Greg had to use a converter fitting to finish the install. So it was lucky I didn't try to install the faucet myself or I would have gotten stuck since that part wasn't covered in the Delta install video. So we have a new faucet that looks great int he kitchen, a great job by Katy Plumbing and Greg, no more leaking, and an opportunity to throw out some of the junk that accumulated under the sink!!

My experience from my initial phone call to the company was great. The service was scheduled the same day I called, arrived on time, and very professional. I received an explanation of what could fix the problem with a quote after. Once I decided to continue the service was completed and problem solved. I would defiantly use this company for any problems in the future.

The work was performed in our second house. The kitchen had a problem with hot and cold water. They fixed everything and we were real pleased with their work. The price was reasonable for what they had to do.

After a series of water leaks in our 1980-era house due to rotted pipes, we decided to get some quotes on repiping the entire house and replacing all of the old water heaters (three total). Don Dugal from Katy Plumbing Company came out and quoted us the best price out of the quotes we received. He explained everything to my wife who met with him and handled everything, including how much cutting into the walls he would need to do and how long it would take. His explanation was dead on, and they finished the job in slightly less time than he estimated. When you replace every pipe in a house, there is no way around cutting holes in the walls and ceiling. I was extremely impressed with how precise the Katy Plumbing team was with their cuts and how few they had to make. It’s no fun finding out you have to repipe your house, but Don and his team made the experience as painless as possible.

Katy Plumbing was scheduled for 11 - 1, but called to come early because they had a cancellation. I received the call around 8:45 a.m., told them they could come on, and was told they would be on their way. Plumber arrived at 10:20 a.m. I showed him the parts I had, (2 cartridges and a shower head) and he said one of the cartridges would work, but the other he would need to use one off of his truck. He began to disassemble the master bath shower. It was left disassembled, and he moved on to the other shower. He came back and gave me an estimate of $385. (That was with ME supplying one of the cartridges and the new shower head.) I discussed with him, and told him it seemed really high for replacing two cartridges and replacing one shower head. I noticed the invoice said "rebuild" shower valve, and asked him if that was different than simply replacing a cartridge. He replied that it was about the same thing. I asked why it cost so much to replace a cartridge, and he replied that it required a special tool and sometimes they were hard to get out. I went ahead and approved the work. After working about an hour, he reported that he had lost a tool, and would need to leave and be back in about 20 minutes to get the tool that he needed. He left around 11:40 and was gone for 1/2 hour. He worked for a while longer, and It appeared he was about finished, and he went out to turn the water back on. When the water came back on, the shower came on full force. The shower door had been left open, and the shower has a wheelchair accessible ramp entrance,so the water was pouring out into the floor. I reached in to turn the shower off, and that is when I realized it WAS in the "off" position, but had been installed incorrectly. I grabbed towels to mop up the floor, and told the plumber when he came back in. He was courteous and said he could fix it. He ultimately finished replacing both shower cartridges and one shower head. He left about 1:30 p.m. (It took 3 hours.) He did put shoe covers on, but would go and come outside with the shoe covers on. I tested the showers, and they appear to be working correctly.

This was a very short engagement and our first experience with Katy Plumbing. The work was done and everything seems fine.

They did a good job for me. They're very professional, came on time, are very responsible, and they care. I give them high ratings and will continue to use them in the future.

We hadn't used our pool heater in many months because I dreaded the process of trying to find a good plumber to do the repair. Thank goodness for Angie's List! I called several pumbing companies but unfortunately they were unable to come out to do the job right away. I had wanted to surprise my husband by having the work done in time for the weekend so that we could enjoy the pool and take advantage of the warmer weather. Katy Plumbing said they could have a technician come out to my house the very next day - in time for the weekend so that I could surprise my husband with a pool heater that worked! They also said there would be NO charge for an estmimate, and NO trip charge! I really appreciated that! One I had booked the service call, the company emailed me a photo and bio of the technician who was coming out to do my service call. That was really thoughtful. It made me feel comfortable knowing who I was going to be opening the door to the next day, and what his experience level was. Mark was on time and very polite. He assessed the job and gave me a written estimate for the work. The company also had a coupon for Angie's List members, which was a plus. He didn't have all the parts he needed to complete my job, so he called his office and his boss drove all the way out to my house to deliver it so that the job could be completed that same day. Mark's work was meticulous and thorough. His attention to detail was first rate. He never rushed, or did less than a perfect job on the repair. He made sure that I was completely satisfied with his work. I asked a lot of questions as he worked and he answered every one of them politely and completely, making sure I understood his explanations. He said to call if I had any questions. That night I thought I smelled gas, and I was concerned that there might have been a smal leak somewhere in the line, so I called Katy Plumbing the next morning (Saturday) and they sent Mark right back out the same day, even though he had a full day of jobs already scheduled! He checked his work carefully and confirmed that there were absolutely no leaks. I felt so reassured knowing they stood by their work, they didn't ignore my concerns, and they took the time to make sure that they didn't inadverdently miss anything. My only negative comment is that I thought the repair cost was too high for the scope of the job. I mentioned that to Mark and he explained that the materials he was using were more expensive. He also gave me a small additional discount since he finished the job more quickly that he had originally thought it would take to complete. It seemed like a very simple repair to me, so I thought it would only run about $300, instead it cost me $500, with the Angie's List coupon and the additional discount. So even though I think the price was a bit steep for the job, the quality of the work Mark did, and the fact that they came out (on very short notice) the next day to do the job, and then stood by their work - for me it was more than worth it. I'm very glad I called Katy Plumbing! I highly recommend them!

2 men came right away on a Saturday. They took off their shoes. They were very friendly! And professional. Fixed the faucet and gave me advice on a toilet problem. I'd hire them again! Best plumbers ever!!

Discovered a leak in the attic by mark on ceiling. Husband checked attic and found leak. Called Katy plumbing and they came out in two hrs. Gave info on phone about Sunday call out fee. Service man called before arrival repair was complete in 45 minutes.

Katy Plumbing was professional and prompt. We had to reschedule several times, but the office workers were friendly and accommodating. When the schedule was finalized, Katy Plumbing arrived on time, did a total rework of the pipes connecting the new sink to the new garbage disposal and got everything up and running beautifully. They have done smaller jobs for us before and have always been professional and prompt. We would definitely call them again.

When they came to the house, they went right to work and got the job done with no mess. Great job.

I had multiple issues working with this company. Initially, I had a leak in the pipes entering my house, I called and schedule an appointment on a thursday for the next day. I was given a window of between 2 and 6 for that friday. The plumber did not show or call, I called the company at 6 to find they could not make it and had to reschedule for the following monday. They did come monday and performed 1 and 1/2 services.Service 1 was to fix the leak - they dug up the pipe in my flower bed area to fix the leak, but did not take care to try and keep the flower bed in tact.Service 1/2 was to rebuild my shower handles. Upon removing the original ones, they found that the stems were stripped, and stated that they needed to replace the stems. As this service cost $229, and is titled as a rebuild the parts should be included. The plumber did not have the parts with him, so he said he would put a bandaide fix in place and order the parts and call to schedule the repaire (I would pay for the parts, but there would be no labor charge). It is now Jan 25, and after getting the run around the plumber finally called back to state he had the parts ( which cost $55 and that I need to pay an additional $289 to have them installed.

They do excellent work and they use very good products. We had a small leak on one of the toilets they put in and they came out immediately to fix that at no charge. We've used them in the past and we would use them again in the future.
