Arrived on time, in neat clean uniform, introduced himself and went right to the softener. He tested the water, found it to be excellent and then refused to charge for the service call!!

Set an appointment for an estimate. Forest showed up as scheduled,walked the project with me and developed a quote. I called back a few days later and they scheduled the job at my convenience. The crew showed up on time, completed the work in the allotted time and presented a bill that matched the original estimate. Quality work, friendly crew, professional service.

The operator was very professional and scheduled a visit quickly. They arrived timely and resolved the problem. All was done with the upmost professionalism. I will definitely use this provider again if needed.

We discovered a leak coming from the water heater. Upon inspection, the hot water side pipe was rusted and black and clearly moist. I called them at 8 AM and the lady who answered the phone was super friendly and helpful. She said she had a cancelation and could fit me in immediately. They asked me for my email and sent me a bio on Daniel who would be coming out to perform the service. He was there by 9 AM and got straight to work and had the estimate in about 15 min. He completed the job in about an hour. So very satisfied customer here.

The person that handles the customer phone calls and scheduling does a superb job. Jason the plumber was professional, courteous and helpful, very informative, very knowledgeable, and worked hard at a brisk pace. If he is typical of their employees no plumbing company has a better team. It was evident that the company provides its plumbers with a truck that has all the standard tools and equipment needed to do their work, but they also seem to have the current technological tools need and equipment for the more difficult tasks. It is important and essential for to me to know what is wrong and why, what are the options to fix a problem, and what it will cost. This company more than met my expectations. I will use Katy Plumbing again without a doubt. and I will recommend them to family relatives and friends.

Great job! Jason showed up on time. Very professional. Quickly remove the old faucet and install the new one. Clean up after the job is done. Always wear shoe cover inside the house. Highly recommend!

Jason arrived on time, immediately put on protective shoe covers and went to check on the situation. Had to lift and reset toilet, inspect floor flange. Had to replace the PVC floor flange. The area around the toilet was completely cleaned up and the space between the toilet and floor re-caulked. He left the bathroom spotless.

They did a great job with an uncooperative manufacturer which appeared only to want to reduce any expense it could. The technician called me early Monday morning and he already had spoken to the manufacturer's rep on the situation but they still would not approve the repair at that time. Upon returning on Monday Katy Plumbing brought the parts they thought they needed since the manufacturer required a call from the plumber with once of its technicians while on site and troubleshooting. Long story short, since they were proactive and had the needed parts further (unnecessary) delays were avoided. Otherwise, they would have had to go to a supplier for the parts and delay the repair. Terrific job, showed up on time, very professional at a reasonable price and their office staff was extremely helpful in making this inconvenient situation as least worrisome as possible. Based upon this situation, they will now carry some parts from this manufacturer to address issues such as I experienced. Definitely use them again.

Arrived in time window they said they would. Fixed the leak in a timely manner. Would use again. Cost is after $20 Angie's list coupon. Only complaint was that they called to say that they were on their way, and because they had my address wrong, they took a little longer than they said, but they called me to let me know and to get the address right, no big deal.

Ron showed up within the window of time that was initially given when I called earlier in the morning. He then looked at the problem areas and gave us an estimate for the entire job, breaking down each area to be worked upon. He and his assistant, Calray then proceeded to address the outside main water pipe, which had a leaking shut-off valve. When this was finished, they went to work on the leaking pipe under the sink, pointing out that the disposal was cracked. While no leaks were imminent, we opted to replace the disposal at this time. Ron noticed that there was an electrical issue regarding the dish washer and disposal, and recommended that we contact an electrician to resolve this problem. They proceeded to replace the leaking pipes and the disposal. This is an older house and we appreciated that the electrical issue was brought up. We've since contacted the electrician. We found both Ron and Calray to be friendly and courteous, explaining what they were doing whenever we asked, and getting the work done in a very reasonable pace. We will likely use the services of Ron and Katy Plumbing in the future. We opted to go with Katy Plumbing's service plan, in anticipation of some future work that we plan to do. I usually don't like "service plans", but found this plan to be the more cost effective way to go at this time.

The plumber, Forrest, examined the existing faucet to see the problem. He fixed it rather than installing 2 new faucets. It works perfectly, and it I was able to return the 2 replacements that I bought. Thanks so much for your prompt arrival, the great service, and overall positive experience.

Mark evaluated the problem and offered me a very fair price for repair, but I decided that I wanted a more water-efficient (and NEW) toilet, so he got the materials delivered and the toilet installed in record time. Then he inspected the rest of the house for problems & discovered my very geriatric hot water heater, which is not installed to code. That's work I'll be having done in future and by Mark! All in all, I was very happy with the service and professionalism of the Katy Plumbing's folks, and they are now on my speed dial.

IAppointment was made over the phone on Friday evening and Kurt arrived on Saturday near the beginning of the appointment window. I described the problem. Kurt investigated the problem and made the best decision to fix my plugged drain. I felt like like he made a good diagnosis, fixed the problem, was clean and a dang pleasant guy to boot. Earned my trust for the future.

Charlie was very professional and did a great job with the repair. We will for sure use The Katy Plumbing Company again for our plumbing needs.

The person answering the phone was friendly and efficient, but a bit perky for my taste. An appointment was made for the next day. They called early the next day to see if they could come before the scheduled time frame. Daniel arrived about 30 minutes later. He was courteous and professional. He wore shoe coverings in the house. He looked over the work to do and gave an estimate in about 15 minutes. He offered a discount if we signed up for a service agreement, but he didn't hard-sell it. He was finished with the work in about an hour. He gave us a tip on what we could have done to complete the faucet installation ourselves.

I noticed water coming out of my meter box in my front yard and called Katy Plumbing. They were here within an hour ready to solve my problem. The yard around the meter box was dug up and water was pumped out of the box. The leak was soon found, repaired and tested for other leaks (there were none) within and hour and a half of their arrival. Jason then noticed my emergency shut off valve was defective and he suggested replacing the gate valve with a new, superior brass ball valve and he let me know in advance exactly what the charge would be. I agreed to add that item to their invoice and the work was done including re-wrapping the exposed pipe with foam material for cold weather protection. All in all, the total experience was one of the best I have had with craftsmen in the Houston area. It is also comforting to know the work was done correctly, at a fair price and parts and labor guaranteed for a full year. We do no mind paying a little bit more for professional service. The discount($124) we received more than offset the cost of the USA, which is not included in the cost of service amount above.When we need plumbers, Katy Plumbing will get our call.

The plumber was on time, courteous and professional. He evaluated the situation and gave me his experienced opinion, which wasn't the one that gave him work. Honesty means I will use this company for future plumbing needs.

The job was done on time. Daniel the technician showed up at the time he said he would over the three day job and always kept us apprised of what stage they were in with the work. Daniel was always polite and respectful.

When I called, they were actually able to send someone out in just a few hours. The rep, Forrest, showed up right in the middle of the scheduled window. He was very nice and went to investigate the source of the leak. After some time, he explained that the water pipes looked to be in good shape and his assumption was that the leak was coming from the roof. He tested and verified that there was in fact an issue with the vents on the roof. Forrest explained that such a leak is something that needs to be addressed by a roofing service. Next I asked that he look at the drainage from my air conditioner which had been dripping from the secondary line. I had made some effort to clear this out myself a couple weeks prior but seemingly to no avail, though the dripping had seemed to stop just a day or two ago. After looking, Forrest said that it seemed to have cleared up right now and it's draining well. I asked if there is something that he did that he can charge me for and he said "no". I even asked if I could just have him blow out the air conditioning drain line, just so I could pay him something for his time, but he said that he would rather not charge me for something that didn't really need to be done. Needless to say, I really appreciate such honest service and the next time I need a plumber, this company will be on the top of my list.

Two plumbers arrived on time, were friendly and worked efficiently. I renewed the preferred service agreement for $69.00 (which I did not include in the cost mentioned above) with them which will give me preferred pricing on work done during the next year. I have used them before and have been satisfied with their work. I would use them in the future. Any plumbing work is expensive, and I'd rather pay a bit more to get a high quality job done. It's worth it.

Very nice lady took my details over the phone. Was able to come to my house when I was free. Got call ahead of time to let me know when they would be arriving. Got email also with picture of the person coming. Charlie and Jose arrived and examined my shower. Gave me the price to fix it which I agreed to. Got to work and finished the job very quickly. Both men were smartly dressed and polite. Wore covers over their shoes when in my house. Would definitely use again!

We called a 24 hour line late on Sunday night for a running toilet that we could not get water turned off for. Was told no appointments for Mon. but would call if any cancellations. They called us back early on Mon. morning and said someone could come out and would be there shortly. Kurt G. and his assistant showed up about 30 min later. Kurt looked at the toilet and said a total rebuild would be necessary, as well as a new angle stop. The water would not turn off at the angle stop so he went out to shut off the water at the valve outside. Turns out that one would not work either, so he had to turn off the water at the meter. While assistant started working on toilet, Kurt started a whole house safety inspection. While doing the safety inspection he showed me things that needed to be addressed at some point but not putting any pressure on me to have him do it at the time. I did have him fix a slow draining bathtub and change out a nipple on the water heater that was causing water to come out brown. When the work was done we sat down at the kitchen table and he went over all work that was done and the price. He also went over things that were pointed out in inspection and gave me prices if we decided to have the work done. He also went over the USA Program they offer for discounted work and we thought it was such a good deal, we signed up for the program. Over all it was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a plumbing company. They put on booties when they entered the house and the work was done quickly and efficiently. All areas were clean when they left and we got a one year warranty on parts and labor. Kurt was very knowledgeable and explained things thoroughly. I would recommend this company especially Kurt G. To any of my family or friends. I will request Kurt on all other services needed. Thank You for a totally stress free experience.

I would use them again. They did a good job. They used a higher grade pipe so that tree roots and stuff won't break into it and they secured the fitting so they shouldn't come loose. The landscaping had to cut through and we did remove 2 bushes out of that, but that was to be expected. It wasn't really their fault. When they were done, you would never know that they were there. They were very professional and for the work done, they gave us a fairly good price.

Everything went perfectly. Called on 7/3 to make an appointment for 7/7 and they actually showed up early. A call first would have been nice since I was still in my PJs, but not a big issue for me. Performed the work in a timely manner. What I really like about Katy Plumbing is they have all of their prices pre-quoted on an Ipad of what you are going to pay before any work is performed. They even did a couple of little extra things for the leak under the sink and did not pay any more money then what was quoted before work began. Definitely will be using this company in the future.
