Creative Blinds

When we were choosing our window coverings in the Creative Blinds store, we were told if we met a minimum number of windows, we would receive a 10% discount. We definitely met the quantity requirement, but our quote did not include the 10% discount. When we inquired about receiving it, she told us that the 10% discount was only if we had purchased a certain product type (not shutters). So she gave us a much smaller discount instead. Also, we were initially told we would receive a 3% discount if we paid with cash or check instead of credit; that discount was actually only 2% when we requested it. We were told it would be 3 weeks before installation for the blinds and 8 weeks for the shutters. However, there were several delays on the install of both the shutters and the blinds. After expressing dissatisfaction with the quality of the shutters, the manufacturer sent out their regional salesman who adjusted them to somewhat improve the appearance (not correct) and ordered one of the shutters to be repaired. When the installer arrived to take the one to be repaired, I showed him two additional ones that were even in worse shape, so he took those as well. When those were re-installed, they had improved, but still had the problem of the louvers not closing all the way. The installer asked me to sign what I thought was his work order. This paper (unbeknownst to me) said that I was happy with the quality of my shutters. Seven (7) months elapsed from the initial deposit and the installation completion date of the shoddy shutters that are such a disappointment and embarrassment. Using Creative Blinds was a whopping $9000 mistake.
