Terminix - Houston -Termite & Pest Control

I haven't shopped around much for costs, but they are a little on the pricey side but they seem a very responsive. They are very thorough and they come in with their "bunny suits" and they are really mindful of making sure that they don't mess up the house, they are very polite and very clean. I was pretty impressed when we first had them out. They have a very knowledgeable staff also. The only deterrent is that I do think they are on the pricier side than the other people we were looking at. They were $30 to $40, and these guys are $75.00 a quarter. I think they come out once a quarter, but you can schedule as many times as you want if you have a problem.

They do a good job and show up when you need them. They give you a courtesy call to remind you of your appointment and offer good customer service. They will do the exterior spraying even if you are not home.

We were very pleased because they got rid our termites. They have been really great about following up. They are actually coming back tomorrow to make sure that we are still termite free. I thought it was a little expensive, but it did work.

They do a satisfactory job...no complaints.

I would say that they do a good job. We have used them for the entire time that we have lived here.

I have been with them for 40 years in two different states. I am very pleased with them. My overall experience with them has been good.

They give you a range of a few hours. I would rather them tell me when they are going to be there. Some times they don't call. I liked that they were in uniform for the job.

The last time they were out, it cost us a bundle as we had termites. They were excellent on their service.

The technician that came out to begin with was great. I did not like the pushiness of the termite control sales person. I called the company and filed a complaint against him.

I'm not completely satisfied with their service and don't know that I would recommend them. I will continue to use them as I have a contract with them.

Let's lead with the fact that the rep would not honor the Angie's List discount. That's not the worst of it, however. This was a truly horrible experience. The guy called the day before to say he would be late to our appointment, which had a 2 hour window, but could not tell me when he might arrive. He also told me bluntly that maintenance plans came below active infectations on their priority list and that they had all the business they needed. Great for them - huh? You (the reader) and I are both wondering why I kept the actual appointment. I suppose because I was already planning to be home for other resons. Upon arrival (only 15 minutes after the end of the window), the rep pushes again - hard - to make me say I have seen indoor signs of an active infestation. He never inspected the inside of the house. He inspected and measured the yard and gave me a 4-figure quote to rid my house of active infestation - all the while saying he did not see evidence that we have termintes in the house (although, since he didn't look - who knows)! He did not want to put the quote in writing (but did when pushed to), did the hard sell on me, and when that didn't work he moved into scary sales tactics ("no one wants to see the contract; when they hear they have termites all they want to know is when can you come," followed by stories of termites who can eat an entire house in 3 months) - all the while commenting on how I was home alone, was I alone every day, what was my schedule, etc., etc. The bad story goes on, but you've heard enought, right? The rep was Bill B. from their Bryan office (yes, I live in the Hosuton area). This review pertains to my experience with Terminex; I have asked Angie's List to re-catagorize this review under the correct company.

One thing I love about them is it's the same guy every time so I know him and my dog knows him.

They are very good. I have no complaints and I have used them for many years.

I think their service is ok at best. Their work inside of my home isn’t as thorough as I’d like it to be, and their punctuality also isn’t as good as I’d like it to be.

I called them and within 2 hours they were out and began to tear down the wall and repair it. There were no hassles. I will alway use terminix.

They came in and did the job. They then tried to sell us recurring services. I didn't appreciate that.

I’m on a maintenance contract with them. Their overall service is great. They do check-ins and follow ups to make sure that the service is satisfactory.

They are really good. I always pay a year in advance, so if I see anything they always come out whenever I need them. I like to get the same person, Gabriel, each time, so the treatments are consistent.

They have kept my termites from coming back. I've had them for probably 12 years or so. They come out on a regular basis and I haven't had any kind of bugs or termites. I don't remember what I paid but it seemed kind of pricey.

I was on an annual contract. They came out every quarter. They did the job. The price was about average. I am not under the contract but if possible, I will use them again.

Everything turned out really good. We don’t have any problems with bugs. The crew is always very helpful and friendly. I would use this company again in the future.
