It went well. They guy was thoughtfull cheerfull, good natrued and wanted to do a good job. He finished within the scope of his time, had a good conversation and was a good deal.

It was excellent. They were very professional and on-time. They cleaned up after themselves. I was very satisfied.

We originally hired Mr Bush to find and repair a plumbing leak in our bathroom, but we were so impressed with his service, we hired him to practically overhaul our 1st floor! He installed a bamboo floor in our bedroom, refinished our front door, repaired some very badly damaged drywall and trim in bathroom and bedroom and repair the source of the leak we've had intermittently for more than 4 years. He also pressure washed our patio, and it looks so good, I can hardly believe it's the same deck. I didn't realize how dirty it was until he cleaned it (and he even cleaned our walkway!). Sheldon takes pride in his work, and he works hard to get things right. He has come on Saturday, Sunday, evenings and early mornings to accommodate us, and even our 3 yappy dogs have taken a liking to him (surely that is a good sign!). He communicates everything he plans to do thoroughly and has been reasonable, frugal and trustworthy. Our bedroom flooring is beautiful, the deck is bright and cleaner than when it was new, and our formerly ratty front door is a beautiful, even shade of mahogany. Even though we have paid Sheldon in full, and the plumbing/bathroom job was completed to our satisfaction- a week later, we noticed some wetness in the grout....I called Sheldon and he came over in less than an hour, at no charge, and broke out one of the tiles to see what's what. There was some moisture under there- even though we had left the wall open for a whole week (at our request) after the plumbing repair just to be sure there was no further leak (there wasn't). Now it's dry again. I must say, this has been an intermittent problem since we moved in almost 5 years ago, and it has all of us stymied, but Sheldon has worked diligently and in good faith at a reasonable price to fix this, and we are all perplexed as to the source of the moisture (evil spirits?). Now that the corner tile is off, the area is dry as a bone. Go figure. Sheldon has actually offered to stand by his work and fix this at no further charge, but he has been more than fair with us, and we knew this wasn't going to be straight forward, so of course we will pay him for his work.

He's very good. It gave me more room in my bedroom.

I bought my laminate wood floor on 12/31/2013 from another company. I was told at the time that my laminate would be delivered the last week of January and could schedule install for February. On 01/03/2013 I emailed Sheldon (I had used him before for tile and caulk work) in reference to a quote for the demolition and install of the laminate. I heard from him a week later and he stated that he would do the job for $1,675 and it would take about two days. I told him at the time that was great and I would be in contact depending on when the floor arrived. I contacted Sheldon again close to the end of January and asked if he would give a discounted price if I moved the furniture and removed the carpet myself. That way all he would have to do was float and install the laminate. We settled on a price of $1200 under the condition that I "helped" with install since he normally works alone. We eventually scheduled the install for 2/06/2013. On that date I had the carpet ripped up and the furniture removed and in a u-haul in my driveway. Sheldon arrived and immediately began stating that this was a four day job and was bigger than he anticipated. He then began measuring the square footage and claimed the area was 700 square feet. He stated he would do the job for $2,000 and the job would take four days, even after the work I had already done. While he was still at my home I contacted two companies, one of which is BB A + and asked for a quote to install 700 square feet (in case it was 700 and not 670). One company quoted $1000 and another $1,175 and both said it was a two day job at the most. I advised Sheldon of this and he left my house without so much as a word. The company I hired did the floating for free and I paid $1,175 and the job was done in one day!!! SHELDON IS WAY OVERPRICED ! He charges 2.50 a square foot for install and I got a reputable company with insurance and a Better Business rating to install for 1.75 a square foot. Oh and they measured the square footage and it was 680.

Sheldon Bush was an absolute pleasure to work with! We were in the process of a move but needed repairs done to our current home to get it ready to put on the market. Working with Sheldon was like hitting the jackpot. He is a jack of all trades. He completed some trim carpentry repairs initially for us that also involved some paint work. We were so pleased with that job we asked him if he could replace our deck in the backyard. He immediatley got to work on that for us. We were so pleased with that job we asked him if he had experience with hard wood floors. Sure did! Our floors have never looked better. Overwall, we could not be more happy with his professionalism, service and the quality of his work. It was such a hectic time for us with the move but Sheldon made what we thought was going to be the most stressfull aspect of it all easy. Thank you Sheldon. We will be sure to contact you again for any of our future home repairs.

It took a little long to get in touch with him. He is very professional and skilled. He worked quickly and didn't leave any messes. He is a very nice and easy going person.

Mr. Bush replaced the rotten floor board in our bathroom with a brand new one. The installation was very complete and looks great. The old board was rotten from water damage and had to be completely replaced.

Both showers had old mildewed cauik that had to be replaced. Both showers look new again. He also replaced the caulking around the comodes and vanity areas. I was pleased with his work and would call him again.

Mr. Bush showed up on time and went straight to work. I explained to him that the caulk currently in the kitchen and master bath was my work and I was not happy with it. The caulk now looks great since he removed my work and did his own. He even showed me techniques I can use in the future when caulking. He was at our home for several hours working and the cost was unbelievable. I spoke to him about a possible future project for a backyard deck and later that night he emailed me pictures of a current deck project he was finishing. Very nice guy and would definitely use again.

I was very disappointed as I hoped to use him again and refer him to friends. That won't happen now.

I called Shelton Bush and we made an appointment to have two bathtubs and two toilets caulked. Sheldon arrived right on time and looked over what needed to be done. He revmoved the old caulking and caulked what he removed and also other areas that needed attention. Shelton was very professional and neat and I would certainly use him again for any other handy-man chores that I needed.

Sheldon was quick to respond and was very timely and punctual. He provided very good service and professionalism.

Mr. Bush arrived on time and was polite and respectful. As my mother was overseeing the work, his respectfulness was a BIG deal to me, and make him stand above many service providers. He was professional and tidy in doing the work, and he did such a great job for such a low price. I would highly recommend him, and I plan to call him for more work in the future.

I bought a coupon for SB Home Maintenance. The coupon entitled us to 3 hours of caulking and grout work in our kitchen and bath. We were able to schedule a convenient time for Sheldon to come by. Sheldon was on time and prepared to work immediatley. He spent roughly 15 minutes looking over the work areas and suggesting the most appropriate colors and materials to use on the 3 different surfaces he needed to work on. He performed the work in the time alloted. The work returned all 3 areas to their original finish. I would recommend Sheldon to others and plan to use him for other projects.

The price quoted ended up being to high, three times the big deal price.

He was called out to revive/restore an old bathroom, both the tub and tile grout and caulking. He worked consistently for several hours scraping and cleaning and ultimately recaulking, both with silicone caulk in the wet areas and sanded caulk in the dry areas. He was more than willing to continue working until I was satisfied, even though we ran a little over time. I was very pleased at the improvement.

Sheldon did a good job scheduling the work to be done. Helped with scheduling around Thanksgiving holiday. Came on scheduled time and organized the project, including the extra project in the attic. He did the work in less than a couple of hours and did so in a very respectful manner. We will absolutely feel good about calling him for other home repairs.

Sheldon Bush did a terrific, professional job. We had an area of floor tile with crumbling grout which he repaired for us, as well as caulking our master bathroom shower. We had some minor areas to repair in another bath and in the kitchen as well. Mr. Bush pointed out an area I had missed--he has a sharp eye for detail! We appreciated the Big Deal he offered, and received excellent service as a result!

Sheldon Bush answered my call the first time I called him to schedule an appointment. I had purchased a special deal through Angie's List for 3 hours of grout/caulk work in a kitchen and/or bathroom. We made the appointment for the following Monday morning. Sheldon arrived on time and we discussed what I wanted him to to do. He showed me pictures of other work he has done and described what types of home repairs and custom work he does. I was pleased to know about his skills and did not think he was bragging as another reviewer said. Sheldon is in business for himself and if he doesn't sell his skills, who would? We got along great and I found him to be very personable. Sheldon got the best caulk match he could at Home Depot and did the caulking. He also caulked along the baseboard/tile on the floors where old caulk had cracked. We had some settling damage that caused the ceiling and tile in the shower to separate slightly, so he repaired that as well. He also removed and glued the shelf back in and recaulked that. He was here for about 4 hours and I think he did a very nice job. My husband was pleased as well. I would definitely hire Sheldon Bush again. In fact he gave me quote on removing the carpet and installing hardwoods up the stairs. We will most likely do that after the holidays.

I had signed up for the special on bathroom caulking. When I called, he was wrapping up another job. He was very polite and and called back when had opening to talk. We discussed in detail because I wasn't sure if it would be just basic caulking or more extensive..concerned about mold behind tile. We discussed the area to be done..he asked questions, to be sure he had all the right tools needed, with him and we set a time that worked for us. We also talked about other things I would like to have done around the house , some he said he could do that day..put in a new bathroom fan, an under sink kitchen filter, and a separate shower head filter..( he would look at what I had already bought and the area and give me an estimate for labor, if I would like him to complete.) The day Sheldon was coming, he called because he was delayed and I appreciated the call because it gave me time to take care of some other things instead of just waiting. When he got there, he was friendly and got right to work. After the caulking was done, he touched up a couple of other areas I was concerned about, then looked at the other things I had asked him to do.. Based on looking at, and discussing them I felt comfortable he knew what he was doing and he gave me a quote. I agreed. Based on other work I've had done before, I thought the quote was fair, and that he would do a good job. He did. The fan required a larger hole cut in ceiling and had a light fixture on it, so he needed to get into the attic. The air vent to it also needed to be adjusted. The next thing in the bathroom was the water filter on the shower head. Last, he put the water filter under the sink in the kitchen. I was thrilled to finally have the bathroom finished and the filters on! We discussed several other future jobs. I was completely satisfied with the work done and am planning on calling him soon to continue on some other projects. He seemed to be very knowledgeable about what ever I brought up ( I ask a lot of questions), and had pictures of his work.

I called Sheldon on Monday. He came and gave me an estimate on Wednesday. He started and finished the job on Sunday. Sheldon is extremely handy, hardworking and experienced in a number of trades (tile, plumbing, sheetrook, carpentry & others). It was good that I only had to hire one person and he was able to do everything. He did a good job. I will use him again and would certainly recommend him to anyone needing a multi skilled tradesmen.
