I called Mr. Goldberg to request repair of the ceiling in my living room area due to damage from a leaking water pipe. He was excellent. He responded to my call within 24 hours. He explained exactly what would need to be done and about how long it would take. His price was the most reasonable out of the three other companies I contacted. On he day of the job he arrived on time. He performed the job efficiently and professionally. He finished on time. The quality of his work is great. I would definitely use his services again.

Wayne came out and repaired the ceiling of our closet and bathroom from a pipe leak. When he left, it looked like it had never happened! Texture matched and all! Awesome job!

Called Wayne for bid on our home ceiling repair job - out of 4 people we called - he came over that same afternoon! We talked about our budget and what we could do vs. what he would do to help us. He gave us an estimate for fixing the gaping hole in the ceiling and retexturizing everything. The price was right in our budget and he could start the next Wed. That was perfect for us - he said it would take 3 full days - he was done in 2!!!! He told us he'd be there at 10:00am - and he was, both days! He did a fantastic job - the ceiling looks great. My husband is doing the painting part. Wayne cleaned everything up and was very nice to work with. We even asked him if he could look at a minor drywall patching job upstairs - he gave us a great price, and came back the next day and completed that too!!! We will definitely call him the next time we need drywall work done!

He did a great job. He was very thorough, and talked through what he was planning on doing in each area. One room where the drywall had been ripped out on the bottoms of two walls is our garage, which we walled in about 1.5 years ago and turned into a home music studio. As a result, repairing the walls took some extra care and attention to the details needed to truly re-seal the wall acoustically. If this had not been done properly, it would have completely negated all the effort put into the construction of an acoustical "room within a room" that makes it possible to isolate the room from the rest of the house, and the outdoors. The sound wood bleed through the walls and disturb the neighbors, and my sleeping kids! Wayne listened carefully to my explanation of the details that needed to be handled on the drywall in order to restore the needed sound isolation, made some suggestions of his own, and followed through with all the requirements. I've tested the soundproofing of the walls since he finished, and the acoustical isolation has been restored. In addition, his work in general in the other parts of the house just looks good. He did all of the work himself to ensure high quality results. Great job!

I had some very large cracks in my ceiling from foundation problems. I was told by someone else that the only way to repair it was to tear out the whole ceiling. When Mr. Goldberg looked at it he was very honest and said that I could tear it out if I wanted to, but that it didn't really need it. He said that the entire thing could be patched and would look good. I decided to have him do the work. He even came out on a Sunday so that he could do it pretty quickly for me! The work was excellent! I couldn't be happier with the way it looks. I will definitely be calling him again for any other sheet rock work I need done.

The work was done over a two day period. For my part, all I had to do in preparation was moving some furniture.

He patched and plastered so that everything looked new. He was kind of messy and left some mess. The work that he did was very good, he is almost an artist. We found plaster in a lot of places all over the house that had to be scraped up, including in the carpet. There was dust everywhere, some of which is unavoidable.

Wayne is awesome, I highly recommend him. He was very professional, in sort of a family way, the guy could have been an uncle or cousin. I felt very comfortable around him, which is important as I'm often in the office alone and I'm a female. When he came in for the initial estimate, he gave me a very thorough estimate, and was honest about some work we wanted...but could not be done because of factors outside his control (immovable AC unit in front of wall and weird electrical work near garage). I'd recieved a couple other estimates, some less, one substantially more. I didn't want to pay less and get rushed, shoddy work, so I chose Wayne. He's a great dry-wall pro! Everything looks really good. Wayne worked with my schedule, was here when he said he would be, honest about when he couldn't be, and I think he even went out of his way this afternoon to help me. He's smart, skilled, and very....not interesting to talk to:). You can feel safe in your home/office when he's around, and he genuinly cares, very much, about his customers, and his craft. ***I read a review about Wayne telling someone his prices would be higher than the other two estimates he or she received, and s/he wasn't happy with this. I respect his or her opinion, but as someone who hires folks with a specialized craft pretty often...paying a little more is usually worth it...very much so with Wayne. His prices are fair...and didn't change...and he did exactly what he said he would-very well.

Mr. Goldberg contacted me and we spoke about me wanting to get an estimate for drywall in my garage. I told him I had received 2 estimates but was not satisfied with the 2 and was working with a budget. He immediately stated "those 2 were not enough for you?" I told him no because I was looking for different pricing to see what would work with my budget. He immediately and rudely stated "well my price is higher than those guys so I would not be able to help you." He did not ask anything about the job and never gave me a chance to discuss anything. I never mentioned what the other estimates were nor did he give me a chance to even see if he would be close to my budget. He just told me his costs were high and that was it. I am not sure if Mr. Goldberg was in a bad mood when I called him back or what the issue was but I hope and pray he provides service, as far as speaking with potential customers via phone, in the future.

Called Wayne on a Saturday @ 1:30. He called back 15 minutes later. He happened to be in the area and immediately came over to give an estimate. There were several areas in the home that needed to be addressed. Wayne said it would take two days to complete work. He text the day before to see if he could show up an hour early. He was prompt and worked for six hours the first day. Showed up on time the second day and worked for another six hours. The actual repair work was excellent. The only negative would be clean up. I do not feel he cleaned up the way a true professional should. There were areas of gunk that I had to clean up. Would I use Wayne again? Definitely. But I would have him agree to have my home spotless when he left.

We originally contacted Wayne prior to July 4 and he told my husband he was pretty busy. However we were in no rush so he told us he would call back after the holiday. We set up a time for him to look at the job and he gave us a quote. We scheduled the work for two days later. Wayne showed up slightly early to my delight and covered everything in my bathroom prior to working. He completed the work to my satisfaction in about 90 minutes and cleaned up all the mess. Did a great job matching the texture. Would definitely use him again.

Wayne knocked the whole job out in about 7 hours and explained the steps each way. No-nonsense guy who should be called upon when repairs are needed. Well done!

Wayne did an excellent job in my opinion. There were a lot places in the garage ceiling that had damage due to roof leaks or water damage due to water pipes. There were a couple of walls that needed the sheetrock repaired including other areas where filling holes from nail and screws previously used to hold lawn tools. The garage ceilings are very tall and scaffolding was required. Wayne brought all of the scaffolding and sheetrock. Wayne is a one-person operation and does not drop off workers at your house and then leaves. He shows up when he says and works and works. I look forward to future projects with Wayne.

His name is Wayne Goldberg and he was excellent. When Wayne fixed the drywall, he tidied up all kinds of stuff in the garage. I plan to get back for three other wall projects that I have got and have talked to him about. As far as I am concerned, the guy is gold.

Wayne showed up when he said he would, and kept exactly on schedule. I like working with people who are their own business, as opposed to large crews of disinterested workers. He also knows his stuff.

Wayne came out the day I called for an estimate and then came out a few days later when the electrician was finished in order to patch about 15 holes of varying sizes in the ceilings of 2 rooms. He did a great job making them seamless and all we had to do was prime and paint. You cannot tell there were holes there at all.

Gave an estimate, then days later said he needed some measurments. He wanted us to be waiting by the phone when he was ready. Didn't work out.

Wayne is a man of his speaking, he was there when he said he would be and completed when he estimated. He is a no-nonsence sort of fellow that is at ease with strangers, always polite, never curt or abusive. The areas were handled as two separate projects, one was completed before the second began, Work was fast, clean and competent.
