NBR Remodeling

I had an awesome experience with NBR! They were fair with the pricing and NBR did a great job. They did the work really quick and were organized when it came to working on my home. They keep everything clean in your home so nothing gets dirty. Also, if you re ever dissatisfied with the work, Joe and the workers will do their best to keep you happy.

Joe the business owner very nice and professional, when one was his workers was extremely rude I bought it to his attention and he took care of it he never sends the man to my property again. He came every day to check on the workers and the progress Overall the quality of work was good and I will definitely use him again.

Easy to work with, cleaned up every time before they left, on time, met timeline, easy to work with. Can t say enough good things about them!

The Contractor (Joe) contacted immediately after my initial search on Home Advisor and was able to give me an estimate that same day. The next day I had a few questions regarding the estimate so I contacted the Joe but no response for several days. I finally told him that I was going to go with someone else since I couldn't get in contact with him and that is when he finally contacted me back. He answered my questions and apologized stated that this would never happen again. *This was only the first of many times that this would happen.* According to Joe this project was only to take 2 weeks. The first day an entire crew of people showed up including Joe; this would be the first and last time a crew of people would show up. So here are the highlights of what went wrong. Joe has TERRIBLE communication skills. You hardly see him and he doesn't check up on his workers. He would tell me they were on there way (only AFTER I would call him and ask him if anyone was coming today) and no one would show up, or they would show up at 1 or 2 and would leave at 5. Some days they wouldn't show up at all or they would send one person to do ALL the work. Quality of work- The beginning the work was great but after that the quality took a dramatic turn. I had to make them do things 3 or 4 times to get it right. They would paint without tape so they would get paint EVERYWHERE and I'd have to tell them to clean it up. Painted/stained the cabinet with the doors and shelves in...so you know what that means...where the door and shelves touched the rest of the cabinet there was no paint. I literally had to take the door and cabinets off the hinges to get them to acknowledge that they needed to repaint it. Certain things were supposed to be done but was NEVER done. Instead of just buying the matching bullnoise and transition peices for the wood floor they tried to be cheap and do it themselves. I told him from the start that if they didn't match they were coming up. They had to do them 3 or 4 times. He spent more money trying to be cheap then just buying the matching pieces (which I know they sold because I had the floors done downstairs before this project and I have the matching transition peices). I literally could go on and on. The general idea of what I wanted was there but the execution and time table (they were two months behind the 2 week estimate) was seriously lacking. I finally had enough and decided to finish the remaining jobs around the house myself. I had to higher a company to fix the wood floors upstairs, a plumber to fix my toilet because it now made a weird sound after they reinstalled it and a guy to regrout the shower walls and bathroom floor where they missed grout. I did all the remaining painting myself.

I had a terrible experience with New Beginning Remodeling. The crew had to come back multiple times to redo their work, and I am still unhappy with it. No attention to detail, regularly late, and sloppy work. I will have to hire someone to fix the mess that was left behind.

Just remodelled 5 bathrooms in 3 1/2 weeks! Absolutely delighted with Joe and his wonderful crew at New Beginnings. Joe was excellent to work with from start to finish. I showed him pictures and he got things rolling from helping choose all materials to the actual remodel. The process moved along efficiently and smoothly. I am a detail person and his crew were very accommodating, making sure I was happy with all aspects. Special thanks to Isaiah, who worked so hard to make sure I was happy with the finished details, he clearly is a perfectionist with the skill set to match! My new bathrooms are gorgeous! Before I called New Beginning Remodeling, I had been under contract with another contractor for a month. I had already picked out all of the elements for my bathroom, and the contractor I was working with backed out of the job 2 days before he was supposed to start. When I called Joe, he worked with me to stay in the budget I had already set using most of the things I had already picked out. Joe was very professional and made sure to communicate with me daily about what was going on at my house each day. His workers were very polite and professional, and kept the mess and noise to a minimum. I work from home, and the demolition and construction never disrupted my work. I now have a beautiful, updated bathroom, and I would recommend Joe and his crew to anyone thinking about remodeling their kitchen or bathroom.

My bathroom is beautiful!! What a transformation! I told Joe what I wanted and it was transformed! The master bath renovation was worth the hassle! Joe and Nelson were professional and courteous and when there was an issue with one of the crew they were right on top of it! They were there to make sure the customer was satisfied with all aspects of the project. I’ve hired a few contractors in the last 8 years for major renovations and it does not matter it is never hassle free due to the scale of some renovation projects. I will definitely recommend NBR to anyone and would definitely hire him again. I luv my master bathroom! Thank you Joe, for your patience and understanding!

Joe is a great salesman and we admittedly didn't shop around after talking to him. From the previous reviews we felt his work would be up to par with his pricing although we did think that was a little high. My first issue was we were given the impression we would see Joe the first day of the job. Instead we met his job supervisor. Not an issue until there were things he didn't know about. We met Joe and selected tile, tub, cabinets etc prior to the job. Joe's team was very friendly although there was a language barrier. The job was moving very quickly, which was great. Then while discussing the layout of the tile we discovered the crew was given incorrect instructions on the tile. They thought the tile we selected for the floor was going on the wall and vice versa. So glad we caught that before it was put down. We were told the cabinets would be stained by his crew and they were stained in our bathroom. They used stain with polyurethane already in the stain. Applied with a rag. (If you are imagining a mess, you would be correct) It looked awful. I was already getting frustrated that we hadn't seen Joe at all and it was 3 days into the job. Joe showed up on the 4th day of the job and said his guys could fix the cabinets. They would have someone go back over the cabinets 3 times before the job was done and even then we settled just to be over it. We were told they would frame the mirror over the sink which was done in the front yard of our house in the grass. The corners were not cut correctly and the stain was a mess on the frame as well. It had to be fixed on the wall because they glued the mirror and frame to the wall!! I told Joe they should never be gluing it to the wall like that. The mirror can never be moved now without ripping out the drywall. Then the granite guys showed up and cut the counter top, and installed most of it, but couldn't put in the back splash because the electrical outlet was too low. (Should have known this would need to be moved as we discussed the fact that the new counters would be much higher than the original. So the Electrician needed to come back out and move the outlet, leaving a big hole that his crew had to come back and fix. Since the counter top and sink had been installed we could already tell that the counter was not cut correctly for the sink and would need to be re cut. Joe agreed the cut was so bad it could not be corrected, so a new piece of granite had to be brought out and cut. In short, many parts of the job had to be done 2 or 3 times just to be acceptable. The tile and tub were the only things that did not have to be done more than once and I stayed very involved with them during the tile installation. Just really disappointed after all the good reviews I read. Maybe if Joe had been around more we wouldn't have had all those issues.

The owner was on vacation when my work started so it was hard to get assistance or expertise on certain issues. The tile workers are good, BUT they paid No attention to detail. They had to come back and redo things that were not done right and they put a crack in my tub and tried to cover it up with white paint. The owner is a nice guy, but he does not communicate well. He does not explain and put in writing the exact details of your contract and it is hard to get him to either call you back or answer your text messages. Promises were made for delivery that were not kept. Much improvement is needed in overall service.

Working with Joe at New Beginnings was professional and easy to work with. Their price was reasonable and they were very flexible to work with as the project progressed. The end product was a fantastic looking Master Bathroom, completely updated and for a reasonable price based on other quotes we received.

Work clean always on time. tell you what they will do the day (s) that they work in your house. Helpful in picking color matches, always staying in budget.

Joe fulfilled all of our needs. Love my new bathrooms and bedroom. There were hiccups w communication at times. He took a vacation w his family during the project, which is not a problem. The problem was he did not communicate that w us, said he'd be at the house did not show or call or return calls. If he just let us know he wasn't avaiable, we would of understood and let him enjoy his time w his family. We will use him again.

A lot of talk from Joe. Quality of work questionable. Many days no workers showed up. Time line never given. Line item of costs never given.

Joe and his crew did a great job with my kitchen remodeling project. We had the entire kitchen redone and wood floor replaced on the first floor. Joe was very knowledgeable and prompt from the very beginning. He was never late on any of our appointments and responded quickly throughout the project whenever I had questions. His crew is extremely hard working and courteous. They did the entire project in two weeks, minimizing the impact of our inconvenience of not having a kitchen. Joe was in contact with his crew and communicated our needs on a daily basis and gave us a lot of good ideas along the way. I would definitely recommend Joe and his company and will call on him again for future projects.

Joe and his folks did a timely and high quality job at home.They installed a walk in shower and associated tiling. Also moved the drywall to increase the size of the pantry and laundry room, installed shelves and cabinets. Very courteous and professional crew. Very good quality workdone on schedule. Highly recommended.

Overall, the price was higher than the competitors. Nonetheless, we hired him as he promised to get work done in a timely manner. Our faucets had not arrived, and he promised to send his plumber back when we receive them. However, we have given a run around since he received the full payment.
