Maid Envy

Got me in right away. Did Great Service

I have used Maid Envy 4 or 5 times and my review is not near as generous as others.. I continued to use them after the first cleaning because I did think they did a fair job even though they are very expensive because I didn't discover the things they left undone for a while. They charged me for a deep cleaning, which consists of cleaning baseboards, window ledges, all dusting, glass cleaning and 2 1/2 bathrooms etc. I discovered after the second cleaning that none of that was done. They might have after the first one, but I can definitely say they did not on second deep cleaning. I took pictures and showed the owner Cindy. She was apologetic and offered a ridiculously low discount which I refused. They came down a bit more from the next cleaning. On that trip to my house they broke a beautiful crystal piece and it took a while, but they finally paid for that to be fixed. Just not without several calls to get them to do so. The last time they came out they gave me a price of 9cents, which of course, I knew was a mistake, but they did not get back to me with a price. I made an assumption that the 9 cents was supposed to be 90.00 for just doing the floors, bathrooms and dusting. I called Cindy to tell her of some damage that was done to my floor after that visit and the dirt that was still on my floor after the cleaning, and of which I took pictures.. She couldn't speak to me at that time so we hung up with a promise of a call back. No call back. Then I saw that they charged me 151.00 for yet another very poor job. Oh, and did I mention that one time they didn't bother to clean the base of the toilets. I am not saying no one should use them. What I am saying is check their work because if you don't you will not get what you paid for.

I have a town home and they usually do a reasonably good job with regular maintenance cleaning. However, sometimes if they have a different supervisor things are left completely undone. I had to call and complain that floors were obviously untouched. They did offer to send the team back the same day but it didn't fit the schedule so I did the work myself. Defeats the purpose. Also they have scheduled arrival times. I requested they not come during certain hours since my son naps but they consistently miss their window or arrive at the exact times I requested they not come. They are responsive to complaints and I think genuinely try to accommodate requests but this happened multiple times. I am switching services due to the issues I've been having. I'd rather pay more than have the job half done to complete myself.

Arrived on time, went to work very quickly and checked with me regarding details... this was a "custom" package because I wanted particular attention given to certain areas. They were very friendly, yet professional and did an excellent job.

Perfectly. They cleaned everything. They even did the dishes. The ladies were very nice and got right to work when they arrived. When the time was up, they mopped themselves out the door. They knew what they were doing. Scheduling them was easy and the company was available on the date we asked for.

They did great! Came in and got the job done right away! They were professional, really fast, high quality, no messing around. I have already scheduled them again for another location. I highly recommend them, and great price.

I had them come clean about 800 sq feet. I wanted this split into two cleanings, so I bought the six hour deal. I was told I would get the cabinets cleaned as a deep cleaning option. The ladies arrived promptly. I got them started, left. When I came back three hours later they were still there. They had cleaned the whole six hours though I had expressly said I wanted two three hour sessions. Also, the kitchen cabinets weren't cleaned. I asked that the sheets be changed, I am not certain this happened. I should have stayed, that is my bad. The house was picked up when they arrived. It wasn't a giant mess. It was dusty and in need of mopping etc. I can clean it in an hour and a half alone. I could do a super good job in three hours. I got an okay to good job in six hours.

The experience was great and they did a wonderful job. There was one thing, on my dad’s chester draw in his bedroom, he had a little knickknack that he brought home when he travelled about 30-35 years ago. It was not a big deal because it only costs a couple bucks. It has liquid in it where is if you squeeze it and hold on to the bottom it had a low boiling point where it bubbles at the top. It broke but it was no big deal but it was fragile. Everything was wonderful and they went above and beyond. Everything was so neat and orderly, I was really impressed.

Cindy was very responsive on the phone and the three ladies showed up on time. Maria, Minerva and Dania did a great job of cleaning my home for an event I was hosting. The home had not been cleaned from top to bottom in a good while, so it took them awhile and they stayed till it was done.

It was just as advertised and I was happy with the service and the people.

two woman team dusted all furniture, cleaned kitchen countertops, showers, bathtubs, toilets, and sinks, stayed a few minutes longer to finish 3rd bedroom. all items were removed from countertops, i would suggest this prior to arrival for quicker cleaning. great work

Services were provided as requested. Wife was happy when she got home, she didn't have to complete the task.

My entire experience with this company was fantastic. I purchased the 4-hour cleaning deal and had a great consultation call later that afternoon. Three ladies showed up on time and immediately got to cleaning. They did an incredible job and our house has not looked this good since the day we moved in. They worked very hard every minute they were there and had incredible attention to detail. I would highly recommend this company.

*** I updated the rating and comments based on using Maid Envy throughout the summer. I no longer use this service due to poor process and management of their front office. Except for the initial cleaning, the service did not show up as expected. Monthly service is defined as 4 weeks. This was told to me after a cleaning crew showed up at my house while we were on vacation. We re-scheduled for when we got back. For the following cycle the staff showed up 4 weeks after the skipped vacation cleaning. This time no notice was given (due to broken SW??) and the cleaners again showed up with no one at my house. I rescheduled. The cleaning crew which was sent did an "ok" job yet had lots of deficiencies. I spoke to the manager and sent an email that day on what was wrong and told her days I would be available for a re-clean of those areas. She thanked me, yet never sent a crew to re-clean the areas. I spoke to the manager again and I believed we had heart to heart on the schedule, notice (at least 1 day) and cleaning crew. We re-synced my 4 week schedule and agreed to only use the cleaning crew which did the initial excellent cleaning job.... The cleaning crew next showed up 3 weeks rather then 4 weeks to clean the house. This service may do a good job cleaning yet you can't trust/believe in the front office. And their cost is only average for the area. There are too many other good cleaning services in Houston to use! ************************************ Initial comments ********************** I expected 4 hours of cleaning and received a very good value for the time (2.5+ hours spent for 3 cleaners = 7-8 man hours of work). The cleaners were polite and were diligent in their activities. They did a thorough job cleaning and logically cleaned the house so I could continue to work in a back study while they cleaned. They brought all their own supplies and left the house in GREAT shape. I'm not certain if the extra time spent is a normal occurrence but it made the cleaning very cost effective.

Owner came out and looked at the house and was very nice and professional in following up with everything. They are very flexible and helpful in scheduling and working around schedules.

Maid Envy showed up on time and did a great job of cleaning. Everyone was happy with the service. We have had a number of services come to clean in the past that did nowhere near as good of a job as Maid Envy. We have been switching services because of quality, but we will use Maid Envy going forward.

Arrived on tine, very professional. Took great care with the house. They even cleaned the baseboards under the appliances in the kitchen.

The service was good. I only paid the price of the Big Deal. I like that they were really quick and efficient. There is nothing I really disliked.

These ladies were great. They showed up on time and got all the holiday gunk out of our house. I will be using them again. Very resonably priced too.

They did a great job. They showed up early and were very thorough and polite. I had 2 people for 2 hours and they did a deep cleaning. I will definitely use them again.

It went well, I only wish that I had been told before the cleaning that I needed to previously mention that I wanted my oven cleaned. I was not aware that this was not part of the normal services.

3 cleaners did it in 1.5 hours. They did a nice job and left with a very clean house.
