The $60 is an estimate, as the service is $45 plus tip (which the provider never stated the amount of), plus demanded gratuity. I purchased two services using a deal site. In order to set up the first service, the provider made three separate appointments. The provider did not come once, nor did the provider give me a call to explain or attempt to reschedule. After the provider finally did come, the voucher was left on the patio table, where it had been for several days due to the third missed appointment. Apparently "tax and gratuity," was supposed to be left in the envelope as well. It was not, as it is my belief that the provider should have made clear that an additional amount was due and also the amount of the tax (which still to this day, I do not know the amount of. I am guessing no more than $4, since $45 x a generous 9% is $4.05.) Regardless, I received a text this morning from the provider saying that the tax and gratuity (which would be a well-deserved $0), needed to be made available today. Well, I was already at work by the time this text was received, and I believe a phone call would have made better business sense. In fact, I received way too many texts from him and ended up blocking his number. So today is not convenient for me, I do not trust this company with a phone credit card payment, and the provider has now cancelled the second service. He seems to be upset that he didn't get his $4 tax, but I am more upset that I've now paid for two services, only one of which will ever be received. Is he due the tax? Sure. In my opinion, however, he owes me a refund of half the amount I paid for the two services, less the $4 tax. In a nutshell, I wouldn't trust this company in the future, as I think the whole situation represents poor business.
