I had used the company some years ago to replace my garage door opener and had a good experience. On a Friday night I heard the sound of the main spring snapping. I called the office and requested service the next day (Saturday). I was told to expect a service man between 8AM and 10AM. At 9AM Saturday having not heard from anyone I called back and was told that they had been on a corporate job until 4AM that morning and would not be on time. I was told that they would communicate with the service man and call me back to reschedule later in the day. They never called back at all. Fortunately, I made a call to another company who showed up that same day. Poor communication. I don't like being promised a service that can't be delivered.

It was absolutely the worst service one can imagine. Katy Door Systems is the most unorganized & unprofessional contractor I have dealt with. I hired them to repair a damaged garage door. On the first visit, they advised replacing the door was cheaper than repairing. I scheduled a 2nd visit to replace the door; the door they brought was damaged. They installed the damaged door & scheduled a 3rd visit to replace. Upon the 3rd visit, they brought the wrong color panel. They installed the wrong panel and scheduled a 4th visit to replace the entire door. They came a 4th time, installed the door, & failed to reconnect the alarm system. I had to call them back to connect the alarm. 2 months go by, and the door won't work properly. I call them up to make a warranty service call, and they have no record of installing the door. After numerous calls and a conversation with the owner who declined to identify herself, they came again and adjusted the door. It still doesn't work right! I give up!
