Patterson Carpets & Interiors, Inc., dba Flooring by Patterson is a family owned business with over three decades of experience. Our showroom, open by appointment, is in the “Houston Design Center,” 7026 Old Katy Rd., Suite 292, Houston, TX 77024. Conveniently located near the Bellaire, Galleria, Memorial, Tanglewood, Heights, Rice Military, River Oaks, Uptown Park and West University areas. We do work in commercial venues, homes, hospitality projects, and churches. The trades people who do our commercial, hospitality, and church jobs have been working for us more than a decade, and do some of the largest jobs in all of Houston. All of our trades people are highly skilled, and are people who work for us on an ongoing basis. We will not be sending people to do your job who are “strangers” to us. Our objectives are for our customers to find a product that will truly meet their needs, that they get “good dollar value” that they have a very pleasant shopping experience, and that they are very satisfied with the final result. It is also our desire is for each customer to still be very satisfied years after their job has been completed. Even though we have a beautiful showroom in a secure area, most of our customers prefer our “shop at home” service. With our Design Evaluation, we're able to choose samples and bring a selection to you, which can save you a lot of time. The lines we carry are quality lines, however if you need something inexpensive for a rent house, we can meet those needs as well. We are also an Eco Timber Authorizer Dealer. Eco Timber is the original green flooring company. The products are sustainably harvested and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) approved. Many of their products are also formaldehyde-free. Whether you are wanting to get new wood floors, repair and/or re-finish existing wood floors, have stairs converted to wood, need a runner on the stairs, need bamboo, need new carpet, want new tile in bathroom(s), want to have tile or stone installed, need new granite countertops and back splashes, need a shower redone, need custom shutters etc., we can do all of that for you, leaving a beautiful finished product that you can be proud of for years to come. Having gone through a refinishing process before, I was braced for the dust and the fumes. However, I was completely and pleasantly surprised - there was literally no dust and no odor from the finish as we used the waterbased compounds. Brian and the team, especially Mr. Sergio, were very professional and responsive -- and the whole project was completed in a little less than a week. We will definitely be using this team again, when we refinish the downstairs.
Description of Work: 1 -- Convert stairway from carpet to hardwood with risers 2 -- Remove carpeting and install hardwood flooring

Description of Work: Very professional, Brian patiently walked us through all choices and made sure we had the flooring installed before we moved in. The installers were competent and did a great job installing the hardwood. We will use Patterson for all our flooring needs and highly recommend them

I can not rate Dave's service and staff highly enough. From the consultation and design, to the workmanship and detail, to the schedule and delivery, this company is worth every penny they charge. I have no doubt there are cheaper tile companies out there, but I don't believe you will find a finer one. Dave (the owner) made multiple trips to the house for the consultation and during installation to check and confirm work throughout the process. They were SUPER clean, never left a mess, and ensured any extra materials they purchased (i.e. - extra tile) stayed with us. Payment was very easy (1/2 up front, 1/2 upon completion) and for a job and expense like ours, it was nice to know the company isn't relying on my payment to keep work on the project going. Unfortunately, I used other tile guys for my kitchen who weren't bad and a bit cheaper, but not even close in quality, but Flooring by Patterson is by far the finest tile company in Houston in my book.
Description of Work: Dave Patterson actually did 2 jobs for me (both bathrooms). One job was for about $4000 and the other was for $9500. The $4K job included installing marble flooring (diagonal), 4 ft wall mosaic (1x1) tile, mosaic tile in shower/bath to ceiling, and a ogee molding around wall and shower tile. The $9500 job was to install 18x18 marble flooring, full shower marble design (inlay, ogee, 2x2 floor, subway marble tile), install of a custom frameless glass shower and door, and installation of a double sink marble countertop for our custom vanity. This included all materials except the marble vanity top.

They're excellent, very, very, good. No complaints whatsoever. It was excellent from start to finish. They are very professional. They're an extremely good company.
