The owners name is Jerry Fullerton and we hired him based on reviews from other contractors at a trade show. He came out 2-3 times, seemed to be very professional and talked a good talk. He was to replace tile and carpet on the main floor of our house and said it would be a 4-5 day project. He came out on day one with 2 workers, brought the new tile and he stayed for less than an hour. The workers did not complete the demoing of the tile nor did they touch the old carpet before they left. On day 2, Jerry called to say his wife was having car trouble and could be there in the afternoon; he never showed up. On day 3 he called to say he was having trouble locating a truck but would be there soon with his workers following behind him. He showed up, gathered all his tools to take to another job site but his workers never showed up and he did not come back. My wife called him and was told that he could not find his workers. I called him mid-afternoon to find out what the issue was and to see when we would get back on schedule. He promised me he would call me back by end of day. I never heard from him and left him several voice mails. I sent him a text that night to fire him and ask for part of our money back from the down payment. He never returned a call or replied to the text message. We will now have to take him to court as we are out $1400. We are now finding out that he is notorious for not returning calls from other customers he did work for.
