ARBAT TV Repair

At his request, I texted the model number, pic of the spec plate on the set and a description of our problem. Wanting to give him the benefit of the doubt in light of recent weather events, I sent a follow-up text ten days later. Never heard another word. Business must be good.

My smart TV was broken, I contacted Mike and he said that Clute was too far and he did service my area, but he could trouble shoot it by phone. Mike got back to me a day later, we troubleshot through the phone and I bought the part I needed online and changed it out. My TV is back in service and Mike didn't even charge me for the assistance. I would highly recommend ARBAT TV repair.

Great. Tech quickly found problem and replace bad circuit board

At around 5:00 PM, we called to ask questions and over the phone he was able to get an idea of the problem and said he has a part and might be able to fix the issue. Within 2 hours, we had someone show up and fix the problem. This worked out great as it was a convenient time that we could be home and not have to make arrangements to miss work. Although, the price to repair seemed a little high, it definitely saved money on buying a new 50" TV so I think it was worth the repair, especially since we always buy the top tier TVs and they run for years. Others who tend to buy cheaper TVs might not think the price to repair is worth it. The repair was about 200 bucks on a 50" TV.

Mike scheduled a prompt appointment, at our request, the following day. Our large screen LG TV would not pass beyond the opening screen logo to access TV programming or any other component attached to the TV such as the Apple TV. He studied the problem before arriving and concluded that the motherboard was causing the problem and needed to be repaired. He recommended that we send the motherboard to an independent source rather than LG because the repair price would be half the price of sending it LG for repair. He called us as soon as he received the repaired motherboard back and reinstalled it that afternoon. Mike is very pleasant and easy to work with. We are very satisfied with the quality of his work and his professionalism.

Prompt response to call and same day service call. Professional and thorough technician

We ended up solving the problem ourselves so we never use them. The estimate seemed pretty reasonable. He was very quick to get back to me. He called back when he said he was going to call back. He was very pleasant. It sounds like a small company but I had a positive interaction with the guy. He returned my call. He was ready to come over. He let me explain what the problems were. He gave me an estimate and that's about it.

They were fine! It was $100 & something and they weren’t able to fix it and they still charged me for the service charge. He was actually very nice and went out of his way to help, but it would cost too much to fix the television. You have to pay for him to come out to do it. He just pretty much just took it apart to see what was the problem, saw that I needed additional parts. He showed up on time and he called. It was $119, something like that.

Excellent. Issue was diagnosed and defined and solution identified.

I contacted Arbat TV the afternoon of 12/14/16. Mike texted me back very promptly and said he would be at my house the next day to look at the TV. Mike texted me again the next morning before arriving to let me know his status and arrived on time. Mike was great, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He removed the back cover of the TV, quickly diagnosed the problem, soldered a few items on the power board and reinstalled the back cover. The TV came on immediately, I haven't had any problems with it since then and would highly recommend Mike.

Mike asked good questions about the problem and was able to determine the problem over the phone. Since his initial diagnosis was correct he was able to give us an accurate estimate over the phone. He came an hour after we called in the problem and fixed it within an hour (we have a DLP player and the bulb was going out). We were able to provide details about the model and type of TV over the phone. If you contact him and can tell him exactly what model and type of TV you have and what the problem is, he might have a good chance of telling you the problem.

Have used him several times over the years to replace lamp. The last time it was replaced the TV developed an intermittent failure to power on. Contacted Mike and he replaced the lamp again at no charge. Very fair and honest.

Fantastic Job! Mike was the second contractor that I contacted for my TV issue - the first never bothered to call me back after the initial discussion. The fan was malfunctioning in my TV causing it to shutdown. It was difficult to locate the replacement part so Mike came to my house to see if he could figure out exactly what to buy. He saw no evidence of the motor or fan being damaged so he cleaned it and it started working! The TV is still working great. I plan to have him do additional work to mount our TVs since we just moved back into our house. Very honest and professional contractor and diligent in helping you find a solution!

I still hope to use their service in future and I'm shopping around for other quotes also based on Angie's list reviews. Since I don't get my TV fixed all that often, it might be worth the cost but I just want to make sure I'm getting quoted fairly.

I went to Angie List found my tv repair man near my zipcode. I called and gave him my location and told him my Misubishi tv went dark. and told him the model number. He got the lamp at the shop and said he be there today in 3 hours after he finish his first job. He told me over the phone the price of the part and service call fee. part- $ 150.00 + service call- $100.00 total cost $ 270.00 tv is fixed Great.

Sent details, problem, tv model #, via his website. He called next morning, telling me he had the part and could be out by mid morning. He arrived on time; adjusted part he had to fit. Cost was per his original estimate. I will definitely use again and highly recommend his service.

Our TV broke down over the weekend. I went on the company's website, gave a short description and received an answer the same day with possible solutions. Mike came to the house, knew exactly what to do, was very friendly and a joy to deal with! He didn't stop until everything was perfectly in order. No more troubles for us finding a good TV repair shop, he is the man!

The service was fair. It was okay. He solved my immediate problem, but I was not like blown away by him. It was a hundred bucks for him to come to the house; it was not cheap. It solved the problem at the moment, but I ended up having, this past weekend, to replace the sound bar all together. He was not terrible and he solved my problem, but he just seemed busy. I did not get that warm and fuzzy feeling. The price was medium. It was not super expensive. It was a hundred bucks and it was not like a major repair. It was just putting a new wire. I do not know if I am going to use him again in the future. I probably would use them again, but if somebody had somebody else they would recommend, I would definitely try them.

My T.V is still working great, I really appreciate them saving me some money on my TV repair.

Originally, I was concerned about sending a stranger (especially a man) to my (85 year old) moms home when I couldn't be there. After contacting multiple repair places & doing some research, I chose Mike (the owner of ARBAT TV) based on his Angie's list reviews & his professionalism & prompt responses I had in communicating with him. I have been meaning to put a review here since his first visit to her home. On his first visit, he took down the large flat screen and my mom was shocked at how quickly he took apart what he needed to in order to diagnose and fix the problem. She said it was very involved, yet he diagnosed the problem quickly, and put the TV back together and hung it back up quickly. He has now helped my mom on multiple occasions with different issues & my mom LOVES him. He has been incredibly prompt, professional, thorough, truly appreciates the business & just very kind to my mother. My mom has his number now, and she has since used him 3 different occasions for different things. My mom is electronically challenged (ahem - that's putting it mildly), and Mike has been kind in helping her understand how to use her controllers, etc... He has gone above an beyond in what we asked & expected him to do. He is extremely prompt and reliable and professional. I would not hesitate to call him to get the job done correctly and promptly!.

I bought a replacement lamp for our projector TV. The store said it was very simple to install, so I gave it a try. I tried, but the bulb still did not work. I called Mike and he was able to come the same day. MIke was friendly and after examining the TV, found a couple of problems. Glass from the old bulb was on the track and the housing for the replacement was not an exact match. I thought I was going to have to start all over with the part. Instead, Mike took the housing from the old lamp and switched it with the new one I had ordered. Just like that, my TV was working. This is an old TV. The last time I had the lamp replaced, the authorized dealer charged a lot more and used a lesser quality brand. We definitely will use Mike again.

First day he assessed problem,. Ordered part and returned to fix TV. I found Mike to be very professional and fair with his pricing, The TV is a 73and quot;Mitsubishi, 5 years old. I conferred with Mitsubishi Service Centerand they gaveme 2 repair shops, neither was Arbat. One was out of service and one couldnot help because we were too far out of town. I thencalled Arbat, who came outright away. Arbat was further away from us than the Mitsubishi-recommended company. Mike of Arbat did a great job.

We phoned Michael right after he opened this morning. Explained our problem with the TV, and he agreed to come out and run diagnostics on the TV. He asked when we were available, we agreed on the time. He was very professional, and explained the cost for the diagnostics. He arrived promptly, he was pleasant and professional. Since I had questions, he shared what he was doing and the results as he ran the various function testing. When I requested information, his answers reflected knowledge based on experience with the technology. While the results were not what I had hoped (we need to replace the tv) I was confident with Michael's conclusion.

I called this afternoon and explained what was wrong with the television. He told me what the cost would be, and that he could be there later in the afternoon. I was extremely pleased at how prompt a response I got, and very pleased when he showed up and completed the work in a timely fashion.
