Ajax Exterminating

Robert, the provider, was very nice, courteous and professional. I would recommend this company! I have called him today to come trap whatever is in the attic. Since I belong to Angieslist, he will be charging about $95.00 which is a good price! He is scheduled to come out Tuesday morning, July 8th. ..

The provider sprayed the home but the problem did not go away. It didn't even improve a little bit. We were also told that the problem would go away on its own in due time . Need less to say, it hasn't .

I've had Robert out to the house 3 times; he cancelled the 4th appointment. Don't call this guy on Sunday morning or after business hours, because his personal cell is also his business line. You'll wake him up, and he doesn't like that. Also, don't count on Robert showing up. I scheduled my appointment two days ago, and this morning I get a message that his truck is broken, with no offer for a reschedule. He told me to call someone else. If you're looking for someone to place traps, this may be a good route. If you're looking for someone who will take proactive measures to ensure that rodents don't return, look elsewhere. This guy just sets traps. No live catches. No carpentry to fix rodent entry points. No referrals to carpenters. He's pretty good at setting traps though, and also has a cool looking white outfit that he wears when onsite. *UPDATE In response to this company's most recent response, AJAX never told me they wouldn't service because of my "rudeness". He cancelled because of "car trouble". Is this professional service? NO. AJAX, get a business line! When I call on Sunday, it's because I have an EMERGENCY! If you don't want to talk on Sunday morning, TURN OFF YOUR PHONE! If you don't want to work for me, then say so. There is no need to make up stories about your car troubles.

It went really well. They were very very nice and knowledgeable!

We had a little trouble scheduling the service due to rain. I appreciated the fact that Robert was very upfront about rain being a factor on the effectiveness of the product applied to our yard. He stayed in touch and once the weather cleared he promptly delivered the service as promised. He provided some great tips on the maintenance of our yard for insects. He suggested that we not use a bagger for clippings for the next several cuts to help keep the product on the yard so that it had sufficient time to work. He also asked about allergies to products ( which I do happen to have!) before he treated the yard and discussed the best products to get the job done and to avoid any allergy attacks. We scheduled a regular maintenance program for every 3 months. Honest, did the work himself and very dependable. Definitely going to use him again.

He did a great job and was really nice. He even sprayed inside the garage. He said they will let me know in a few months when I should have it sprayed again if I want to go ahead with the service. He was very prompt and efficient.

Very professional technician was always on time and when he had to reschedule he called me well before my appointment time. I'm actually out of their service area but because I was scheduled so they finished the service and then told me that I needed to find someone local to help with follow-ups. I thought that was awesome of them. He explained everything very thoroughly and I felt confident that the treatments would help. Thanks

Still to early to tell if bugs/ants are going to be problem. My main concern were ants in the kitchen and bathroom, but they wouldn't guarantee that they wouldn't come back. Had to point out some ant beds, which I had already scan the yard to find out where they were before he arrived. I asked to see if he needed any help in moving furniture, and he said no and just sprayed around it. It may still to early to tell.

Ajax was prompt in responding to my problem with a raccoon in my garage. After seeing a raccoon run into my garage on a Thursday, Ajax cam out the very next morning to set traps. It took a couple of days, but we trapped the troublesome little guy and removed him from the premises. I was happy with the quick response and resolution to my problem. I would use Ajax again.

Robert is very helpful, and provides only the required services.

Service technician was prompt, polite, professional and very helpful. He went above and beyond.

It went well, however, I expected a periodic call notifying me that the next visit time had arrived, but I have not heard from AJAX again. I would welcome them back!

Two weeks later he returned to check the traps. The traps were empty, which means that the openings were properly closed.

I had a rat problem in the garage and attic. Traps were placed, weak points identified and remedied. It took 3 visits and 6 rodents later and problem solved. We will be using this company for routine maintenance for all things pesty.

It was an Angie's' List Big Deal that I purchased. It was less than satisfactory. It was a 2 visit deal and they haven't come back for the second portion. They were supposed to come back and check the traps and I haven't heard from them. The price wasn't worth it if they don't come back.

It was easy getting in touch with them, and they were kind enough to offer an additional service for free since they had to cancel our initial appointment. Furthermore, their treatment seems to have been effective because we haven't seen any pests since.

It turned out fine and we have used them 2 times now. The scheduling was easy and fine.

I was very pleased with his work and plan to use his services biannually.

Company responsive in making the appointment. After I paid for the $79 offer, I actually called them because I saw another special with them that included rodent removal. I called them to see if I could change to that one, but I had squirrel problems and they do not do squirrels, which was fine. They gave me an appointment, but there was a minor mix-up on the appointment, but it all worked out. They showed up and performed the extermination, and added ant treatment for the mix-up. In addition, he went BEYOND what he was there to do. He does not do squirrel removal, but he went into the attic and looked at what had been done to prevent squirrels from coming into my home. He said it was blocked very well and no sign of any breach in what was there. I told him that someone had come out from a rodent removal and said it would be $700 to remove the squirrel(s)! He said he did not think I had a squirrel there, as I had blocked a hole in my soffit during the day and it appeared to have taken care of it. He even made a great recommendation to put a few nuts on a jar lid in the attic and leave it a couple of days. If I go up and they are gone, I still have something up there. If not, I know they aren't getting into my attic. Pretty dang smart. May save me quite a bit of money. Anyway, all in all, this was a great experience, and I enjoyed speaking and discussing everything with them. They were not in a rush to get out. They helped me and gave me tips that they did not have to do. I would recommend them anytime.

The service was scheduled for 1300, but the provider did not show. They did call approx. 2 hours later and apologized for not showing up on time. I was unable to reschedule due to my busy schedule and because the house was being sold a few days later.

Robert carefully checked our entire house to determine where mice had access to enter the house. He placed traps and coached me on how to trap and dispose of mice. He made several recommendations on small things we could do to decrease the chance of reinfestation.

If you need and exterminator, I recommend this company...this is the second time that I have had them out and the service and results are great.

They were good. They showed up on time. They were knowledgeable and friendly. It was just the big deal price that I paid.

Needed to exterminate sugar ants in a pet friendly way. Was told that the treatment might not be effective since the recommended treatment was pet toxic. This turned out to be true, it did not cure the problem. I would have preferred him turning down the job that was beyond his capabilities.
