Affordably Installed Glass

Took his bid as the lowest to install a glass shower door.  He promised to clean up the marble around it and make it look good.  Took 1/2 the money up front to do the job two weeks later (had to order the door and hardware).  Didn't hear from him two weeks later.  Called repeatedly over and over and phone went straight to voice mail.  I finally got a co-worker who said Tommy (the owner) had a death in the family.  (He could have at least called).  A few weeks later, after I kept calling, he finally answered the phone and said he would be there in a couple of days to install.  Came in, did the work quickly then told me he couldn't clean the marble because he didn't have the equipment.  Still demanded the full payment on the bid (I made the mistake of not having him detail the cleaning of the marble on the contract).  Worse people ever.  Do NOT use!

RUN DONT WALK, AWAY FROM THIS ENTOURAGE OF CROOKS If there could be 0 stars then I would have to consider 0 stars rating. He has now associated himself with Handyman Depot. As an employee of Handyman Depot as a salesman, I was promised the world and nothing delivered. Poor communication, false deadlines, broken promises, just like the original contractor of Handyman Depot. Basic Facts: Kitchen remodel contract signed in mid January for overhaul of kitchen. Promised 4 wks for cabinets, 2-3 wks for demo and install. Current Date 1st wk of May and still not complete. Pros: end design is coming out well, good craftsmanship, good quality workers Cons: NO communication, rarely shows up, stole tools, upcharge bill, threatens court when 90% of agreed price is already exceeded and job is not complete and 3 months late. Also does not pay workers ontime so they are less motivated to work if even show. Over course of project has put 2 other ppl on the project and neither have proven anything, constant game of good cop/bad cop. Worse of all, he was recommended by a friend who has used him multiple times and after this he will not even recommend him again...contractor's colors sure did come out. Please look elsewhere it will be a better experience.
