Description of Work: I responded to the $126.00 "DRAIN AND CLEAN A HOT WATER HEATER" add that I received in an email from Angie's list. I called, got details, told her my home had two hot water heaters and they were both 15 years old, installed by my builder. I was supprised when the plumber came out and started checking all my faucets and plumbing. When I questioned it, he said the plumbing checkups were free to club members and it included inspecting and cleaning both of my hot water heaters. I didn't think I had joined a club, but, thought he might be refering to Angie's List. |When he finally got to my hot water heaters he informed me they were too old, had a plastic hose connection and "company policy prohibited him from touching them." So, no draining my hot water heaters? Nope! But they would replace them for about $6,000. The manager is supposed to be refunding my money on my credit card. FYI I found out that most all hot water heater manufactured 15-20 years ago had plastic hose connections. Lesson Learned!

Description of Work: I needed an additional electrical outlet installed in a hallway of my small business. Went well. Arrived early and did a good job. Electrician was very professional and pleasant. Cleaned up after himself --- a real plus. The job was quite a bit more expensive than I had imagined it would be, but I didn't have anyone else to compare to.

Description of Work: Annual preventative checks for Plumbing and HVAC - the price is good for these yearly checks and they do great work and give clear info on the status and any work that may need to be done. They also work with my tenant to arrange a convenient time for her family, although sometimes I have to remind them to contact the tenant. I love working with them.

Description of Work: Did a spring inspection of our air conditioner. |Had plumber investigate why toilet was not flusing. Suggested replacing toilet because of it's age and build up of lime in toilet. He replaced the toilet plus the toilet flang. Toilet now works great. Also, asked him about the bathtub not draning. Said out our tube did not have a "P" trap but had an old lead trap. He was afraid to run a snake down the drain as he was afraid he would polk a hole in trap. Suggested he replace tub. We are getting estimatges to remodel the bathroom with a new tub and will have Abacus do the plumbing part.

Description of Work: The Abascus serviceman did performed an excellent job in cleaning our master and 2nd bathroom water drain. We also did sign-up their $126 per year membership because its include the annual water heater flush.

Description of Work: Replaced 1960's sewer line. Expensive, yes, but they did a great job...No |time to be frugal when something this important is being done. They |did am A1 job, and it's guaranteed for 10 years.

Description of Work: Repaired broken pipe in the attic at hall bath. Installed new tub/shower valve in hall bath. Repair leak on top of water heater. They came out promptly; were very courteous; did a good job.

Description of Work: I did receive a quote for replacing two hot water heaters as requested. The technician was very prompt and professional with his inspection and with the manner of providing a detailed quote for replacing the hot water heaters. However, I had received a more affordable quote from another service company that I found on Angie's list too. So I went with the more affordable server company who I was very happy with.
