A Nanny's Touch

Cecilia Kiser the owner of the company did not exhibit any integrity and was very dishonest. The nannies are not horrible but some of them lack the skills and knowledge and tend to lie about the hours work and what the can do once you hire them. I started out with a good nanny but she became a little lazy after working for me for six months. She would leave on personal errands without telling me while I was still paying her. My children told me and I was able to monitor it with my surveillance camera in the house and outside. Another nanny showed up late and walked off the job. Cecilia always had excuses and when I told her I would not be doing business with her anymore she refused to refund my deposit and decided to make up a lie about the contract turns. My biggest problem was with Cecilia she increased the rates even though we had a signed contract with a lock in rate. When my contract was over she refused to refund my deposit as well as return money drafted that the nanny did not earn. My suggestion is not to use her she has multiple addresses and is not the type of person to enter into any kind of agreement with. I now have to go to arbitration.

She is on time, every time and everything is professional. I went through another organization and they hardly ever showed up on time. This one is just wonderful! She saved my life caring for my husband.

It went very well. I have been very pleased with their service! They are always punctual and professional! I plan on using them again soon!

My first choice called me on the morning she was supposed to start work to change the agreed upon hours. That was not an option; I then asked them to send my second choice, which they did. The lady was very nice and patient with my twins. A Nanny's Touch had told me they would provide a substitute nanny from a pool of nannies if my nanny could not come to work. When I needed a replacement the first time they wanted to send me an untested nanny with whom they had not previously worked; the second time they didn't have anyone available. Because of this they provided me with a refund for these days. However, the refund was not my weekly fee of $425 divided by five. I was charged approximately $12.50 for bonding even on days when a nanny was not in my home. I was very put off by this. Their website states that, "our providers are CPR and First Aid Certified". This is not an accurate statement. Of the 5 nannies I interviewed only one was CPR certified. Overall I was satisfied by my experience but they should have clarified the substitute "policy".
