This is what I found while checking the oil. I contacted Chris at Power up to look at the issue. An appointment was set up in a timely manner and the tech that came out was excellent. He found the leak on one of the oil cooler hoses. He removed the factory clamp and replaced it with a new clamp. After several weeks there hasn't been any oil in the base of the generator. I have also had Power up tech come out and adjust the valves at the recommended interval. The generator sounded much better after the valves were adjusted.

We signed the contract and placed a 50% deposit with the company on 6/21/2024. The generac generator was finally installed on 8/12/2024. Since that time we have made multiple attempts to get our permit inspection. As of 9/16/2024 we still do not have a date for the permit inspection. Messages are left ignored and there is no communication with Christopher Driver. On 9/6/2024 he requested a copy of the property survey and it was provided. Since that time â cricketsâ with no response to text messages

I got five bids from different companies and power up electrical blew everybody out of the water! They were here in 24 hours and started the job everyone was extremely courteous and they worked their butts off out there in the heat both in and out of my garage. When they were through there wasn't one Trace laying around if all the work they had done . They were very courteous and professional and the owner of the company went out of his way to make sure my wife understood everything they are definitely five stars

I hired Power Up Electrical Contractors to install a Generac generator and transfer switch. On 2/3/23, they completed the install and everything appears to operate properly. However, as part of the install, I was charged $500.00 for a city permit. When I asked for the permit to ensure I had the appropriate documentation from the county for insurance purposes, I was told that permit would be filed after the fact. Chris informed me that he would bring it when he returned, after the gas line was installed. I contacted him after the gas line was installed and he indicated he would be out on that Thursday, but he was a no-show. On 2/27, I contacted the county to check if a permit had been issued, only to find that no permit was ever pulled. In addition, I discovered the permit only costs $55. Had I known that, I never would have agreed to pay $500 for the permit. My fault for not doing the research, but $445 for labor to get a permit is ridiculous. I reached out to them again to request a refund, so I could go get the permit, but no response. Either way, I paid $500 for nothing. Something to think about if you plan to do business with Power Up.

We made the decision to upgrade our electrical service and panel (150A to 200A, new panel, cAFCI breakers). Prior to seeking a contractor, I spent a LOT of time researching the subject, and I knew exactly what the work entailed and approximately how much it should cost. I received three quotes from three different contractors and Power Up was right on the money, while the other two were considerably more (one drastically so). Let me be clear: I am not saying Power Up was some cheap, bargain-basement price. They were FAIR, and what in line with what I was expecting given the extensive research I had done. I had the pleasure of working with Jacob and Chris, the master electrician, on this project. Jacob came out and performed the estimate, I found him knowledgeable, friendly, and willing and able to answer any and all of my questions. We maintained contact during the week or so I sought competing quotes; he showed the right mix of interest in retaining me as a customer without being pushy at all. In other words, he understood that as a consumer it was prudent of me to get multiple quotes, and did not try and pressure me to select them. After I decided to retain Power Up, I was contacted by Chris, the master electrician. Like Jacob, he was friendly and willing and able to answer any of my questions. The project was split across several sessions: the first was the panel install with some but not all of the cAFCI breakers, as we did not have all of the circuits mapped out (standard over-current breakers were temporarily installed in place of the remaining cafes). Chris came out the next day (a Saturday) and patiently spent several hours flipping breakers while my girlfriend and I ran around the house seeing what they turned off. Due to the rainy weather as of late and scheduling, the service upgrade and installation of the remainder of the breakers took another week and a half before we could get it scheduled, but Chris did a great job with very professional workmanship. All in all, I was VERY pleased with the service and work I received from Power Up Electrical Contractors, and would HIGHLY recommend them to ANYONE needing electrical work, big projects, or small projects. The mix of professionalism, knowledge, pride of workmanship, and fair pricing mean that I will be discussing any and all future projects I have with them and recommending them to any friends and neighbors who need anything done. Thank you, Chris and Jacob.
