All Star Lock & Key

On 11-4-15 Tim replaced my front garage door lock keyed to my house key and repaired the two garage side door locks. When they proved too difficult to operate he came back and the following day and replaced the repaired locks with two new ones keyed to my house key and provided three extra keys. Total bill $190. He arrived at the agreed time and was courteous and professional.

Called Tim and he came out the next day and adjusted the door strike and solved my problem. He is very professional and punctual and I will call him again if the need arises.

From start to finish, All Star Lock and Key is a top notch operation. I called on a Thursday, they came on a Friday morning. They did a great job at a very competitive price, and could not have been any more personable. I highly recommend All Star Lock and Key.

Absolutely flawless. Tim showed up right on time, was friendly, knowledgable, and worked swiftly. One of the deadbolts had been opened and retuned (which I did not realize when I bought it), and it had one screw missing, but he was able to find one on his truck that worked. Then after it was on, the combination was not locking and unlocking properly (obviously why it had been returned), but he was able to problem solve it very quickly and now it works great.

Tim at All Star Lock & Key provided excellent service, and I will use him again as well as recommend him to friends and co-workers. I called Tim on Saturday after a company I have used for more than 15 years failed to respond to a scheduled appointment or to my repeated calls. Tim returned my call within a few minutes, and after discussing what I needed done, asked me to send a picture of the lock that required adjustment so that he could be certain to have the necessary parts on his truck. We agreed that he would arrive first thing Monday morning to take care of the job. Tim arrived promptly as scheduled and immediately began to get the job done. He was extremely professional and worked quickly. I felt the work was outstanding and the price exceptionally fair. I would give him the fussy homeowner seal of approval--and I am president and CEO of that organization.

Amazing service provider. Owner-operator who really takes pride in what he does. Very hard to find companies like this anymore. Prices are reasonable, timing is almost immediate. No surprises - just solutions.

I talked to him the first day of request for service he said to send him the photos of locks, which I did. then he informed me that he dosent carry these locks and will send me information and cost on similar locks . however since that time many days ago I haven't heard back from him

I called the LOCKSMITH, he was prompt and his price was good. The issue I had with him is that he didn't change the lock on the garage. I called him back and he said he had too many customers to remember me. I suppose that might be true. He said he was a one man show but he probably didn't do my house because he would never forget to lock all doors. He did change the lock for the front door, he also change the back door lock. He didn't change the garage lock. I looked up my check to see who name was on the check. I called him back and said you were the company cause your name is on the check. He then said he remembered and that I said I never lock the garage door. I probably did say I never locked it but I would not have said don't change it because I don't like keeping up with 2 set of keys. In fact he took all of the old keys with him so I am sure if he knew the garage door needed a key he wouldn't have taken the keys. It is possible he got it right. Maybe I did say it doesn't need to be locked. Maybe I was pleased with the pricing for the 2 key changes, not sure ---- not logical but he might be right, not sure. What concerns me is his Professionalism. I am locked out of my garage and he is acting unconcern. He talks about being so busy and after he leaves his last job he is going home to his family. GOOD FOR THEM! but I am still locked out and don't have access to my car. I think sensitivity and professionalism is important when a person is dealing with a LOCK OUT! He said he would come in the morning. ---but I just kept playing his tone over and over in my head. I finally came to the conclusion that as a Locksmith he is good as someone who cares about his customers, maybe not. I finally called another Locksmith, he quoted me $300.00 for one lock ---YES I SENT HIM HOME. Then I called a second one with little experience but he managed the lock. He was professional and polite. I wouldn't recommend this LOCKSMITH based on Professionalism, but if you do use him he will be reasonable cost, quick and extremely good. You just have to monitor his work and make sure you pay attention to everything he says and do. Have him walk through and check every lock with you. IF YOU CALL BACK FOR THE SAME THING, HE WILL CHANGE YOU THE SAME FEE NO MATTER WHOSE RIGHT, WHOSE WRONG. DON'T EXPECT COURTESY.

Tim is outstanding. He showed up right at the time we set the day before. He is obviously an expert at his profession. He did the job perfectly, quickly and efficiently. The price was exactly what he quoted me over the phone. He took time to explain everything and double checked to make sure everything was perfect before he left. Great guy, very personable. If you need any lock work done, this IS the guy to call.

Tim Vickers, the owner, is great! I called the night before wanting to get my locks re-keyed. This is my third time using his locksmith service. Prompt, polite, and trustworthy. He arrived on time, knew what I needed, and finished the work promptly. If I could give him an A+ I would!! Definitely using his service as my "go-to" for all types of security/locksmith needs. Put his name at the top of your list!

Tim was absolutely great to work with. I called him on 6.8.15 (based on the Angie's List reviews of past experiences), and he did a great job of asking questions, in order to verify the exact type of services that I needed. We set an appointment for 6.12.15, and Tim also provided an initial quote that was identical to the final price charged. On the day of service, Tim contacted me approx. 30 minutes prior to our 9 a.m. appt. to inform me that he was on his way to my home. Upon arrival, Tim confirmed the services to be performed & upon confirmation, he immediately went to work. Even with my dad pestering Tim the entire time, Tim completed the entire job in about an hour, and he even created duplicate keys for me, at no additional charge. I am so glad that I found Tim on Angie's List, and I would recommend him to anyone, in a heartbeat!

Tim Vickers, owner of All Star Lock & Key, was here yesterday, and installed a new doorknob, as the old one was broken. It is working perfectly and is exactly what I wanted. Tim is a very personable young man, professional but also very friendly, and he even fixed another door in my house, for free, that had a tendency to stick and was hard to open. I called Tim late Monday. He was unable to come then but offered early Tuesday morning. We agreed on 4pm Tuesday. I left work early. 4pm came and no Tim, no call to say he was coming or was delayed. I called at 4:15 and got his voice mail. I called again at 4:30 and got his voice mail. I called at 4:45 and got his voice mail, so I cancelled.

Tim was extremely punctual and professional. He arrived on time and got right to work. He completed the work in 15 minutes. I am extremely pleased with his services and highly recommend him.

I found working with All Star Key and Lock very customer oriented. They responded to my request promptly and got the work done efficiently.

He was great. He worked quickly and did a great job. Made us four copies of the key at no extra charge. He came two days after I called him!

Contacted locksmith to see about a replacement lock or a key for a door that I had no key for. Requested a picture, and from that determined that he could create a key for it. Came to the house in 2 hours, removed the lock and created a key for it. The key of course worked and now this is all taken care of . Very professional, knew his business and results great and quick. Would definitely use again
