Description of Work: I needed torsion springs replaced, and found Alloyd on Angie's List. Called them, and was surprised that they could be here in about an hour. They were prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. The work was very good. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: I have called several garage door companies and most have said that they could not repair my garage door by replacing 2 panels. It was a several years back that I had even heard that was an option but I didn't have the funds. Alloyd could. Alloyd came right out with an estimate and right out the next day with repair. They were early, professional and thorough. Everything was done quick and proper. They fixed my garage door opener. Fixed my tracks and fixed everything. Great job!

 + -1 moreI looked in Angie's list and chose to call ALLOYD since he had a good rating and was fairly close to my home. I called about 9:00 AM and explained the problem and he said he could be there between 11:00 and noon. I told him that would be fine. Although I was not home, my daughter-in-law said he arrived on time and was very efficient in fixing the door. When he called me after the work was completed, he said the door did have a crack in the middle of it but that it wasn't hampering the use of the door, and unless I just wanted to replace the door because of that crack he would just leave it alone. It was nice to know that he wasn't trying to sell me a new door just to make some extra cash. When he told me the price to fix the roller, I was pleasantly surprised. I have had quotes from other service people that it would cost $60.00 for them just to walk through my door. The repairs would be on top of the service call. I would definitely call this company again. They were on time, the price was excellent, they were very professional. It was an overall very pleasant encounter.
Description of Work: One of the rollers had come off of the garage door and neither my son or his friends could fix it.

 + -1 moreCalled at 8 am on Thursday, Jan 31. Mr. Wade Alloyd explained that he and his firm had a full day installing 6 garage doors. However, he was at my house at 8:45 and repaired everything. He was very professional and courteous. Could not ask for a better person to repair our garage door.
Description of Work: Repaired cable that lifts the garage door and tightened the main spring that operates the cables. Oiled all wheels and springs. Took about 30 minutes.

 + -1 moreThe first company told us it would cost roughly $500 to fix it, and that we would have to replace the doors. Alloyed came in and looked at the problem, told us exactly what needed to be done and fixed it for $135, and did not say we needed to replace the doors. He is honest and a good worker. I was referred to him by a friend. He came right away to fix the problem.
Description of Work: Our garage door would not go up and down on its own, so he repaired it.
