Hughes Window & Gutter Cleaning Service

I received a reminder phone call the morning of the service appointment. I received a follow-up call closer to the time of the appointment to let me know when, during the window of time that that I had been given, the workers were likely to arrive. The guys who were sent out did a great job - everything looks wonderful. They were neat while they worked, and made sure things were all cleaned up when they left. It wasn't inexpensive, but I have a lot of windows. Their price was very fair, and was less than I paid another company last year whose work was not as good.

They arrive on time and get right to work. I've used them for the outside windows (I have a two story home) and hardly know they're there while cleaning. I've used them for five years and they've always done a great job!

Do use for regular window cleaning. They do an excellent job. Don't use them for large 3 story condos or townhomes. Not sure who does that kind of work but they don't.

Very good experience. Scheduling the appointment was easy, and the central office called me exactly as requested on the day of service after the workers had arrived to confirm an exact price before proceeding. I was not originally going to be at the residence at the time of cleaning but ended up being there briefly for another reason. The workers were diligent, fast, and effective and had already finished about half the job by the time I arrived. The debris from the gutters was neatly bagged (in garbage bags that _they_ brought) and left near my garbage cans. It has not yet rained since the service so I have yet to see just how effective it was, but the obvious (even standing at ground level) clogs and accumulation of old dead leaves are no longer present.

They got right to it and cleaned the gutters...no fuss, no muss, no mess. The guys were polite and did an excellent job and cleaned up the yard and drive well afterward.

Note above. Very professional group - they send a crew that knows what they're doing and they always do a fantastic job. Any extra work you find you'd like done when they arrive and they're always accomodating. I have needed a lightbulb replaced above an exterior entry door a couple of times when they've come for window cleaning and the guys are always happy to add that service to the job. No complaints at all. Highly satisfied. All work they've done for us has been done in Southlake and Grapevine TX

They were very professional and they did an excellent job. They actually called to see if they could come early which was great. Seemed very efficient and quick but thorough. Price seemed to be about average but we did get our discount.

This company arrived nearly an hour after agreed time, and then gave me an estimate that far exceeded what was discussed on the phone ($8 / window vs. the prices quoted on Angie's list). Impossible to discuss the issue as the men they sent were not fluent in English, and no answer at the office when I called (during business hours). A huge aggravation as I had to be home on a weekday for this company, which does not operate on weekends.No

It was a great experience. I received an estimate over the phone based on typical gutter lengths for the size of our home. We were able to schedule an appointment for the next day to get a formal quote and if we accepted the quote, to immediately perform the job. They arrived a few minutes before the planned time, gave us a quote that was slightly less than first estimated over the phone, and then with our acceptance, immediately went to work. They were very courteous and professional. As one other reviewer noted, they left the premises cleaner than when they arrived -- removing not just the debris that they removed from the gutters, but some of the other leaves and twigs that were around the property. We are very happy with this company and based on this experience, they will be high on our list when we're ready to have someone come out to clean our windows.

They were prompt, they came out within the window of time that they provided, and they were professional and courteous. We ended up using someone else because he happened to be here for something else. Hughes gave a price that was very reasonable and there was nothing wrong with the company.

After comparing their estimated price with others, I decided not to choose them because I was uncomfortable with their "at a distance" estimating method, that they would "requote before starting the job." To me, that left me open to much higher charges, unless I opted on the spot not to use their services. I feel that is bad business practice on their part. I rated them C overall because of that issue, as I couldn't comment on their final price, quality, or responsiveness.

I haven't been up there to look at my gutters but it seems like everything is unclogged. They were nice and came out promptly. It was within a couple of days of my call. They billed me and I sent in a check because I wasn't home. It was pretty straightforward. I think they would have come that same day but I had something else that I had to do.
