Job was done well and on time.
Windshield drain was still plugged - there must have been more than one drain. Returned car to them and they took the panel apart and cleaned it out and opened up all drains. They did the drain repair over and did not charge for it.
They did not do a thorough fix on the drain the first time, but were responsive and finished the repair.
They made a mistake, which happens, and then made it right which doesn't always happen.

I went to this place because it was close to home and it was a Christian based business, so I felt like I would get treated fairly. My AC died and I checked several places and found that it would likely need a new compressor for around $600 or so. The shop kept stressing to me that there was no way to gurantee that the compressor was the problem unless I replaced all parts of the AC system, and they could not warranty the repair for two years unless I had it all replaced. I needed the car back quickly and couldn't spend the time to shop it around so I agreed to the work. But I had a hard time getting a hold of them to check the status. When I picked it up I asked the guy what they would charge to replace the broken door handles on my 2001 Camry and they said they would have to get back with me, but they never did. And when I tried to leave a comment on their website it would not let me leave one. The AC works great so they did quality work, and it's guaranteed for two years. But it was three times what I expected to pay, and they are not very responsive or easy to communicate with.

The experience was the worst I've ever had with a repair shop.
I took the car on a road trip right after the catalytic converter was and quot;repaired.and quot; During the trip the check engine light came on. I had it checked out by a dealership in another city, and they told me it was due to the converter. However, since it had just been serviced, they said it was probably okay and they reset the internal computer to turn off the check engine light. They said if the problem persisted to take it back to Christian Brothers.
While driving the car on another trip a month later, the check engine light came on again. This time, I had an additional issue with transmission fluid overheating. I didn't want to risk damage to my car, so I used AAA to tow my car 200 miles back to the same Christian Brothers.
The next day, I was told by Christian Brothers that I needed a new catalytic converter (along with replacing the transmission). This, after my car was vandalized in their lot, and they and quot;fixedand quot; it. They wanted to charge me more than $1,700 to put in a new catalytic converter! Are you kidding me? The converter was fine before the car went in for other service. It was damaged due to vandalism on their property, and all they did was weld the cables back together -- which of course, didn't last.
I had my insurance company review the damage, and also an independent dealership, to determine that there had been cables WELDED. Not replaced. They both told me that the thing to do would have been to replace the catalytic converter and cables in the first place.
Even after the two independent reviews, I had to call Christian Bros. back several times (the guy I was working with would NOT call me back...ignored me several times). He didn't call me back until the very end -- when I was one step away from small claims court. The shop finally agreed to replace the catalytic converter at no charge. They called it a and quot;goodwilland quot; gesture, after causing me two months of grief.
As for the big dent and scratches in my car, I chose NOT to let Christian Brothers repair my car. That was another issue that ticked me off. The car was damaged while in their possession. The guy I worked with said, and quot; You chose to leave it here in our lot overnight.and quot; SERIOUSLY? They told me I could leave the car overnight, and took the keys for safekeeping.
And as for the dent and scratch repairs, I would have to do it on my own time. Take my car to shop that partners with Christian Brothers a few miles away, on my own time, to have someone else fix the damage. They didn't offer a rental car, nor did they offer to take care of the repairs themselves. They would cover the cost of the repairs, but there was no offer to help with anything else. Major inconvenience for me -- and I'd be without my car...again.
Oh, and to add insult to injury: I decided, after all that had happened, it was time to get another car. I did that, and decided to sell my older car separately. I didn't trade it in to the dealership The guy at Christian Brothers called me and asked what I was going to do about my car. Was I going to fix the transmission? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
Then he offered me $1,000 for my car. He would fix it up and sell it. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? You didn't repair my car properly after it was vandalized in your possession. Then you tried to sell me a new converter...for another $1,700?
And then... you have the nerve to call and offer to buy my car for less than it's worth so you can fix it and make a profit on it?
I'll never take a car to Christian Brothers again. Most un-Christian behavior.

My car has worked perfectly since they worked on it. The estimate and work description that they gave me were exactly what appeared on my bill when the work was done. They also told me I would probably need to replace the catalytic converter before too long. Since they do not do that kind of work, the service manager recommended a company that he felt was reliable and reasonable. I appreciated the recommendation very much.

I've used Christian Brothers on Midway twice for service on one of my vehicles, and both experiences were outstanding. I made an appointment over their web site. The appointment was confirmed ahead of time, and my vehicle was there on time for service. The people there are very polite and professional. They are communicative and explain the exact service performed over the phone and at the counter. I also appreciated the free wi-fi internet in the lobby, that enabled me to get some work done while I waited for a ride. And the drop off and pick up service to retrieve my vehicle has been invaluable to me. I will continue to use Christian Brothers for all my vehicle maintenance needs.

Brought in a 2001 Acura MDX for AC repair. AC had stopped blowing altogether. Also asked them to do an oil and filter change. They provided an up-front estimate, very reasonable, for diagnosing the problem with the AC and then letting me know what it would cost to repair it. TOld me they were packed today, but would at least get to my car to see what the issue was...and then they'd let me know how long it would take to repair, plus provide an estimate for additional cost. They were AWESOME. Called us back within a few hours with an estimate to fix the AC -- a resistor needed to be replaced. They also replaced the AC filter. They also did the oil/filter change. They did a thorough inspection of the car and provided a list of other potential issues -- short-term and long-term. Nothing out of range; just things that made sense, given the age and mileage on the Acura. We chose to have one more service performed -- the battery cables were worn, covered with corrosives...so they cleaned everything and replaced the cables. Also provided estimates for the next "big" service that should be done when the car reaches its next mileage milestone. Their estimate was far better than what the dealership charges. Couldn't believe they got my car done, given how busy they were in this heat -- and on a Friday. But they did! Everyone was friendly and polite. They explained things to me so I knew exactly what was going on, and exactly what to expect. They do a great job. They're trustworthy. They don't try to upsell you on auto service you don't need. You feel like a valued customer when you visit their shop. They just earned my loyalty; I'll be back. The dealership won't be seeing me as much! They also work on my spouse's Acura and they worked on his old Accord before he sold it. He's been very pleased as well; that's why I tried Christian Brothers this time. I was not disappointed!

Very well. Anthony and Rick were both very professional, returned calls in a reasonable time, left detailed messages, and returned my truck at the time promised. I did pay a lot more than they quoted initially, but I felt they were not giving me the runaround and I would very likely pay a lot more at a dealer (where I used to take it). They even offered to drive me to work or home when I dropped it off, but I did not need that this time.

Less important, but noticeable things were that the shop was very clean and the waiting room was comfortable and quiet. No one seemed to be wasting time or standing around joking like you see at other repair shops. They seemed very disciplined and focused here, which is rare in an auto repair shop.

I was pleased. The vehicle definitely runs better now. I tested the air conditioner, and it seems to work perfectly, but I won't know for sure how that repair went until warmer weather comes. I appreciated Rich's ability to thoroughly explain all of the work that was done to the vehicle. I also appreciated the shuttle service that was provided to and from work, and the wifi internet that was provided while I waited on the shuttle. They get a B for punctuality because the part for the running light didn't come in on time, causing my vehicle to have to be left overnight.

I took the Jeep in to Christian Brother after having taken it to the dealer for the same issue because we had previously had a really good experience with them. The air conditioning was not as cold as it should be and it was making a hissing noise. I waited while they did the diagnostics. When they came out to give me the results, they gave the expansion valve as a reason for the problem which was what the dealer had diagnosed. The estimate for the repair of the expansion valve at $450 which included a $79 diagnostic fee. My husband questioned the cost when they called to say the car was ready (we already had an estimate from dealer). Rich was adamant on the phone that the charges were correct, but when we arrived to pick up the car, the price now was lower excluding the diagnostic fee. They also had a list of other items that needed attention totaling a whopping $1500 including replacement of the oil pressure sending unit. The oil pressure sending unit had been replaced by this Christian Brothers location just over a month ago. For a company who is supposed to pride themselves in honest, ethical treatment of their customers, this experience had neither of those.

I have a 10 year old car right now that needs too much work to put the money into it, and they were very honest about letting me know that is was not worth the repair. They will transport you if you need a ride. They're very trustworthy, they don't do any unnecessary work, and you know they're going to use good parts. They stand by their work.

I took my car, which had been stalling intermittently, to CB, based on a favorable review from Angie's List. CB charged $69.95 to diagnose the problem (many shops provide a free estimate). While they were unable to provide a specific reason for the car trouble, they made a few recommendations to remedy it, and I had the spark plugs replaced and fuel injection service performed. When I went to pick up the car, the service manager showed me another potential problem with the ignition switch, and during this process, the starter motor cut out and the car would not restart. So suddenly my car went from fixed to worse, than when I brought it in. I was told the starter motor would need to be replaced for about $300. The car is now running fine, but we had a bad consumer experience. The svc manager may not have broken the starter motor, but it sure appeared that way. I tried negotiating a reasonable resolution to the situation, but the owner refused to give me any consideration.

I feel they are very trustworthy and do great work. Their lobby is like someone's nicely decorated and very clean living room, it is very attractive. They will also drive me home and pick me up if the job is going to take a little while. Norman Glass is their top person and he is a very nice man to deal with. They are very professional, organized, and very good with paper work and receipts. We are considering the purchase of a new vehicle and i was pleased to learn that they service all types of automobiles, foreign and domestic. I will definitely continue using them.
