Do not use this company!!! I thought this was a great deal because they lure you in with the low cost of the packages. Well it took several months to make an appointment, after leaving messages and missed calls. When I finally scheduled an appointment, I was told that deep cleaning would be part of my package, only to find out at the last minute that it wasn't. On the day before my appointment, Ms. Amy? told me to expect a call from management because they did not have anyone who could do the job. I told them to cancel my package due to dificulty scheduling, miscomunication and unavailability. I requested a refund my money. I was told it would take 7-10 business days to see the refund posted. Well after several weeks there was still no refund. I made several calls and email to the company, only to be told that it had been refunded and to check with my bank. My account and bank never showed the refund. Eventually I filed a dispute with my bank and it was credited to my account but AYS NEVER validated the refund. I caution you DO NOT use this company!!!! It's a scam!!!!

I purchased a voucher for house cleaning through socialliving for this company to come out to clean my house. The Voicemail I got when I tried to contact the company to schedule said all scheduling was done through email so I sent them an email with the information that they required. Their message said I should hear back with 48 hours and when I didn't hear back, I sent another message. I waited another 48 hours and then contacted socialliving who was very responsive and connected me AYS. Their representative was very rude, made excuses, and then said it would be another week or two before they could come out, and fine print, extra cost for going 10 miles out of their zone. She kept talking over me, wouldn't let me talk and was one of the worst customer service reps I've ever dealt with. When I told them that their email address was spelled incorrectly on their website, the line died, not sure if they hung up on me or what. Social Living is refunding my money through a credit, they were responsive when the housecleaning service wasn't. The AYS people mentioned they'd sold 2,000 vouchers. It appears they bit off way more than they could chew and are taking it out on their customers. AYS - COMMUNICATION - F CUSTOMER SERVICE - F STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!
Description of Work: Ran into way too many problems and frustration with this company before they even walked in the door. Cut my losses and walked away from them.

Stay away from this company. They get their business by offering too-good-to-be-true deals through services like LivingSocial. I purchased a deal for 3 hours of house cleaning for $60. The fine print of the deal says that if you live more than 20 miles from X zip code, you will need to pay an additional travel fee of $15. I live about 22 miles from the zip, but I was totally ok with paying the extra money. To book an appointment, you can do one of three things 1) email them at the address on their website (which will come back as undeliverable); 2) submit a request for an appointment through their website. You have to wait about 1-2 days for them to call you and if you miss their call because you work during the day (like me) then you have to send another request in and wait another 1-2 days. 3) you can call them and leave a message. And wait 1-2 days for them to call you back. It took me over a week to get my appointment booked because you can never get a live person on the phone. When I finally got someone on the phone, they were actually really nice and helpful. She looked up my address online and explained about the $15 fee - which I paid. She also gave me the opportunity to upgrade my package to include cleaning blinds and baseboards for another $55 or so. I signed up for that as well. We booked an appointment for about a week out and I was pretty excited about it. I took the day off of work to be home when the cleaning people came. The appointment was at 8am. I was told to expect them anytime between 7:45 and 8:30. At 9:00 they still weren't there. Finally, my phone rings and they tell me that because I live more than 20 miles away from "the" zip code they will not be able to offer me service and will not be coming to clean my house. I told the person that this would have been good info to know prior to them already being an hour late to the appointment and prior to me wasting a day of of work. Also, I reminded the person that neither the written terms of the deal on Living Social nor the person I spoke to when I booked my appointment said this was the case. In fact, I was told the opposite - no problem servicing the area as long as I pay the $15. I was left with company coming into town for the weekend and absolutely no time to schedule a cleaning with another company. They had absolutely no concern for the inconvenience to me, their customer. Nor were they concerned about doing anything to make it right. I was told I would receive a refund in 3 days. 10 days later I still had not received the refund. The only way I finally got my money back from them was by going to their FB page and complaining there. Especially when you are bringing people into your home to provide a service, you want those people to be trustworthy and dependable. AYS Housekeeping is neither of those things. Frankly, there are so many other cleaning services that are much more reputable, I would recommed you not waste your own time and money on a deal that at the end of the day is no deal at all.
Description of Work: I booked 3 hours of housecleaning plus an upgrade package to include baseboard and blind cleaning. They no-showed the appointment, so the service was not provided.
