Purchased a new Denon receiver from Best Buy and wanted it installed Installer 5 hours late, had little experience or knowledge about my receiver and didn't know about wireless HDMI system. After 2 hours left with nothing been done. Extremely disappointed in the service I received from this third-party Best Buy installer. The Texas Home Pros team arrived at my home an hour past the appointment time frame. The only stated reason was they were on a job “until 1am the night before.” That should have been red flag number one. The main contact was extremely unprofessional. He talked nonstop badly about his previously customers. I laughed off the conversation, urging him to move on with our install as he was already an hour late. Shannon and his help began to install the wall oven. All seemed well. They never expressed any concern. I re-entered the room after taking a work call and my cabinets were splintered from the wall to ceiling. Shannon proceeded to place blame on me. Claiming I told him to “squeeze it in” .... I never did anything of the sort as I was not even in the room when they placed the oven into the wall. He was extremely unprofessional and rude as I expressed my disappointment over him leaving the job in a worse place than he found it. I would not recommend. This man is clearly not skilled to complete his job and lacks ability to accept blame for his mistakes. I am very disappointed that I now have to spend additional money to fix the mistakes from his carelessness. Thank goodness Best Buy will reimburse me, but I feel bad they contracted such a careless, uneducated installer in the first place.
