I am a first time home owner. Richard was very kind and responsive to my many questions. He reassured me and let me take my time making choices without pressuring me to close a sale. He told me it would be like a new home and he was right. It is amazing!!!! I am already trying to plan the rooms I didn’t do this time.

They waisted two weeks of my time waiting for them to commit to the work, customer service very poor.

Quite fast and good service

The painting was great! They painted two coats , the crew was careful, cover everything. Every corner and everywhere where two paint colors meet is perfect. My problem was that the scheduling. Richard texted me at 6:15am in the morning that his crew was coming that day. I get that Houston is super busy right now - post Harvey, would have liked at least 24 hour advance notice of his crew coming. The crew was nice and Richard is very nice to work with. I would hire him again.

Great job, very happy. Would recommend to anyone. Sometimes did not get call back but know very busy here in Houston. I would certainly use them again.

Richard and his team of painters were excellent. This company is on the expensive side but it means they pay attention to detail. They removed all of the blinds to properly paint around my windows, removed mirrors in the bathroom to paint behind them, and removed electric covers to fully paint without painting on them. The men were cheerful, friendly, and productive. Richard was also very flexible. I called him a week before the scheduled start time to add a drywall repair. Then a day before the start I called to add my garage door repaint to the job. Richard added the extra work and his team completed everything within 7 hours - painting 75% of my home, repairing and painting drywall, and painting my garage door. They also showed up on time. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reputable company that does an excellent job.

Richard was awesome to work with. He did some additional repairs for me at no extra charge. He worked with me on the price so it would fit my budget and I am extremely happy with him.

Richard Rhodes, the owner is an easy going straight forward man. He was not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. I spoke to 4 painting contractors and he was the man. Awesome job and on the schedule I needed. Already referred him and hired him to do my parents house. 5+Stars for Protect Painters!!

Protect Painters did a fantastic job on our whole house painting project. Richard and his crew are professional and their prices are great. I would without a doubt recommend them.

They painted the exterior of our home earlier this year & power washed our patio & driveway. The end product was really great. They were nice to work with & very professional. They were also able to take care of my project even faster than originally promised. I would definitely use them again on future projects.

Richard and his team did an excellent job for us. They replaced all weak and rotting trim work, caulked all existing windows and doors and made our house, patio and pool areas beautiful again including the decks. A great job at a fair price completed on time as contracted. Would definitely use again.

The owner responded rapidly to my request for a quote. He made a thorough assessment of some water damage we needed repaired, and explained how the repairs would be made. In addition to making the assessment, Richard arrived to introduce the painters, and came back while the painters were finishing up to see if I had any issues and to make sure I was happy with the state of things after cleanup. The painting team was highly professional. In two days they taped, floated and textured about 100 sq ft of corners and seams damaged by water. The texturing was an exact match, both for brush/trowel and for blown texture. They painted about 4000 sq ft including a two-story atrium and an extremely tedious area at the base of stair and balcony rails. I highly recommend this franchise. The owner is pleasant and professional, as are the paint team members. They know their stuff, they are efficient, and they work hard.

Great value for the money. Painting crew was great, quality of job is outstanding and Richard Rhodes delivered what was promised. Will hire again soon for some smaller jobs.
