I called their office number and was successful in scheduling an appointment 2 days from the date of the call. David arrived at the predetermined 10:00 am time frame and was very professional and friendly. He also gave me some helpful plumbing tips. He was quick to complete the job and also disposed of the old grill for me. Excellent work and will definitely call them the next time i need a plumber.

We discovered a leaking water supply line in my recently-purchased home, which was built in 1999. The supply line and valve were of the old one-piece design that required replacing both. The office staff at JD Precision were very courteous and helpful during scheduling. Benjamin came out the following morning in a stocked van, and I found him to be very friendly and professional. He provided an estimate which was in line with what I'd read the approximate cost of this repair would be. He had the appropriate products in his van and completed the work quickly. Since I'm new to the home and (unwisely) hadn't located the main water shut-off before, I followed him to see where it was before he started. We discovered some potentially sketchy repairs that had been made to the pipe and previous valve by the original homeowner. His opinion was that if the repair eventually failed, it would be apparent early as a slight leak and provide ample time to schedule another visit. I appreciated his not taking advantage of my lack of plumbing knowledge and not pressing to sell further services which may not be necessary. Based on this experience and other positive reviews on this site, I will call JD Precision for future plumbing repairs.

Gunnar was waiting for me when I arrived at my house and brought the toilet he had picked up at the store. He went into the bathroom where the old toilet had already been taken out and placed the new toilet. He cleaned up any messes that were made and he hauled off the old toilet (for a small extra fee). He worked quickly and behaved in a professional manner. He gave me a coupon for future plumbing services.

No call, no show. I received no call that they would not be there to meet me as promised. When I called in, the representative could not tell me when/if they would show up. When I asked to have the manager/owner to call me, the representative would not do so. Very unprofessional company and I would not recommend them in the future.

Work was completed to more than my expectations, very very pleased. Kitchen leak was in a copper pipe and fixed with no difficulty But then plumber worked on the outside faucet which also connected to the kitchen faucet. He went the extra mile in increasing the length of the outside faucet making it easier to attach a hose it was so close to the side of the house before, a knuckle beater. The work to be done on the outside faucet was to fix house shutoff valve and I wanted an extra T adaptor added preparing for future water line to be run out to my back yard shed. Plumber revamped the single water line changing out old copper pipe for PVC while putting on new shut off valve for the house then he installed a separate shut off valve for the shed so that should a leak occur at the shed we would still have water in the house. I was surprised and pleased that he took that fact into consideration, something I never would have thought of to do. Extremely happy for the extra thoughtfulness. The drippy tub faucet was a nightmare and took around five hours. I replaced the old tub fixtures with new and all worked well but with usage the leak began. There was no way the faucets could be hand tightened enough so the pipes in the wall had to be exposed for the plumber to work on connections. It turns out the previous builder of this house used mobile home fixtures and a cold water pipe for the hot which could have melted if water had reached that high of a temp. So all old piping had to be cut out, plumber then had to shop for correct pipes/sizes to grandfather in the old two faucet system due to the new code is a single unit to prevent scalding. Unfortunately because of this new code companies are fazing out two handle faucets in tubs so plumber also had to shop for new tub fixtures which didn't coordinate with my original color choice. He was very patient in working with me to accept the new knobs and I didn't have to accept the wrong color water spout because leak was due to the pipe area that held knobs. And to top it off as to the fact that I would use JD Plumbing again and recommend their service to all is that the plumber agreed to find my septic tank for no charge and offered his opinion on the purchase of a new hot water heater when I remodeled or utilizing the old one (because a contractor had told me, if it isn't broke don't spend the money to replace it). Well it turned out to be a 7 yr old heater with an estimated 2-3 yrs left so plumber advise was this, "If you are going to spend money to remodel and get the hot water heater up to code which it isn't at this point it would be to your benefit to get a new so that you have a longer warranty. Spending the little extra at the time of remodeling may save you extra expense if there is any damage should this old one go out." His reasoning and opinion gave me more confidence in my original thought to change out water heater at the time of remodeling, even if it did work fine now. When I am ready for the hot water heater remodeling up to code work I will be calling JD Plumber Services.

Three days ago I noticed that there was very little water coming out of my hot water pipe in my bath room tube. The next morning, there was water seeping out of my carpet, where it meets the slate floor into the bath room. I just knew this was going to be a major job because where the water was showing up at. I thought they would have to tear up my slate flooring. Let me back up here. This house was built in 1975 and my husband and I purchased it in 2008 (my husband passed away 8 months later). Needless to say, I knew nothing about where the pipes are laid in this house. I checked the ceiling, the tub access in the bedroom, walls, everywhere and found no water leaks except at the door. I immediately joined Angie's List to find someone who knew about plumbing and how to work with slate flooring. I found J D Precision Plumbing Services and called them on 9/24/2013. The young lady I spoke with was very nice and polite and said she would send out someone to look at it the following morning on 9/25/2013. The plumber, whose name is Gunner, arrived very promptly, and immediately tried to locate the problem. He checked the same places I did and we still couldn't find the leak. He then noticed that the wallpaper behind the toilet was rippled. He crawled under the cabinet sink and removed the panel, damp, but no leak. This was starting to bother both of us. Then he asked where the shut off valve was to the house and I told him it was located right outside the bath room wall outside. Then it hit me! My Golden Retriever had come into the house two days before with mud on his front paws. I immediately went to check the shut off valve, and sure enough, the pipe had sprung a pin hole leak! If it hadn't been for my dog I think we would still be scratching our heads. In no time, Gunner replaced the pipe. I would like to say that Gunner was very polite and professional. I thought the repairs would cost me around 3,000.00 because of the slate floor. Instead, I was charged only 350.00, which I thought was very reasonable . I WILL most assuredly use JD Precision Plumbing Services again!!!

I had a warranty under JD Precision Plumbing Services and they did some work for me under the warranty that was great. They had changed out my hot water heater and outside spigots that leaked and they were covered under my warranty. My warranty is no longer effective, but when I had a recent plumbing problem, I still called them and they went ahead and took care of everything. I had to pay for it, but I still chose them. I prefer their service, even now that I'm no longer under their warranty.
