AMAZING LANDSCAPING

Called Amazing Landscaping on May 24th to discuss project and schedule a consultation. To my surprise, Jason Armstrong, owner, was able to come to my house the same day. Jason understood what needed to get done and made further recommendations. Within a week's time the quote was emailed to me. The project didn't get completed until July 5th & 6th due to our vacation plans. I did indicate that I'd be available any time after June 19th at which time Jason indicated he'd get something scheduled around that date. After returning I sent a text message and an email indicating that we were ready for the project to start...no date had been scheduled yet. After a few days I called Jason, and he said his crew would be out no later than the last week of June or by the end of the first week of July. He did meet the timeline he told me, just no actual start date, rather, a grouping of days. I'm sure this is due to other projects and whether they are on schedule or not. Once the crew arrived, Jason reviewed our needs and then passed that along to his crew. The crew was professional and did a thorough job. The existing mulch was removed before installing the new mulch. The ledge rock was stacked two, sometimes three stones high to provide dimension. We had to modify one part of the layout a few times in order to get the results we expected, and the crew was very accommodating to our needs. The crew was also nice enough to replace existing metal edging with the left over ledge stones to finish the look, which wasn't part of the original plan. They also did a good job cleaning up at the end of each day! The only thing I wish I would've done while Jason and the crew was still at our house was run through the irrigation system for the zones that had irrigation changes. There was one area where the sprinkler head was partially covered by the new ledge stones preventing it from rising; however, we were able to simply move the stones a bit to free the sprinkler head for it to function properly. I did get another quote and was more impressed with Jason's expertise and knowledge as well as his recommendations than the other company! I would use Amazing Landscaping Solutions again!

They did a good job. They now maintain the lawn. They're always punctual and on time. A lot of different service is available here in The Woodlands and these guys come on a regular basis.

Jason designed the landscaping and the water flow diversion (very important to my husband) and planted trees  and installed LOTS of bull rock in the summer of 2014 then this summer (2015) he came pack and planted plants and finished our front yard including a new walkway.  He's very patient and he and his team are incredibly professional.  We are now using them for our regular lawn care.

went well, although rain caused many delays, it worked out great, and the landscaping is maturing nicely.

What a fantastic response to my leaking valve. A single call, and they said "consider it handled within the hour"   Handled perfectly, which was great because my valve cracked, and I had to be at work. Excellent service, insisted on invoicing me, and was done within 2 hours of my call.   I'd definitely recommend, and definitely use again

My normal lawn care service just quit coming to service the lawn, I could not reach them by phone, I was going to be moving so I needed someone in a hurry so the house would be in good shape for the next tenants.   Jason was prompt in arriving for the appt., provided me an estimate and agreed to come over the next Tuesday with a crew.   I was out of town when they came, but they did a fairly good job but there were some things not done that were supposed to be, I called Jason when I returned to town and he had the crew back over the next day and everything was remedied to my satisfaction.  

I do think the price was a little high for services provided but not too over the top.   

I got several quotes for my sprinkler and sod project and although Jason's quote at Amazing Landscaping was a little higher than some of the other quotes - I felt it was the most comprehensive and accurate quote of all.  Jason, the owner of the company, took the time to come out to my home and accurately calculate the supplies and labor needed to complete my project.  He provided a detailed quote that listed each item with an individual price for materials and labor.  This was my primary reason for selecting him as my vendor.  The other vendors failed to provide details leading me to believe they may later increase their price once they were awarded and started the project.

I had three separate crews working on the project.  The sprinkler team, the ground prep team and the sod laying team.  The various workers arrived promptly on their scheduled days and worked quickly and efficiently.  At then end of each day they were careful to pick up all of their equipment and clean off my sidewalks and driveways. 

The sprinkler team installed a great system that allowed the new sod to take root quickly.  They scheduled an appointment to walk me through the process of scheduling the sprinkler zones and times for maximum efficiency.

The ground prep team did and amazing job of removing the old sod and leveling and preparing the backyard for new grass.  Three workers spent 1-1/2 days performing the back-breaking labor necessary to provide a clean pallet for the new sod.  When they were done not a single weed survived!

The sod laying team brought beautiful, insect-free, weed-free grass.  They carefully laid the sod and meticulously cut it around the new sprinkler heads. The finished product left almost undetectable seams - unlike some installations I've seen where you can see each square of sod.

Jason returned on the final day and inspected all of the work in addition to answering any of my questions.  He has always quickly responded to follow up questions and I have already scheduled him for my next landscaping project.  It's been three months since the project was completed and my grass in thriving despite this summer's intense heat and drought conditions.

All was done very well; I only had one problem - unfortunately it was a rather large one.  They faced the boards on the fence the wrong way and caused me to be in violation of the covenants  in The Woodlands.  As a matter of fact, they did not ask me how I wanted the boards faced; I wanted it exactly like the old one but they neither asked me what I wanted nor did they know the "rules."  Lesson learned - next time I will be more specific and will not make any assumptions at all.

(04/05/2010) We got several phone estimates and they are the only ones that actually came out to do the estimate. Jason Armstrong is the owner of the company and he was wonderful. He was very efficient and had several good suggestions. We did hire him and he should be coming out this week to do the work. He was very responsive. We had put in a phone call in to him late on a Friday and the recording said he would get back within 24 hours on a business day. We heard back from him on Monday and he came out the very next day. He was running about five minutes late and he called us fifteen minutes ahead of time to say that he would be five minutes late. He was very professional. UPDATE (04/23/2010) They arrived bright and early 7:30 when they said they would, and did all of the work described above in a total of 8 hours. They cleaned up the entire back yard area of all sod and removed it from the site, as well as fully cleaning up the driveway of spilt sand and dirt - the area was cleaner than when they got here. They were very professional, had us try all sprinkler zones once done to be sure the heads were clear. A professional job was done given care instructions. We will have them back in a few months to have them finish the area we left fenced off so the dogs had a place to run.

Jason & his crew did an excellent job. They arrived on time every morning and worked throughout the day even w/o Jason around. If I wanted some minor changes such as moving a plant or adjusting the walkway, they did it willingly and w/o hesitation. After every major addition, Jason reviewed the job w/ his to ensure our satisfaction. We were having issues w/ standing water & after he adjusted that area, we still had a problem, but it also flooded a part of the neighbor's yard. He made some more adjustments and now both areas drain properly. At the end of the day everything was cleaned up. Jason & his crew were very professional, and we felt Jason was also very ethical.

We are pleased. They did a fantastic job. They are timely-show up when they say the will. They are very ethical.
