Avalawn Tree Service took down large oak tree down to the ground in my front yard. Very professional work, and cleaned up everything before they left. Parts of the tree started to grow back, and Avalawn trimmed, killed, and hauled off free of charge! What a deal! Highly Recommended!

The patio was fine for 2 years.  After that it started to hold water on the surface which washed out the sand base underneath.  The patio started to collapse.  When we contacted Nathan in the summer of 2015, he told us he couldn't come out because he was too busy with his landscaping services in the summer.  We waited until October and then he told us he no longer had any workers that did flagstone work.  The patio has continued to deteriorate, and is not a safe structure.  We have had over 10 contractors here to look at a repair, but no one will do it.  They say the design was poor and it will have to been torn out and redone.  Quite a chunk of change for a piece of garbage.

They came to do some leaf removal for the back and front of the yard.  They provide a lock and key so I can lock my back gate. This is so I don’t have to leave my gate open and it is more convenient for me. He is real responsive and has good communication skills as we use texting. He is very consistent and thorough with his work.

Their weekly service cost me $40. I haven't been using their services anymore and probably I might not use them again in the future.

I recommend them, Nathan the owner is very helpful and professional. I had them do an initial cleanup and he was very fouthcoming and stuck to an estimate. They are punctual, do a good job, and are very quick.

A large oak over the back of my garage had some damaged limbs and some that were too close to the roof. There was also, another place where limbs needed to be cut back. They came when they said and worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up everything before they left. My trees look great. I will use them again when I need tree work done.

I had contacted them through the Angies List email link on a Sunday night for lawn service the following week. There were multiple communication problems, starting with them saying they didn't receive the email sent through Angie's List, then that they didn't receive the right address for a quote, and finally that they didn't receive multiple calls and emails. They also require a month's service paid up front which is pretty unusual for a lawn service. They have you sign a contract, but then don't give you a copy of it. I got uncomfortable with all the glitches and canceled. It took several days to get a reply. Although they agreed to refund my money, they said they didn't receive a lot of phone calls, emails and texts. I have no idea what the service is like; it sounds like other customers are pleased. The price was very reasonable. But I find them very difficult to communicate with and that was at the start. I decided it wasn't worth taking a chance on them, given how hard they are to reach by phone, email or text. I want to be able to easily reach a provider, not have to hunt them down. UPDATE: As stated above, I did receive my security deposit back in about a week.  Thank you.

We contacted Avalawn after seeing their signs in yards in our neighborhood. Nathan, the owner, came to do an estimate for trimming some large, overgrown bushes and to do our weekly yard service. We were very please with both of his bids and gave him both jobs - and I'm so glad that we did! They did a terrific job on the trimming and cleaned up completely afterwards. They do an excellent job on our weekly maintenance; it's a pleasure to come home each Friday and see how neat and clean the yards look. They don't cut the grass too short, which has been a problem with other services. The trimming is very neatly done and everything is blown clean. Couldn't be more pleased, especially for $30 per week.

They come out every Tuesday. I have a verbal agreement with them and I am continuing to use them. They are doing some lawn work in my second home now. They do an excellent job. We are very pleased with their service and price. We get billed once a month. The person who runs it is Mr. Mason. He is very laidback and very easy to work with. They come to this part of town on Tuesdays. All they do is edging. It’s a huge job because they have to do work in three quarters of an acre. They edge the whole area. We have lots of flower beds.

Their trimming is very neat and they trim out far, so that when you're mowing you don't have to get so close to the flower beds. They've done a really good job. They've been there every Tuesday since I started with them. Everything looks really nice.
