 + -1 moreThey loaded and unloaded items and everything was great. A few non-critical items were broken.
Description of Work: They moved me from an apartment to storage and then I also rented a truck to move items into a ranch home.

Description of Work: I rented a pick-up truck from U-Haul for 1 mo. Paid bill at end of mo. than extended contract for 1 wk. At end of next wk. called again to extend another wk. to take trip to New Orleans for Labor Day weekend. While out on the town,I came back to truck just in time to see a tow truck hooking up to the truck in the parking lot.Tow truck driver said U-Haul called him to pick up the truck. I got on the phone to U-Haul right away but nobody could tell me why the truck was being taken away. This was also very embarassing because the tow truck was blocking other people who wanted to leave the parking lot.And the police were also called. The next day I contacted U-Haul again and a rep. said she would try to find out what was going on,and have someone contact me. That never happened. So I get stuck in N.O. without a truck that I depended on to get back to work in Indy. I am extremly dissapointed with U-Haul and will never rent from them again,and will tell everyone I know about this experience.

 + -1 moreIt was a good experience. They determined the size vehicle I would need. They explained the operation of the truck and the different options of a truck, van or trailer and the pros and cons of the move. They explained things to look out for during the travel with more than 1 truck.
Description of Work: I moved some household furnishings and items from Nashville to Memphis. We used 2 trucks.
