Overall not completly happy. Lack of urgency in resolving workmanship and ditching a customer after the job is done doesn't leave me much confidence in referrals and future improvements to my propertie.

Selected Carl because he was very punctual and thorough with the estimate, and he said they would be done with work in 3 weeks (prior to Thanksgiving).. I think he know what he's doing, but unfortunately, we didn't see enough of Carl. Crew worked much better when Carl was present, but he wasn't around much. There were many days when they started very late, and a few days where they couldn't get any work done due to other jobs that were always more of a priority than mine. Work was supposed to take 2-3 weeks The work wasn't completed after 6 weeks (mid-December), so we paid the bulk of the payment and asked them to leave until the new year so we could decorate and enjoy Christmas. We haven't talked since and will find someone else to finish up. A lot of the work was painting, and the full-time painter (Boomer) was good. Unfortunately his help was limited, and not all that good. Clean-up guys damaged hard woods, and Carl had to re-stain. it looks fine now, but seems like that shouldn't have been an issue. Work was basically okay, but timing was a very big problem. Very disappointed. Thought I had found someone that I could turn to for other remodeling issues.

I was in kind of an emergency situation, and I was trying to change the locks on my own doors after having bought the locks from Home Depot. Well, it was turning out to be tougher than I thought. I asked Carl, last minute, if he could stop by my house that same night. He came as soon as he could and replaced all 4 of my locks in a short time. He was very nice and didn't mind making a house call on such short notice. Highly recommended!

WELL I CALLED CARL AND HE FITTED ME IN WITHIN THE WEEK HE IS VERY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL.HE QUOTED ME DIFFERENT PRICES FOR DIFFERENT THINGS BUT IT ADDED UP TO THIS PRICE SINCE THERE WERE SEVERAL THINGS ON MY LIST.AND THIS PRICE IS ALSO THAT WE HAD TO BUY ALL MATERIALS THIS WAS HIS LABOR.WE SPENT ABOUT 6500.00 FOR MATERIALS SO OVERALL IT WAS $15000.PRETTY GOOD FOR ALL WE HAD DONE I HAD FIRST ASKED HIM TO PUT CIELING FAN IN DAUGHTERS ROOM HE CHARGED ME $65.00 ON THIS.IT WAS A GREAT DEAL CONSIDERING ALL THE OTHER PEOPLE I HAD CALLED.THEN WE NOTICED A LEAK IN UPSTAIRS BATHROOM AND KITCHEN SAME TIME HOW IRONIC,BUT IT WAS TIME TO SPRUCE UP THIS OLD HOUSE SO I CALLED HIM AGAIN CARL FIXED THE LEAKS FOR US AND HIM AND HIS EMPLOYEE FIXED THE BATHROOM QUICK WITHIN 2 DAYS IT WAS FINISHED TILE PAINT AND ALL.THEN HE WENT STRAIGHT TO WORK ON KITCHEN AND WE RAN INTO A PROBLEM CAUSE I HAD CUSTOM MADE CABINETS I HAD TO WAIT 3 WEEKS FOR THEM,SO AS WE WERE WAITING ON CABINETS CARL AND HIS WORKER FINISHED THE DRYWALL IN BATHROOM DOWNSTAIRS,PAINTING.AND REPLACED CARPET CEILING TILES AND PANELING AND PAINTED IN OUR WALK IN CLOSET DOWNSTAIRS.AND WHEN THE CABINETS CAME IN THEY WERE VERY QUICK TO GETTING MY KICHEN ALL BACK TOGETHER.CARL AND HIS EMPLOYEE ARE VERY POLITE AND PROFFESIONAL AND THEY CLEAN UP AFTER ALL WORK WHICH IS A PLUS,I THINK THEY LEFT IT BETTER THAN I HAD IT A FEW TIMES.WELL CALL CARL IF U WANT A GREAT JOB DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME AND AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE,HES ACTUALLY COMING BACK TO PUT A DECK ON IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE IN A COUPLE OF MONTHS.
