6th Man Movers

It was perfect. Justin the crew leader and his associates where awesome. Everything was packed, delivered and unpacked...nothing was missing or broken. I was extremely happy with the service and will use them again next time I move. FYI... they came in under the quote... when does that ever happen with movers????

They arrived right on time and picked up all the large furniture items from our condo and moved them to our new home. The two men who did the lifting and moving were careful with everything. When they arrived at the new home, they were greeted by our lawn service, which showed up unexpectedly and blocked the driveway. The movers parked on the street and carried everything safely into the house, placing all where it was supposed to go. They were super and we'd gladly call on them again and would recommend them to friends.

They were great. They were quick. It didn't even take them the full two hours, which was good. They were clean. Their truck was clean. I've had some movers where the truck was like they needed to go home and wash it out. It was a good experience. I would recommend them to somebody else. The pricing was good for two hours. I didn't need them for all two hours, but that was nice. It really was a good price.

Move went smoothly. 2 speaker cones were damaged, but that was it.

They did a good job. Very professional. It was an all-day job (9 am to 6:30 pm). I will use them again.

These guys are awesome!! First off WE were 45mn late to meet them at our old house and they didn't even charge us! Most companies would've charged. The two guys who moved us were super nice, professional, treated out home with respect and worked quickly to cut time and costs down. A smooth, stress free move. Love them!

Two guys were amazing in moving our furniture and items into our home. Cold cold day. Even did some extra things for us. No problems at all, Lots of steps and long walkway. Thank God for strong young men.. Will hire them next time too.

The two hours went fast due to constant work by theses fellows.

The service was good. They helped us move into a home. There was some extra things that we kept in a storage space and they moved it to our home. They were courteous and were straightforward with everything.

Couldn't have been more pleasant and more smooth. Justin, Ray and Thomas were top notch, careful, considerate and worked in freezing cold temps without complaint! An all day move made palatable by a responsible crew! ,

The move went well. The most difficult part of the move was stairway. The movers didn't scratch or damage stair rails or walls. They arrived on time, completed the work within 90 minutes.

Basically, they picked up a king sized mattress, box spring and a few small miscellaneous items from Smyrna and moved them to Franklin. In Franklin, they also moved a heavy queen sized bed upstairs to make room for the king sized in a downstairs bedroom. All of this was completed by the 2 friendly and relatively careful movers who took care of my things. They were running late and called me approximately 45 minutes before their scheduled start time to tell me of the 30-45 minute delay. It was only a 30 minute wait and I was fine with that. After the jobs that I described in my work request that was taken over the phone, I had time remaining on my 2 hours. I asked them to move a bed frame from upstairs to the garage. The thing was a beast and much more complicated that I anticipated, but they completed the task and still managed to be friendly :-)! A complaint: While I paid $99 for the voucher, when I called to book my move, I was told there is also a $49 service fee. I states in the fine print that "additional fees MAY apply". When I argued that the $49 charge should be disclosed because it DOES apply no matter what, I was brushed off and told that the issue is with Living Social because they write the text of the deal. Perhaps adding it into the price, so that there is no confusion would better serve 6th Man's customers.

The two movers arrived promptly and were polite. They easily handled the two pieces of furniture for pickup. They delivered the two sofas with no problem. They moved a couple of small pieces of furniture to the upstairs and took several items to the local Goodwill drop-off site. They were prompt, pleasant, competent. No problems regarding the actual move whatsoever. The only issue that I noted is that the "deal" buyer has to understand that the wording that reads "travel charges may be incurred" really means "travel charges will be incurred" ; hence, the $99 deal became $149 or $75/hour for two men/truck. It is still a good deal because of the competence of the men. The extra $50 is charged when you make the arrangements for the actual move after buying the deal package of $99 (two men/one truck/two hours).

The scheduling was a breeze; they were very responsive and able to accommodate some last minute changes when our new house was not ready on time. The crew arrived on time, was very courteous, professional, and careful with our belongings. They rolled out the red carpet, hustled to get the job done, allowed me to help carry items to the truck, and took care to pad and protect our furnishings. I wouldn't hesitate to use them if I ever move again.

They arrived on time and there were no problems at all. There were no additional costs beyond the deal and it was a good price. They did a good job and everything worked out fine.

I called Sixth man movers on a Tuesday, in a pinch, and they fit me in on Wednesday. We didn't get everything done the first time because it got dark and cold...so I called the next week and they came back and moved some boxes from my basement upstairs, moved my furniture and some exorsize equipment. Both times, the movers were curteous and professional. I would use them again, and will definitely recommend them!

The entire experience was superb. The folks at Sixth Man Movers were punctual in coming by to give an estimate, arrived promptly on time to conduct both moves, moved all of our belongings with no damage , and honored their not-to-exceed price quotes.
