Services we don't offer
We can not move items weighing more than 750 lbs. We also can not move items that are full of gas or propane. If you have fueled equipment that needs to be transported, please make sure it is drained and empty. If you have a propane grill, please place the propane tank in your vehicle and we can move the grill for you.

Great experience all around. The 6th Man team was professional, timely, and communicated a lot with me. They wrapped all of our nice furniture and were very cautious with our furniture, walls, and floors. They saved us a few bucks by using our tape and our plastic wrap when needed. Though not a huge expense, it's nice to know they didn't try to take advantage and make us buy supplies we didn't need. Sam, Kareem, and Charles were our movers and they were just great!

I couldn't be more pleased. The men were polite, personable, respectful, and knew exactly what they were doing. I am a single woman who lives alone, and I'm not exactly handy. The guys took apart the furniture as needed, and were very careful with all of my belongings (and I have a LOT of glass- desk, coffee table, TV console, and 7 foot leaning mirror). All pieces of glass were wrapped in blankets individually- I was very happy about that. They unhooked my washer and dryer at the condo, then set everything back up at the new place. That was a big help.
I would not hesitate to use them again, and will be recommending to a girlfriend who is planning on moving in the next year.

They were awesome. Very professional company. Easy to schedule the estimate and then schedule the move. The pre-packing was a big help. Our crew the day of the move was awesome. I couldn't believe how efficiently they got everything moved including some tough stuff (2 guys lifting a piano sideways off front steps using straps!). Everything was moved quickly without any damage to our stuff or the houses. Will definitely call them in the future!

Excellent company, very responsive to calls and emails. They sent an estimator to the home when I couldn't get the online estimate right and he made a very accurate recommendation for how I should schedule the move. 6th Man send 5 people and two trucks to the house just after 8:30 in the morning and they worked non-stop until late in the afternoon, barely taking a break to eat pizza. They took very good care of our furniture and antiques, and there were only a few minor scratches on the walls, which was amazing, considering the bulky pieces they had to maneuver through tight doorways. Despite large fragile items, narrow entryways, and lots and lots of stairs, they managed to move almost everything that I had planned for the two day move on the first day. As a result, I was able to use 6th Man to move all the smaller items on the second day that I had anticipated I would have to move myself. This saved me 4 of 5 days of work. All this and the total cost with Angie's list coupon was just over $2500. I will definitely hire 6th man again when we move to Bowling Green.

Kyle and Chris arrived at the appointed time and we showed them the house and places where items would be placed. We asked if Kyle would position the truck in the driveway, which is steep and difficult to maneuver on. He did that expertly and they started to unload the contents of the truck. They worked over two hours in steady rain, maintaining a positive attitude and displaying plenty of energy and enthusiasm for the job. The last item in the truck was a very heavy sofa-bed which we hoped to have placed in a room upstairs. To get it into the room, Kyle and Chris had to negotiate a narrow staircase with sharp angles and a small entrance. They moved the couch (which had caused movers on previous occasions a lot of trouble) smoothly, efficiently and expertly, getting it into the room and positioning it where we wanted it.
We moved a number of times in 22 years of military service and a few times since that service ended. We've used 6th Man Movers on three occasions and have been very pleased every time. I wish we'd had these folks (and Mustard Seed Movers in San Antonio, TX) on every move. These guys are great!

Movers often make people uncomfortable. Over the years and many moves, movers and their companies always seem vaguely larcenous even when they have not done anything to give you that impression. So I wasn't thrilled when I had to do a whole house furniture move from one suburb of Nashville to another.
When I found 6th Man Movers, I just said, what the heck I will give them a try -- her is what I found.
This is turned out to be the first mover I have worked with where I was sure of a few very important things:
1. I would get a call back, even I just wanted to ask the time and temperature...
2.Things would happen when they say they will, and if they don't I will get a call from them...
3. They would treat my every possession as if it was considerably more valuable than even I thought it was.
This is the most professional and totally customer oriented moving company that I have ever worked with. Pricing was delivered with planned manifests so we could make sure everything was accounted for. Scheduling was easy and done at our convenience. Communication in this part of the process was constant as our needs shifted -- they stayed right with us and the price was always right.
The move itself went off without a hitch and the crew was the most professional moving crew I have ever worked with. They were speedy, careful and made me feel comfortable through and through as they handled stuff that had been in our family for 150 years.
I avoid mentioning names because every person involved in my move gave me superlative service but to highlight their class, each member of the crew introduced themselves to us before they started working. More of that personal touch that is a simple but priceless way they inspire confidence in their work.
Cable Company, Telephone Company, Internet Service Provider, Car dealership -- you all need to line up and talk to these young men, they now how to treat their customers with respect and thoughtfulness and whats's more - they actually do what they say! If I have to have so little as a chair and a table moved I would want the folks at 6th man to handle it.
I don't want to gush so much that people will think I own stock in their company but I couldn't recommend a single mover who every moved anything for me until I met these guys. Use them, I assure you that you won't be sorry. We need more companies in the world like theirs!
