I ended up going with another contractor, simply because they could complete the plumbing, electrical, and the actual building without me having to do the subcontracting myself. The man that came to the house was on time and very professional. Terry, in the office, kept in touch with me to let me know that they were working on my quote, and apologized for it taking longer than usual. I will contact them again if I need other plumbing work.

My tenants called me about a commode leaking around the floor. The call was later in the day so I did not expect same day service. The office asked if there was another commode that could be used and since there was, they scheduled the work for the first thing the next morning. Tony called me about the problem and the fix, which was a repair flange. He explained that the screws all torqued down tightly, which indicated no water damage to the subfloor. The tenants told him the second commode was loose, so he also tightened the bolts on that one while he was there. Since this was a rental house, and I was not there...I felt that Tony gave me a thorough explanation of the situation.

The plumber arrived on time, calling ahead about 40 minutes to let me know he was on the way. After removing the toilet from the floor, he discovered that the phlange was broken because it appeared someone had tighten the bolt too much and cracked it. Since we are on a concrete slab and the PVC phlange was glued to the floor, he thought he might have to bust the concrete to remove it. If so, he was going to need to return the following week and remove it and then pour concrete, quickcrete I presume, to repair the slab. I just cringed and begged him to be careful. Thankfully he did not have to damage the concrete and easily removed this part and replaced and resealed the toilet. He was here about 30 or 40 minutes and he did a neat job. I was very releived.

We have used this company several times. We just purchase our home, so we knew of a few issues when we moved in. They have been punctual every time and always call to say they are on their way and how long it will be before they arrive. They were even nice enough to remove their shoes before entering our home. We have had several issues fixed and everything has turned out perfectly. The men that have come out have been very knowledgeable and have shown me what they are doing and explained why they are doing it. I find that to be very helpful. I will have to say that they might be a bit expensive per hour, but you get what you pay for in this case. We will be using their services in the future.

I gave the job to the competitor.

I had a slow drain in a tub. They came out, inspected it, fixed it and cleaned up within 40 minutes. Great experience. Will use again!

We got a bid from the company we had always used in the past. They were higher and they were going to use all flex pipe for the ducts. Once we talked to RB there was no question who to go with. Their bid was lower, they used quality ducts, plus they came highly recommended from Angies List . They came out bright and early one morning, worked pretty much non-stop and were done by early afternoon. They did an amazing job cleaning up and the workers were very courteous. Once the unit was in place and they were gone, we noticed it wasn't cooling. We called them and they came out within a few hours to check it out. Once they assessed the problem and found a short, they replaced the part at no charge to us. This was a pleasant and unexpected surprise.

The pilot light in my upstairs furnace wouldn't stay on so I called up Rosco Brown to come out and give me a quote to fix it. They were at my house within the hour and went right to work. He assumed it was the thermocouple and attempted to get it working again but had no luck with that. He luckily did have one in his van and promptly replaced the failed part and got me back up and going.

Everything was fine and they were timely. I will continue to use them in the future.

I hired them based on the reports here, but my experience wasn't great. Keith came out and assessed the situation w/the broken furnace and was very helpful but once I hired them to install one of the recommended furnaces, things fell apart. The men who came to install spent an entire friday (it was supposed to take 1/2 day) and left knowing that the furnace didn't work. They called the company and told them it wasn't working and they didn't know why. Naturally, I expected to hear from RB about next steps. I heard nothing until I contacted them weeks later. A repair person came out and was apologized for the lack of follow up but managed to break the AC (which worked through out this process) in the course of fixing the newly installed furnace. They sent out another repair guy to fix the AC. Meanwhile, I had notes left on my door by Metro codes saying they needed to do an inspection. Nobody told me that I needed an inspection so I assumed it was a case of mistaken identity. A few weeks later, I got a letter from RB saying I needed to schedule an inspection with Metro. I had told both repair guys that nobody had billed me for the furnace. They shrugged their shoulders and left. Come July, I get a bill from them asking if I "forgot" to pay them. It was the first bill I had received from them. Not exactly a well oiled machine.

It went very well. We called to see if it would be possible to run the gas line to the kitchen. They came out and gave us a couple of options and when we purchased the range, they came out and did the work.

The crew at Roscoe Brown was very professional and always on time. We could not have been more pleased. The day of the install the crew arrived on time and even worked through the rain to complete the installation.

Their pricing was competitive.

I called them a few months ago because I needed one of my water heaters replaced. They came by and gave me an estimate for the job. I paid them for the visit with my credit card which they never ran through and so I was never charged for that visit. (When I called them about it I was told they didn't feel right about charging me for that visit.) I purchased a water heater from a different source and had it delivered...the guys at Bradley Plumbing told me to call them the night before the water heater was to be delivered and they scheduled their visit to install it right after the water heater was delivered. The installation went smoothly and professionally and I've had no problems with it since. Using Bradley Plumbing here in Murfreesboro is like doing business back in the Good Old Days, that time when you could count on the integrity and honesty of the people with whom you were dealing. You can't go wrong calling Bradley's when you have need of a plumber. I know this sounds like a paid commercial but trust me on this one, it isn't. Call Bradley Plumbing when you need of services in that area and see for yourself. I wish I could find a car mechanic or automobile service and repair establishment in Murfreesboro with the kind of integrity I found at Bradley Plumbing!

Very good! Very fast response time, very friendly plumber, reasonable price. We called another plumber that said that they would call us back in the afternoon. That was unacceptable to me, so we checked Angie's List and called Bradley's. They were able to send someone out within the hour and it was fixed faster than that. The plumber was VERY chatty, and as a talker myself, I appreciate that. It was almost too much, though, as I was ready to get my chores done. I would use them again, though, in a heartbeat.

We have had this unit for 9 years now and it?s been great! They are very customer oriented. Roscoe Brown started the business and he was always very good at what he did. His son has been in charge since he passed away and the workers carry that on.

Plumber arrived a bit late, but was told to, so that's just a communication snafu. With the snow and ice recently, and the telephone tag I played earlier in the week, that's understandable. Once here, he was professional, quick, and got right to task. He took his shoes off, asked for a towel to take care of some leaks, and worked efficiently. Very nice attitude, his socks were cleaner than our carpeting, that's for sure. I'd definitely use Bradley Plumbing again.

The quotation I got from Roscoe Brown was really good, the only reason I didn't go with them was that a friend of mine at church owns an HVAC company and he gave me what amounted to a materials only deal. The service man from RB was very professional and worked with my schedule, including making a second visit a month later and after normal working hours to boot! If I ever have any further need of HVAC repair work, I'll definitely give Roscoe Brown a call to get a quote.

We have had many plumbers to our house over the last 9 years because our home was built before the codes were in place. This new problem brought a shiver up my spine because I thought it would be a huge expense and my confidence level in plumbers has been shakey. We needed to replace all of our grey poly water lines as we were afraid that they might break one of these days as our house is about 18 yrs old. I looked around and found Bradley plumbing on angieslist. We liked the good reviews about them and decided to call them for an estimate. Brad came over one day and after inspecting the house gave us an estimate of what would it take to replace the existing water lines with PEX lines ($2100) and said that they can complete it in one day. Plus he said that we should get some one to cut the sheet rock. When I asked for a recommendation he suggested Farrer construction and their guy Percy gave us a quote for just cutting the sheet rock and putting them back in place (we didn't want them to finish the sheet rock as my wife knew how to do that). Their quote was reasonable also (~$600). They came a day before the pipes replacement and cut the sheet rock where needed. One of Bradley's plumbers stopped by to make sure the sheet rocks were cut at places where they actually need to be cut. On Sept 16th, four plumbers of Bradley plumbing came at 7am(the time they said they would come) and completed the job at 10:30am!!! Tony, Carl, Tracy and Shane that worked on redoing the pipes were very friendly and courteous and they got the job done. However, that evening when my wife came from work she found two issues. The faucet in our bath tub was not mounted flush and there was a leak in the external faucet on the side of the house outside. It was 6pm and i called Bradley plumbing and left a message to send someone to help fix the issues. Their manager, Terry called back and said Shane would come over shortly to take care of things. Within an hour, Shane came over and fixed the external faucet leak (crimping issue) and pulled back the faucet tighter towards the wall. Overall, we are very happy with Bradley plumbing and will definitely recommend them. They were very professional and did their work in very timely manner. Terry, the manager, was good in co-ordinating things and very helpful in the entire process. I have already recommended them to one of my buddies that is looking for someone to work on his house. Farrer construction folks came yesterday and closed the openings they made. Angieslist helped us find these guys and we wanted to share our experience with the rest of the consumers.

The technician was on time, courteous, and professional. There were no sales pitches or unexpected add-ons. Overall, a positive experience for a company in business since 1940. A good service at a fair price. What more could a homeowner want?

The drain going into the slab was broken. We'd had another plumber out to give us an estimate. He said the tub would have to be pulled out in order to fix the drain. That meant getting a tile man and a drywall man to take wall and tiles out so the plumber could pull the tub out and , of course, having them back in to redo the bathroom around the tub. The estimate for all that without the cost of new tile was going to be around $3000.00. I decided to check Angieslist.com. I didn't realize it was a site with a fee and I almost didn't do it. I have to say that $45.00 spent on Angieslist.com saved me thousands.

Very prompt with initial estimate. Scheduled work fairly quickly since my job was not an emergency they could work it into the schedule. Quality of work was excellent and very close to estimate. Overall very good experience and I would highly reccomend this company. The only area they could improve would be clean up and disposing of some boxes etc..
