Description of Work: Installed a chain- link fence in my back yard for my dogs, with a single gate & a double gate. My yard is on a grade so they made some adjustments in the installation to solve that issue. Contractor on site both days supervising. I expressed the importance of the fence being tight & close to the ground so my dogs wouldn't get out. The installation salesman from Lowes made some suggestions on quality of materials to insure my satisfaction. The installation contractor said it made the fence easier to work with. I've had people stop by to admire the quality workmanship.

It was fine. It was quick. They were friendly. There was nothing really negative to say about them. I would go back to Lowe's.

On the first day of our install the installer caused a water leak on the back of the house with the outside water fault. Things like this do happen. We told Lowe's to make sure that a License Plumber comes out and works on our Plumbing. We did not expect that this would be a big problem but it has turned into one. The first attempt did not work so Lowe's sent out another person to work on our Plumbing and this person used a hammer on our plumbing for over 30 minutes trying to fix it. We were just told by Lowe's that these people that worked on our Plumbing were not Licensed Plumbers and that they did not know that we had a water leak. I spent many hours on the phone with the install team from the Lowe's store talking to them about our water leak and other issues regarding the installation of our Vinyl Siding. I asked Lowe's if someone was writing my complaints down and I was told yes. The Install team manager and her boss came out to look at the work on 9/10/11 and that is when I was told that the people that worked on our plumbing were not License plumbers and that they did not know about the water leak. The boss did seem concerned about the water leak and asked me if it is still leaking. It does not look like we have a water leak anymore from the outside. But, I am not a License Plumber nor do I know about plumbing. I can tell you that our water usage has gone up. The Lowe's install team would call me almost daily at work and ask me the same question every time. How is the installing going? I did not look forward to talking to Lowe's each day at work or at home because they did not seam to understand no matter how many times I told them we needed help. I would say the same thing every time. Not Good. And then I would tell them about all the problems we were having and if someone was going to come out to see what was going on here at our house. They would always say the same thing. I will get with the installers. We never knew what that meant. I do think that a License Plumber still needs to come out and look at what was done to make sure it was done correctly and to see if any other damages was done. We understand that this will mean that part of the Siding would have to come down in order for the License Plumber to look at what was done to our plumbing and that is ok with us. Lowe's has now offered to have their plumber to come out and look at the plumbing. I plan to hire a License Plumber to look at what was done to our plumbing. It still needs to be worked on. You can not even hook up a water hose to it. This is a Siding project but now it is a roofing and Bath remodel job also. While the siding was being installed they took off part of our roof and told us that it was bad and needed to be replaced anyway. We had just had our insurance adjuster here just before the siding work began and it was ok then. We were told that we would have to take care of the roof issue ourself by Lowe's . Another Big issue is when the person that we thought was a License Plumber was beating on the plumbing they caused our tiles to come down around the plumbing to our bath / shower because the outside fault and bathroom plumbing are connected . That same person told my wife and I that he was very sorry about messing up our bathroom shower tiles. He told us that he knew how to fix tiles and that he could fix it for us. He did attempted to fix the tiles that came down but he did not do a very good job. He also bump the soap dish and caused more damage and more tiles to come down. He did attempt to put those tiles back on but now we have another problem. He broke one of the tiles and tried to cover it up by sticking it back on the shower wall. I guess he thought we would not notice. When the Lowe's Managers came to our house to see this damage they are saying it looks like we had problems with your shower to start with. What they saw was the work that this person that worked for Lowe's did. The last word we got from Lowe's is that they will review the pictures but it looks like we had problems before. We used the shower until the the Vinyl Siding job started. Lowe's finally stopped calling me at work because I got their e-mail addresses and told them in writing that I could not accept personal phone calls at work and that I had told them over and over to stop calling me at work. Lowe's is trying to place the blame for the bad siding job, our plumbing problems, our tiles problems and our missing roof on us and it is true they do have the power to fix what they messed up or let us be stuck with the problems they created. The Siding job is still not completed and there are many problems with the siding. Siding that is not even connected to the house, siding that was not installed correctly, Nails that were not nailed down first before the siding was attached. Trim that was not installed correctly and or damaged. We have an outside electric outlet that is not even connected to a stud wall. It was just installed using caulking. It will not pass a code inspection and it will come out if you pull too hard. Lowe's said that they can not do anything about this problem and there are other problems with the siding and damage to window trim. Our Siding job was started on 7/30/11 and by 9/10/12 we needed a break from dealing with our siding job from Lowe's . Lowe's says tthey do not want to prolong our Siding project. I asked them every time I talked to them from 7/30/11 - 9/10/11 Is someone come out here to fix the problems. We were told that our Siding project would not take more than a week to do. We will meet to go over all the problems with the siding in October and maybe the siding project will be finished after that. We told Lowe's that we did not want the Subcontractor to come back to our house because the way they treated us and our property. Lowe's is now saying we have to let them come back. Why would Lowe's send back a subcontactor that treats their customer very bad and is only interested in doing very low quality work? Does this make Lowe's look good or bad? But for all the problems that we now have with our roof, plumbing and bathroom shower. It sounds like Lowe's will not stand behind their saying and quot; When you want it done rightand quot;.

My drive way had given way and cracked. So I had to get it concretized. These guys used good quality concrete to cement the driveway and also waterproofed it. They did a little work in the basement as a precautionary and preventive measure too.
Description of Work: They did concrete work on the drive way.

They have people who knew what they were doing. They got the job done in a timely manner. They showed up at the right time, and they had all of the tools needed for the job. They worked really hard, and they picked up all of the extras and didn't leave anything lying around.
Description of Work: They laid approximately 700 square foot of carpet in three bedrooms.
