Mr. West provided excellent service on the cleanup of the yard, was prompt and responded well to a misunderstanding about the work involved and what we had asked to be completed. Consequently, we asked him to mow (which is part of what his crew does) the property. The mowing was done weekly and met our requirements. This year, we expected him to continue and emailed him to let us know when to send payment which was what my husband always did the previous summer. We assumed that he would continue the mowing service and was not aware that he was not mowing the yard until a neighbor near the property called to alert us that the grass was knee deep! We felt that we should have been notified by Mr. West that he no longer would be mowing so as to allow us to contract with another service. My husband had sent numerous emails and tried contacting him with no response. That is the reason for the and quot;Fand quot;. Very disappointed in his reliability because of that!

West Lawn and Landscaping does an excellent job for me. I use them all the time. They set down trees in the winter for me. They mow in the summer for me. I talked to them about a week ago. They are dependable. They have the job done without me having to go back. I would be at my work and they do it just like I want it. I would rate them an 'A' across the board. They have been great.

I cannot say enough about the work ethic that Mr. West and his crew possess. They arrived promptly on time the morning of the job and worked non-stop until lunch. They took a short lunch break and began again after lunch to finish the project.On the morning of the job, I learned that my understanding of the work to be performed and Mr. West's interpretation of the proposed project turned out to be at odds. I was expecting the under brush to be removed roots and all and his understanding was that the underbrush was only to be cut back to the ground and then routinely mowed to stop further growth. My husband was the one who was available on the day of the job and when he explained to Mr. West what my understanding was, Mr. West, without hesitation replied that indeed, then, that is the way the job will be completed....to my expectations and without any change in our cost. Mr. West was thorough, courteous, easy to deal with and at all times a complete professional in regard to all questions and any concerns my husband expressed. He was available at all times and his crew maintained the same attitude as Mr. West. My husband was ecstatic with Mr. West's work. Now, we will be able to follow up in the spring with new landscaping and plants since the abundant overgrowth posing as a shrub bed in the front and the unsightly underbrush in the back are gone! The house went from landscaping nightmare, to grand result in just one day!
According to my husband, Mr. West should receive an A+, as he was pleased beyond all expectations. We really can't recommend him highly enough and in fact, he will be taking the mowing over from our regular lawn maintenance crew! So, we would definitely use him again!

He does a great job. I don't have to go check his work. I can trust that he is doing good work.
