Steven Hertz and this company should be the ideal model for all repair/handyman services! I have never been so highly pleased with any company as I am with them. From the personal service to the exceptional craftmanship, the owner and work crew are absolutely unbeatable.

Steve the contractor/owner went out of his way on another unrelated project. He got that ball rolling and fixed. He is easy to work with, no-nonsense, and provides excellent customer service and communication (which is a rarity down here). His prices are fair. I am using his company again for additional work.

HLC was great with communication at each step, and very prompt in coming out for the estimate and completing the work. Steve was very nice and I especially appreciated the time he took to chat with my dad (and pet his cat).

Steven the owner was in constant communication with me and he informed us about everything that was going on throughout the process. He has a couple of people working for him but he made it a priority to meet me being the first time customer.

Sent unqualified workers to the job site. Misrepresented the time required to finish the job. Their pricing was vague and kept changing. They were unwilling to resolve disagreements without resorting to an attorney. There were multiple careless errors, and way over priced for the work done.

Workers were great, and showed up on time. Both guys were knowledgeable and friendly.

Paid to fix flashing on front side of the chimney, put some new plywood up and to clean gutters. The job got rushed and not doubled checked. My gutters are stopped up mid way. I also have a little rain coming in on the inside of my chimney now. Something didn't get sealed right or leveled. I paid a thousand dollars, $200 for a temp fix one day and then another $800 for the "real fix". Feels like I got ripped off. Just an FYI

My experience was excellent! Steven and his crew were always professional and on time, also cleaned up when they were done! I had new soffit and gutters put in, the workmanship was great! I also hired them to trim my trees and shrubs, removal of my flowerbeds. They did a fantastic job! I recommend this company to everyone! Anything you need done, they can do it!!!

Professional and reliable service. they kept all of their appointments, did a fantastic job on the yard and cleaned up when they were done. Definitely worth every dollar spent. Turned a useless sloping yard into a nice usable space. Also installed a wireless dog fence and electric service to my shed.
