Very disappointed in the price charged. Every worker is worthy to get paid a fair price. Gabe's Electronics replaced a $30 water supply valve in my Whirlpool refrigerator. Technician was training a new employee. New employee forgot to bring the part. He had to return to the store to get the part while the technician sat in the truck waiting. They were at the job for about less than 45 minutes (including the wait for the forgotten part). They charged $120 labor plus $44 dollar trip fee. Looking up the distance, it costs $1 in gas from their store to my house. I understand a reasonable up-charge, but these fees are absurd. When contacting the owner, he described how they don't charge by the hour, they charge by the job and didn't charge for the training of the new employee. Really? My bill was $214 to install a $30 valve. That is not reasonable!!!!!! Not recommended!

I had a problem with a Samsung tv that was two months out of warranty. I called Samsung and after speaking with them they agreed to recover the repair under an extended warranty. We contacted Gabe's Electric and after discussing the issue they informed me they would order some parts and use whatever they needed to in order to repair the issue. I called on Thursday and all of the parts came in besides one that I was informed would be there the next day. The tech came out and he was on time and knowledgeable. He came out and tested and did everything properly and five minutes after him leaving the tv went out again. He came back out right away and he retested everything and replaced another component and that resolved the issue. We put everything back together and it was functioning properly. He did an excellent job and I cant recommend him highly enough. He stuck with the issue until it was resolved, the service was great, and he went the extra mile for me.

Looked on Angie' List for a high rated repair facility for my older Samsung LCD TV. Although a little out of my way, I found the shop and dropped the TV off. I was not terribly impressed by the facility but as long as they repaired the thing I would be satisfied. The problem was found and repaired quickly, turned around when they said it would be and cost about what they estimated.I was made to wait for a while upon my return trip to pick the repaired TV up. Several people looked at me scurried away into the back. Only when a manager appeared in front was my need properly understood (with apologies) and I was attended to. I will indeed consider using this facility again for similar repair work.

Refrigerator was purchased from Best Buy. I called them. They opened a warranty ticket and sent it to Gabe's. Best Buy said I would be contacted within two days by Gabes. I wasn't contacted, so I called Gabes myself. After that initial contact, all was smooth. Gabes has a certified Samsung tech who ordered the part, arrived at my house, replaced the part, now the ice maker is working like new. No issues.

We had a 4 year old 50" Zenith plasma TV simply blow out while watching it. We did not purchase this TV, but rather included it in the offer we made on our townhouse. I would have never purchased a TV this large, so when it crapped out I had no idea what to do. Gabe's staff offered some ideas and after I talked to several other repair professionals I decided to take the behemoth into their store. For $50 (at least 10% less than the next least expensive quote) they checked it out for us and then shared which parts had gone bad. I did not ask them to fix the TV because it would have cost $1100 to get it back and new models are less than that now. Instead, after they explained what needed to be fixed I contacted my fix-it-whiz of a father-in-law to see if any of his contacts could get the parts for less money. I suspect we will simply buy a new TV. That is the American way, right?!? Oh, and of course, we will have to get another big one ;-) I definitely recommend Gabe's if you need TV service and also will consider buying our new one from them. Their prices seem competitive and I am just not a fan of the big chain electronics stores.

Gabe's Electronics finished the job they were hired to do, which is always a good thing. They definitely knew what they were doing. The only thing I didn't like was that the workers' appearance was not very professional.

Gabes workers are very polite in doing their job. They are a little slow in their work, however, they do a good job at a fair price in repairing my electronics. I will continue using them as needed.
