They discovered building damage and corrected it with as little problems as possible. Very considerate about the cost. Cleaned up daily. Wonderful company.

This time, things did not go well. After weeks of delays and little communication, we finally had the gas stove and faucet installed. Around 5:00 of the day they did they work, a runner came by to deliver the invoice and pick up the money. (The contract we signed did say that money was due upon completion.) The invoice showed the total due and did not list the specific work done; the runner knew nothing about the invoice and was no help. The owner's wife/bookkeeper did not offer to provide me with a revised invoice showing the specific work done but was impatient and frustrated with me for asking. Since the estimate had more items on it, I was unable to match the estimate with the invoice and asked for an extension until the next morning when I would deliver the payment. I delivered the payment of $1600 the next morning as promised. In mid April we contacted Slansky Builders again (since we had not heard from them about completing the work we had agreed on) and received an email that said 'we will not be available to install the door for you in May or anytime in the future." We can only assume that Slansky Builders was offended by our request for a revised invoice and a 1/2 day delay in paying. The owner, Rich Slansky, did not contract us after the work was completed to see if we were satisfied so it appears that money is more important to them than satisfied customers.

All went well. Guys removed old door, checked for any water damage around the opening, and installed the new one with associated hardware. They did come back after about two weeks when the door was sticking to adjust it. Has worked smoothly since. I did not have them paint the door (it came primed). After spending most of a Saturday painting, I wished I had them do that chore!

Great. We've used Slansky Builders on several occasions throughout the last 4 years and have been nothing but 100% happy with the work and crew.

They installed granite counter tops, new sink and faucet, and additional cupboards. They were extremely professional and very efficient. There was a slight water leak which they came out and fixed at 10.00 pm. I was very impressed. I suspect they are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

They were very professional. They communicated with detail what and how they planned to do the work, They took precautions to prevent damage and soiling our house. They would answer any questions that I had in a manner that I understood. The work is exceptional. I highly recommend their services.

It went as we expected, they made certain the existing deck could hold the additional weight, reinforced it where necessary and the build the enclosure including a new ceiling fan. project came in on the estimate provided.

They arrived on time and from then on everything went as scheduled. The remodeling went better than I expected and the results were fantastic.

Slanski Builders did an estimate on a bathroom remodeling. It was a reasonable price for what they were going to do. We just could not afford it. He was prompt. His work would have been good. He was not willing to not do somethings.

It took them over two weeks to enclose a garage frame it out and install sheetrock. The quality of the work was good, but the price was not. In the framing out of both the window and door, they had to do it twice, once because they set it too far out and on the door because they didn't measure it before they started and it was a non-standard size. I believe that they charged for these mistakes. I was not actually paying for the service, my mother-in-law was and she did not insist on detailed billing. Do not get an estimate from these people, insist on a bid with written notice of any changes to the pricing. The day after I submitted this review, one of the Slansky's called me. He was belligerent and confrontational. He defended all of his actions and offered no apology all the while saying that he had apologized and fixed other people's problems in the past. It seemed he wanted an apology from me. After talking again to my Mother-in-law, I changed the punctuality from c to d since the workers did not show up till 10am or later on most days.

Showed up for estimate as promised; showed up for work materials in hand, as promised on time. Completed on time. Scope changed slightly, took it in stride. Very professional job.
