I called Benjamin Franklin based on Angie's list reviews. While they were very prompt and professional, I was disappointed by their pricing scheme. They rate each job as a certain category of job and then just charge a flat fee per task. I had several items, mostly minor, but the minimum charge for each was at least $100, so I wound up paying around $800 for a handful of minor repairs. I am sure the repairs were well done, but I am also pretty sure it didn't take very much in the way of parts or labor to do it. I just didn't feel that it was a good value. I will probably not be calling them back in the future.

I had to buy the product. I liked them; they were good. They were very professional, punctual, and explained everything. They did a great gob and I did like the toilet. I did not have any problems with their responsiveness. They were very nicely dressed and looked apart; some people do not.

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing returned to fix my toilet issues, plus instructions on how to fix other toilets in my house. Very impressive. I am very satisfied with the work done by Benjamin Franklin Plumbing.

They arrived on time and got right to work.

I called Benjamin Franklin and was amazed at the level of service from start to finish! The receptionist on the phone was kind and curtious. After making my appointment, I recieved an email to confirm, and the day of the appointment she called to let me know they were on their way. Eric the tehnician arrived on time, and was very professional dressed in a uniform with his name on it and informed me that he was training a new employee and introduced me to Ryan. They were both very respectful of my home and were quick and efficient. They told me what it would cost before they started working and charged me exactly what he quoted when he left. 5-star service all the way! Highly recommend them and would use them again in a heart beat!

They were great from the first phone call.

I called Benjamin Franklin to fix leaking faucets on the outside of my house, and to service our water heater. I was afraid the faucets would have to be replaced ($320 each!), but Gary was able to find parts in his truck that fixed the problem. Very impressed with their punctuality, expertise, and professionalism. Will definitely use them again.

They were prompt, courteous and had the job completed in record time. Also had a half-price coupon from Angie's List which was a huge bonus.

They're on time, and courteous. I forgot to ask him to check on something on my fridge, and he came back in a checked on it for no charge.

BIlly, the Benjamin Franklin tech, came out to inspect a leak at our water meter. Though it seemed clearly to be a leaking nut on the house side of the meter, he took a few minutes to diagnose the issue and discovered a small rust hole in the bottom of the water meter itself, 3-4 feet down at the bottom of the box where the meter lives. I happened to be on the phone with the city water dept. when he came up to the house to talk to me, so I passed the phone over to the expert. He and the Service Manager from the city knew each other, which was a bonus! Billy was able to explain the problem, establishing the issue was indeed a city issue, and they are on their way with a new meter (and a riser). One could chalk it up to serendipity, but I believe Billy and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing did me a great service today, one that couldn't have happened without their professionalism and earned respect of their peers.

They did a good job, and did what I asked them to do. They did well enough that I set up a service contract with them. I had to call them since then to help me with a leak that I had. They have given excellent service, and I would highly recommend them.

This is my first time using Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. I called them because the trip charge of $49 is waived for Angie's List customers and they had great reviews on Angies List. Janet, at the office, dispatched a plumber and Eric was here within 2 hours.We had three problems: water leak under kitchen sink, countertop was puckering due to moisture collection, and kitchen sprayer (on faucet) was not working. Eric re-installed our garbage disposal (which had been improperly installed by another contractor) and he also installed a new kitchen faucet. Eric was so straightforward, professional, and honest. It was so refreshing! Eric also took the time to answer all of my questions.

The work is really not finished yet. The cost probably is about $300. They went through and checked everything that I asked them to and they gave me excellent service. They were able to save me some money and also found something that I hadn’t seen. It would have cost me a lot of money but it would have cost me a lot more if they didn’t catch it. A leak that I had was kind of hidden and was hard to find. It had been going on for years. They found and we are getting it fixed. They gave me excellent advice. They have fixed a couple of small leaks that I had in different places in my house and they found one that was going on that ended up being a major leak that I didn’t see. They are very knowledgeable about what they do. It is obvious that they know what they are talking about. They are not paid on a commission, so I feel more comfortable with that. They are very professional and they are less expensive than some other folks I checked with. I trust them. I would use them again in the future.

The whole process went well overall and I am very happy with Benjamin Franklin.

They were very nice, prompt and fixed everything. We were satisfied completely and real happy. We would call them again if we have any more plumbing needs. We got Benjamin Franklin Plumbing off Angie’s List. My husband paid the bill but the price was worth it. In terms of quality of work, the guy was real friendly and took care of everything. In terms responsiveness, they were quick. In terms of punctuality, they were here when they said they would be. They were excellent in terms of professionalism. I would use their services again in the future.

He was pretty good but they were pretty expensive.

Do call Benjamin Franklin for plumbing work. They are reasonably price (not cheap, but reasonable) and have a vast knowledge of plumbing products. I would not allow them to replace a garbage disposal with their own brand though.

I was very pleased with them. The first time I had an Angie's List discount which helped. He gave me three options instead of saying that I needed to have something done; that really impressed me. He said one thing would fix it now and it was the cheapest. Another thing would fix it for the long term and it was the most expensive but it should last for so many years. He let me choose how much work I wanted done. He said that I could replace the whole toilet or fix certain parts. He gave me options and told me what they meant, which was good. Their price was a little bit higher, but the quality was excellent. I would definitely go with them again because I felt they were so honest with me. I trusted them.

The repairman from Benjamin Franklin didn't have the parts to fix it properly, so I requested that American Standard sent me parts. The repairman assured me he would come back to fix it, and he did so for free.

I paid $300 for the service. I thought they were good. The guy knew what he was talking about. He got my hot water heater working. So, it was good for me. I did not shop around for the price. So, I cannot comment on their price. I will use this company again in the future.

They got the job done and did well. I didn't have time to do it myself and they were rated well so I chose them. The service man was very helpful and answered all my questions. They do quality work and should not have to worry about the flush valve for a long time.

We had the house inspected, so we were surprised to run into a plumbing problem so soon after moving in. We called them on Tuesday afternoon, scheduled the appointment for 10-12 the next morning, and got an immediate email confirmation with the technicians name. He called ahead of time to confirm the appointment, arrived at the front end of the time window, wore booties to protect our flooring, promptly completed the job for which he was called, and offered to address any other plumbing issues we might have. He was very professional, personable, and friendly. We would definitely recommend him to others and use him again if we need plumbing help in the future.

They arrived as scheduled. They described work to be performed and gave estimate. Because we were having multiple repairs, they gave us a 15% discount. Once authorized, they performed work. They said the shower faucet repair was more work than anticipated but did not increase the price. No hassle, nice service.
