There was a previous issue with a male named "Henry." with the same company Please STAY AWAY FROM HENRY if you have a old house. My understanding is that he has more experience with newer houses. What you NEED to do, is ask for GARY! Seriously, if they are saying that Henry is coming, re-schedule it for another time with Gary. Gary came and listened to the issues we were having, and communicated with us what he thought the problem was. In this economy, money is an issue, and since we have an older home he said there were three options, we patch the issue, which would not be a long term solution, we could fix the problem, or we could fix the problem and do some extra work to be proactive with the work that may be needed in the future. He quoted us a range (between $3,800 -$4,00.00) to replace the kitchen drain and connect the line to the main drain (sorry about the lack of being more technical but I am an average person and not a plumber.) He calls and takes care of calling to get the gas company out to mark the yard, as well as the sewer lines. He arrives on the appointment day, on time, clean, professional, and takes the time to answer ALL and any questions that come up. (As a newer homeowner I have lots of questions about plumbing.) He does what he said he would, in under the time that was expected! They had to dig up my garden, but there was not ONE plant that was damaged in the process, and they put everything back where it was!! That really impressed me. If you want a plumber who will answer your questions, do the job - PROPERLY, within the budget given and within the time frame, then you HAVE to go with Gary! He treats you with respect, you are not just a job/number to him, and does what he is there to do with a smile on your face. If Gary comes to fix something, he will leave and everything will be fixed, and both of you will have a smile on your face. (He has a GREAT sense of humor!) Trust Benjamin Franklin Plumbers, they will get it done right... but do what's right and ask for GARY :)

The overall experience was great. The plumbers are passionate about what they do and are professional. I felt very comfortable with them and they communicated very well. The work was completed successfully. They did try to sell me on some of their other services such as water filtration, however they did not pressure me too much.

Exactly as described... He showed up on time... flushed the Water Heater, checked all the plumbing and made relevant suggestions that were not pushy or unnecessary. Will use again in the future. Steal for this cheap!!!

He called me to advise me of when he would arrive and arrived on time. He quickly evaluated the problem, explained it to me and fixed it. Since he discovered that both toilets had the same problem, he said he could charge me the same price to fix the second toilet.

Very knowledgable. Did a complete inspection and tried to sell additional services/replacements. Not necessary at this time. He did replace a water line in the tub facet making it easier to operate. Poor operation had been due to non-use and mineral buildup. Works like a charm now. Wanted to replace the other two tub lines in the house but not necessary. He was good and was very knowledgable on plumbing. Only irritant was the push to do additional services which weren't necessary though they may be energy efficient (in particular the water heater).

Serviceman went right to work. Very nice and knowledgeable. Loved the fact that he did not try to upsell anything. Fixed the general plumbing problems quickly and efficiently.

The serviceman was Henry and he was very pleasant and professional. The garbage disposal started working right away with minimal assistance so was not charged for this and was given tips to help if water backed up again in the future. The toilet was repaired in very timely fashion and couldn't have been more pleased with the service I received.

Arrived on time and was able to help us find a leak in our main bathroom and also in our 2nd bathroom. The man who came found our HVAC was leaking and we had no idea at all and he showed us where it was leaking so we could call a HVAC company to come out immediately. If he had not found this, our home would have major damage. He saved our home by finding this.We will be using them again in the future.

Excellent, reputable company. no one wants to spend money on plumbing, but we had no problems with their service.The plumber from Benjamin Franklin was excellent in discussing what needed to be done immediately, what could wait, etc. I liked the fact that their technicians are high quality, licensed folks who know what they are doing.

He was able to come out same day. He did a good job. He explained everything to me.

I called this company because of the recommendations on Angie's list. Everyting checked out with state licensing and other on-line information about this company. The technician was on time, very knowledgeable and professional. I am very pleased with the work he did. My only concern is the pricing. $483.00 for labor, since I had already purchased all the necessary parts, seems high.

I called them on a Saturday, and the person who was working dispatch got someone out the same day. Within just a few hours. He was very professional, and gave us lots of tips on issues we were having unrelated to the job. He was on site for maybe 45 mins to an hour. He unclogged the drain, told us where we might have issues in the future with our garbage disposal in the future (after he got it unstuck). It was a very good experience, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

They came out and did an inspection. No problems with the company.
