Although the technicians were fine, they were extremely overpriced and I won't be calling them again.

The experience went well overall. The serviceman was on time, the office called to communicate his schedule and he confirmed later that day. Wore little footies in the house to keep it clean. Pleasant and friendly, but went to work and didn't chat for 30 minutes. Asked if we needed a quote on anything else while he was there and gave us one on an issue, but didn't push to do it right away. Took care of our issue and went on his merry way.

Plumber was prompt, efficient, professional and pleasant to deal with.

I was pleased with the draining of the water heater. But it did seem like he was more focused on soliciting for other services beyond the flush.

They showed up on time and did a fantastic job. There was some concern about having to drill / cut through my tile, but there were no problems and the finished job looks great. At almost $1200 it felt a little pricy given that I provided the major parts and they did about 8 man hours of work (2 men for about 4 hours), but on the other hand they were able to do it within 48 hours after I called them (and I was crunched for time), so in the end it was worth it and I'm a happy customer.

Not happy with their work. inatially had a quote depending on issue, and was quoted a "bottom price" of 200 dollars, after he got into it, explained it was be more complex and cost more. I explained to the guy that i had pulled the toilet up myself and replaced the seals twice, i was ignored. Did it himself again and then charged me for it. Cut a hole in the drywall in the ceiling beneath the bathroom that was huge and didn't repair. And didn't recommend anyone to fix it, just left the hole. Liked the fact that they showed up on time.

All according to plan. Experience showed in how they installed the water heater and related to the customer. Will use them in the future.

We purchased a deal for pipe unclogging. He told us if the rooter didn't work it would be more, but he tried hard, broke the toy and unclogged our toilet! Only cost us the Angie's List deal so we were thrilled.

I had a kitchen sink that wouldn't drain and I wanted a garbage disposal... So I called around and they said they could install a first time install of a garbage disposal and figure out what was going on with my draining issue. When the plumber arrived he was on time and come with a truck that had everything that he could possibly need- except the electrician that would be needed to run the electricity to the new garbage disposal. Regardless, he checked under the house and even though all the major plumbing lines had been converted to PVC, the part leading from the sink drain out was still the metal from 1940's when the house was built and was corroded which was causing the issues. So, he replaced the old pipes with new, and added a vent under the sink to help it drain quicker, and installed the garbage disposal. It took him about 3.5 hours in total. He was able to call an electrician that works with them from time to time and he came out the next day to install the switch and now my drain drains, and the garbage disposal works great.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It was excellent. They came out pretty fast. They did some other options and gave us quotes. We are working on a schedule to get the other stuff done. They were very professional and everything was smooth. It wasn't a big sales pitch, which we liked. We just wanted them to answer our questions and tell us what we needed. We actually had a situation and he was upfront to let us know there was a chance we might have to add something and it might snowball. He just didn't try to do his work and leave us. We were real grateful for that. We trusted them and their recommendations. We've even had them come back to do work at our office. Their prices were fair. We would absolutely use them again.

He was unable to complete it because the problem was in the condo's common area, not my responsibility. He tried very hard and was so nice about it.

Excellent service. Daniel took the time to explain and demonstrate the piping issues as well as how to fix the problems. We were in an emergency situation with a full house septic back up and came immediately. They helped to avoid a much worse situation, gave several options and price quotes. I would call them again tomorrow. I have scheduled them to remedy the problems we are facing with our plumbing issues and will use them again in the future. We purchased this house 6 months ago. These problems should have been noted by the inspector. Daniel even took the time to help me with my home warranty communication. I give Daniel and Eric an A++. They might be a little higher than some plumbing services, but their customer service is worth the difference.

Greg Slade was our service technician. He was very polite and professional. He put shoe covers on before entering our house and even put covers on the wheels of the auger he used to clear our drain. The only problem we had with the service from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was that we had to wait two days before they could make it to our house to do the needed service. Having a clogged kitchen drain is extremely inconvenient for that length of time. I would like to use them again, but would hope to get them here more quickly the next time.|

We worked with Joe, and he was really great! The inspection was very thorough and in depth. His inspection turned up a possible problem. He had his supervisor come out to check it out. They then reviewed the situation with us. We ended up signing up for their service plan because we liked them so much.

They were professional, on time, and I would use them again. Recommend they wear booties.

I didn't realize how easy it would have been to do on my own. Live and learn. The service person was friendly, but did try to up-sell, which I could have done without.

Went very well, don't really like being marketed to for future needs when receiving services. Also quotes on additional needs, very high.

Excellent. My daughter called me Sunday night and said her bathroom drain was stopped up. I was working but told her that i would check it the next day, Monday. She called me Monday morning at 5:00 am and said there was still some water in her tub. I thought about Angie's List and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing as i have used them once before and was happy with service. I called them about 5:15 about coming out and was told they could be there at 11:00 which made me happy. Then about 8:00 they called and said they could make it by 9:00 if that was ok. That was even better. He showed up on time, was very professional, took care of the problem and even gave us a few tips on this problem not coming up again. He even checked on water heater and talked about it before he left.Thank you Angie's List and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. I don't work for either and do not even know anybody that does, which always scares me a little, but you saved me time, money and a lot of headaches on this this. THANK YOU!

It was excellent! The gentleman was very excellent and professional. He showed up on time and made sure to clean up once the job was complete.

The water heater had been "spitting" water- we thought because we didn't have a pressure relief valve on our old water heater. However, they determined that the water heater was actually bowed out at the bottom & leaking. It was very close to exploding. The technician was very professional & responsive. He tested the water pressure coming into the house and it was alot higher than it should have been, so they put in the correct part to control that. We were very pleased with their work. The only other comment is if it hadn't seemed like an immediate need, I would have gotten 2 more quotes before proceeding with the work (like Angie has suggested). It seemed high, but without comparison prices, it is difficult to tell.

I was happy that I could schedule service after normal business hours. They have an answering service. Awesome! Second time to use the company. They were fast, prompt, professional. The $66 coupon was a great value.

Ryan was courteous and professional and was able to unclog the drain. Gave me an estimate for possible future work. The lady in the office (sorry, can't remember her name) was able to get me on the schedule within a day and before thanksgiving.

The fact that they didn't charge me for an hour of time was something you don't see much of these days. They obviously understand customer service. I will use them next time I need a plumber.
