The initial visit went well. They were punctual and thorough (even though the sales guy was high pressure after initial diagnosis - (used- car salesman like). However, I have asked them to provide information for insurance purposes and they have been VERY slow to respond and when they do, it isn't thorough. They refuse to call my insurance company directly to explain the issue.

These people were so professional. they showed up when they said they would and introduced themselves. Very impressive, They did an excellent job with their work, a different person came to reset the toilet and was also very nice. Perfect 10 with the whole job

Ryan came sooner than the projected time which was a good thing. He was very professional, friendly, and efficient! He went right to work and explained everything he was doing. I was very pleased with this company and would gladly refer them to friends and family. He unstopped the drain in a very short time. I couldn't possibly be happier with this company!!

I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing at about 3:00 pm on a Friday - they didn't have any regular appointments left for the day, but they were able to get me an "after-hours" appointment. The fee was $99.00 for the service call since it was after-hours. We had just turned the water on in our rental, and the kitchen sink was filled with water and would not drain. The plumber who came to our house was very professional and was kind enough to suggest that I buy the $66.00 Angie's List drain clean-out coupon so I would not have to pay full-price. He used a power snake to clean the drain - he said the former tenants probably poured grease down the sink, which caused the blockage. The drain works perfectly now! Their regular prices are expensive, so I would probably only use them in an emergency situation, but it's good to have a company you can call in a pinch.

Technician was prompt and professional and did an excellent job explaining and fixing the problem. Benjamin Franklin aren't the cheapest, but they may well be the best. The work looks great and my pipes are FINALLY reliable.

Technician was friendly and genuine. He flushed the hot water heater just fine. He went under the house and found out why our cold water in the house had become "warm"was warmer then usual, and found that a "small woodland creature" had damaged some ductwork to try and stay warm. (I've sense got that fixed) He also checked the master shower and determined why the hot/cold positions were reversed from normal. The rep had to disassemble the master shower handle to check it. He found that the internal flow valve was installed in reverse, and he advised that it simply needed to be removed, flipped, and reinstalled to fix the reversed hot/cold position. The point I want to make is this: The rep had the master shower valve disassembled in his hand. He could have simply reinstalled correctly when he reassembled it. BUT INSTEAD, he reassembled it as it was, and in the "wrap-up session" to the visit, he told me that he could fix it for $425.00. They could have had 5-star ratings if it weren't for these two complaints... Had the rep just reinstalled the reversed valve correctly (He was right there!) OK, if not, fine. I understand they have to make a profit or they will go out of business. BUT $425! SERIOUSLY! The price I blame on Benjamin Franklin. The rep was genuine and real... I do not believe the exhorbient price was his idea. I think his employer EXPECTED him to gouge me, and since he wanted to keep his job, he did it. I priced the valve assembly online for $35 and have since fixed the valve myself. I will not be using Benjamin Franklin Plumbing again, unless it is a deal on AngiesList.

Very professional and was able to identify the problem quickly. Was flexible with the solution and did not pressure me to buy a faucet and allowed me to run to home depot and get one to replace the leaky one. Recommend and will use in the future

The Benjamin Fanklin representative was punctual, courteous, and did quality work. That being said, the price was ABSURD. The whole repair took no more than three hours and that included 30-45 minutes where the repair man was literally just waiting in his truck for a fitting to be brought to him for the repair. There were also minimal parts required for the repair - less than $30 worth if I had to guess. Total bill was $762 and that was with a Ben's club service membership discount. That works out to about $254 / hour. Since this was a water main leak I had to get it taken care of pretty quickly. Benjamin Franklin had good reviews on Angie's List which is why I chose them. I will likely never use them again, though, due to the exorbitant fees that they charge.

I have had them out a couple of times. I've had them replace a hot water heater, I've had them fix a pipe that burst over my garage. I've used them for a number of different things before. Good quality work, very expensive. As much as I've used them, I would not use them again. They have a club you can join. They charge you something like $7.50 a month and then you are a Ben Franklin club member and you get special rates. I would say that's a joke. You get ripped off. The work he did I could have had someone else out here to fix it instead of paying $300. It's crazy. If I had enough sense to do it, I would have done it myself.

Showed up on time. Diagnosed that issue was with septic tank being full, not an obstuction in the plubming line.

The plumber was professional, knew his business, was clean, respected my house and floors and, so far, no additional issues. The catch was that in order to get the price down, I had to agree to join their "club" which is about $9/month ($108/year). You are supposed to get a plumbing inspection and water heater drained every year. OK, that might be worth $108, but you know that, once they get into your house to inspect etc, that they will find other things that "need to be done" and pressure you to have them do it. After I get my water heater drained and inspected, I will probably cancel my membership and go back to the plumber I've used for years, Cox Plumbing (who were just too busy to fit me in on the day my toilet had backed up!)

Came out ,ordered the part delivered to my house, and put it in place.They did it for less than half the price another company tried to charge me.

Excellent! They addressed all the issues. It ended up costing me an additional fee of $220. Their price was fair and reasonable.

This was the 2nd time BF Plumbing has been here for plumbing needs. They came quickly, and the serviceman did a very good job. He was punctual, polite, explained the issues well, and completed the installation nicely. This was a Saturday service call, and there was no extra fee. My first service call several months ago was just as easy, and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

They took care of it for me. They honored the coupon. I don't remember being ticked off. I don't remember having any problem with them and the price was right, considering the coupon.

My experience with them was great. He came over and he knew exactly what the problem was. He had all the equipment. He didn't have to go back and make another trip to get more equipment. He was very professional. He spent quite awhile here. He knew what he was doing. He had to go back and do it a second time, because he couldn't get it quite done the way he wanted to. But it's been okay ever since. It was a great deal for me, to get it done for $66. He explained that they had some kind of an insurance thing, where you pay so much a month and if anything happens, you'd be covered. We didn't opt to do that. He wasn't pushy about it, he was just telling me for my information. It was a good situation for him, to get in and look around to see if I had other problems. So it worked out good for both of us. They were here three days after I purchased my Big Deal. I wasn't expecting them to be here so quickly. They were very prompt about it. The guy that came was very personable and he knew what he was doing. They did it like they said they would, and I was really kind of surprised that it worked out as well as it did. It was excellent. It was a just a very good transaction, all the way around with Angie's List and the plumbing company and they guy that came and everything.

BF sent an email prior to the service with a photo of the plumber, Ryan. Ryan was very professional, careful, and patient. He spent about 7 hours on our house. While the price was high, it appears the work was done well. BF excelled in customer service! We will call them again.

They did a good job. We were pleased with their service. They arrived on time and we have not had any issues since.

This plumber (Daniel) was nice, professional, and on time. They came in ready to do the job - but their price was about $100 more than another company. The plumber said he'd be happy to call his manager and ask if he could match the price - and he did that on the spot. They did and we had him do the job. This was after another company came out the day before and didn't want to do it because of some standing water in our crawl space....and yet a second company the day before had come out to do an estimate but was not prepared to do the job (despite the gal on the phone telling me the plumber would come prepared to do the job - not just an estimate)!! The plumber was done in about an hour and was nice to deal with. We'll call them back if we have other plumbing needs in the future.
